Abstract
The present application provides a resource configuration method and a communication apparatus. The method relates to the technical field of communications. The method comprises: a second device receiving first configuration information, the first configuration information being used for indicating a first offset value, the first offset value being an offset value of a first frequency domain position corresponding to a first carrier relative to a second channel raster, the first carrier being used for a first device to communicate with the second device, and the second channel raster being a predefined channel raster; and then on the basis of the first offset value, determining the first frequency domain position corresponding to the first carrier. The second device herein may be a device (i.e., an A-IoT device) that supports A-IoT communication. By means of the method, a corresponding frequency domain resource can be flexibly configured for A-IoT.
