[0004] The present invention relates to a locking system for a turbomachine nacelle, particularly an aircraft turbomachine nacelle, and a nacelle equipped with such a locking system comprising a first cowling and a second cowling. The locking system is configured to lock the cowlings in the closed position when in a locked configuration and to allow the cowlings to be opened when in an unlocked configuration.

Some nacelles incorporate a thrust reverser system that at least partially closes the annular cold-air channel and directs the secondary flow forward, forming a reverse jet that generates counter-thrust to brake the aircraft.One known type of nacelle has two half-hoods or hoods covering the midsection surrounding the secondary flow blower connected to each other by a hinge having a longitudinal axis located in the upper part, so as to allow the lower parts of these hoods to be opened for maintenance operations.

[0010] The covers are held in the closed position, generally at the bottom, by latches that create a tangential clamping between the two covers. Figures 1 and 2 show schematic and cross-sectional views of the covers 1000A and 1000B equipped with such a latch, respectively in the locked position for closing the covers and in the unlocked position for opening them.

[0011] As is known, these locks 1100 comprise a hook 1110 and a loop 1120, each attached to one of the covers 1000A, 1000B. In a locked configuration (Figure 1) of the locks 1100, the hook 1110 cooperates in a retaining action with the loop 1120 in a closed position of the covers. In an unlocked position (Figure 2) of the locks 1100, the hook 1110 is disengaged from the loop 1120 and allows the covers to be opened.
