AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing cosmetic recommendation methods primarily focus on individual products without considering the interactions and compatibility among multiple products, and there is a need for improved data integration and interoperability to provide customized multi-product routines.

Method used

A computer-implemented method that generates a cosmetic treatment routine by vectorizing product and user information in a reference space, using an attribute reference system to select compatible products based on user characteristics and product attributes, and applying filtering criteria to ensure compatibility and relevance.

🎯Benefits of technology

Enables the generation of customized, time-efficient, and compatible cosmetic routines tailored to individual user preferences and skin/hair conditions, enhancing user experience by avoiding redundant or incompatible product combinations.

Abstract

Disclosed is a method for generating a cosmetic treatment routine from a cosmetic product database, the database containing product information relating to cosmetic products, the product information being vectorized in a reference space, each cosmetic product in the database being represented by a product vector in the reference space, the cosmetic routine comprising a plurality of successive steps, each step comprising application of at least one product, the method comprising: - acquiring user information, - vectorizing the user information, - pre-selecting cosmetic products from the database, - filtering cosmetic products thus pre-selected, with a view in particular to excluding one or more cosmetic products, if any, listed as incompatible with the user information, - identifying, based on the product information of the products thus pre-selected and filtered, at least one product suitable for a respective step of said routine.
