Abstract

Provided are a plant container and a wall greening device capable of suppressing root rot of plants. A wall greening device 1 comprises a container row in which a plurality of plant containers are stacked in the vertical direction, the plant containers being filled with a culture medium and storing pots in which plants are planted. A liquid is supplied to the container row downward from above. The plant containers each comprise: a first overflow portion that causes the liquid exceeding a first water level in the internal space of a container body to flow down below a bottom wall; and a second overflow portion that causes the liquid exceeding a second water level above the first water level to flow down below the bottom wall. Thus, when clogging occurs in the first overflow portion, the liquid exceeding the second water level can be made to flow down to the container body below by means of the second overflow portion. As a result, the inner space of each container body is prevented from being filled with the liquid, thus making root rot of the plant less likely to occur.
