In the intelligent recommendation method, an electronic device comprises a foldable screen, and the foldable screen comprises a primary screen and a secondary screen. When the foldable screen is in a first folded state, the primary screen is used for displaying an operating system interface of the electronic device and application programs running thereon, and the secondary screen is used for displaying a virtual keyboard and receiving a user input by means of the virtual keyboard. After detecting that the foldable screen is in the first folded state, the electronic device can determine, on the basis of a user interface displayed on the primary screen, a recommended service displayed in an intelligent recommendation area of the secondary screen. When the primary screen displays a first user interface, the electronic device may display, in the intelligent recommendation area on the secondary screen, a recommended service corresponding to the first user interface. When the first screen is switched from the first user interface to a second user interface, the display content in the first area is switched from the first recommended service to a second recommended service.
