Abstract
An input / output device (31) comprises: a difference value calculation means for calculating the difference value between a scheduled signal transmission time received in advance from a communication unit (30) and the reception time of a synchronization signal transmitted from the communication unit (30); a difference value storage means for storing the calculated difference value; and a time update means for updating, on the basis of the difference value, the time at which information was received from a device (4) or the time at which information is transmitted to the device (4). Accordingly, the time at which the information was received from the device (4) or the time at which the information is transmitted to the device (4) can be highly precisely synchronized with the time that is managed by the communication unit (30).
