Description

Pet Diaper

[0001] The present invention relates to pet diapers.

[0002] Conventionally, there is known a pet diaper having a structure in which a storage bag for storing excrement during defecation is connected to the diaper body. For example, in Patent Document 1, an opening is provided in the buttocks contact portion of the diaper body to connect a feces bag, and a plate piece is provided that abuts on the upper surface of the base of the tail and moves integrally with the base of the tail. When defecating, when the tail is erected or protruded horizontally, the plate piece is moved to open the opening, and the excrement is dropped into the feces bag.

[0003] Also, in Patent Document 2, a frame body is fixed to the excretion window of the diaper body to connect an excretion bag, and a bag expansion auxiliary sheet wider than the lateral width of the frame body is provided on the outer surface of the excretion bag, and a cut portion for penetrating the tail is provided. A pet diaper structure is described. In this structure, it is said that the internal space of the excretion bag can be expanded when the tail is lifted during defecation.

[0004] Japanese Patent No. 6232688, Japanese Patent No. 7533929

[0005] However, in conventional pet diapers, it may not be easy to sufficiently expand the internal space of the excretion bag with the tail during defecation to form the excretion bag into a three-dimensional shape. For example, since the wall portion of the excretion bag is extremely lightweight and thin, when the outer wall portion of the excretion bag near the opening of the diaper body is lifted by the movement of the tail, the inner wall portion adheres to the outer wall portion and is lifted, and it may not be easy to expand the internal space and form a three-dimensional shape on the lower side of the excretion bag.

[0006] Also, the cut for penetrating the tail through the wall portion is likely to cause stress to the pet if it is small, and if it is large, the penetrated tail may shift with respect to the wall portion, and it may not be easy to expand the excretion bag into a three-dimensional shape. In particular, in elderly pets, it becomes difficult to stand up or lift the tail, so there are cases where it is difficult to form the excretion bag into a three-dimensional shape. If it cannot be formed into an appropriate three-dimensional shape during defecation in this way, it becomes difficult for the pet to defecate or difficult to store excrement in the excretion bag, which is not preferable.

[0007] To solve these problems, the present invention aims to provide a pet diaper that allows the excrement bag to be formed into a three-dimensional shape during defecation, making it easy to collect excrement in the bag during defecation.

[0008] The pet diaper of the present invention, which solves the above problems, comprises a diaper body and an excrement bag connected to the outside of the diaper body, the internal space of which communicates with the inside of the diaper body through a window, the diaper is attached to the rear of the pet so that the tail passes through the diaper body and the excrement bag, and the excrement during defecation is contained in the internal space of the excrement bag through the window, and is characterized in that a shape adjustment means is provided to adjust the shape of the excrement bag, and the shape adjustment means is provided in the wall of the excrement bag at a position opposite the window, and has a tail fitting part that can adjust the tail hole through which the tail passes according to the thickness of the tail.

[0009] According to the pet diaper of the present invention, a shape adjustment means is provided to adjust the shape of the excretion bag, so that the shape of the excretion bag becomes three-dimensional during defecation. If this shape adjustment means is a tail fitting part provided on the wall opposite the window of the excretion bag and which can adjust the tail hole according to the thickness of the tail, the shape of the tail hole can be matched to the tail, so that when it is put on the pet, the tail can be fitted with appropriate contact pressure by the tail hole. As a result the pet will feel less stressed, the wall can be held stably in the appropriate position on the tail, and for example the wall of the excretion bag can be held on the tail in a position where it is spread out to become three-dimensional, or the wall can be made to become three-dimensional by the movement of the tail during defecation. As a result the excretion bag can be formed into a three-dimensional shape during defecation, and it is possible to collect the excrement in the excretion bag during defecation.

[0010] In the pet diaper of the present invention, the tail fitting portion has an opening provided in the wall portion facing the window portion, and a plurality of tail-penetrating pieces formed larger than the opening and attachable to the outer surface of the wall portion at the position facing the window portion, and the plurality of tail-penetrating pieces may be provided with tail holes of different sizes from each other.

[0011] In this way, by selecting from multiple tail-piercing pieces with tail holes of different sizes, a tail-piercing piece with the optimal tail hole for the pet's tail can be attached to the outer surface of the wall. Moreover, since the attachment position of the tail-piercing piece to the wall can be arbitrarily adjusted, the tail hole can be placed in the optimal position for the pet's tail. Therefore, it is easy to stably hold the wall in the appropriate position for the tail, and it is easier to form a three-dimensional shape for the excretion bag during defecation.

[0012] In the pet diaper of the present invention, the tail-piercing piece may be formed from an elastic foam, and the tail hole may have an asteroid shape. In this way, the elasticity of the tail-piercing piece allows the tail to be stably held in the tail hole. Moreover, the thickness of the foam ensures sufficient thickness in the area that contacts the tail, thus distributing the force on the tail, and because the area that is pressed against the tail is arc-shaped, the stress on the pet can be minimized.

[0013] In the pet diaper of the present invention, the tail fitting portion has a tail hole provided at the position of the wall portion opposite the window portion, and an elastic body arranged around the tail hole to elastically reduce its circumference, and the circumference may be configured to be stretchable against the biasing force of the elastic body. In this way, since the circumference of the tail hole is reduced by the elastic body and is elastically stretchable, the tail hole can contact and press against the circumference of the tail to match the thickness of the tail that has been passed through. Therefore, tails of different thicknesses can be held stably.

[0014] Another pet diaper of the present invention comprises a diaper body and an excrement bag connected to the outside of the diaper body, the internal space of which communicates with the inside of the diaper body through a window, and is attached to the rear of the pet so that the tail passes through the window and the excrement bag, and excrement during defecation is contained in the internal space of the excrement bag through the window, wherein a shape adjustment means is provided to adjust the shape of the excrement bag, and the shape adjustment means may have a shape holding part that deforms and holds the body of the excrement bag into a three-dimensional cylindrical shape.

[0015] Such pet diapers are equipped with a shape-adjusting mechanism that allows the shape of the excrement bag to be adjusted so that it takes on a three-dimensional shape when the pet defecates. Furthermore, if the shape-adjusting mechanism is a shape-holding part that deforms and holds the body of the excrement bag into a three-dimensional cylindrical shape, the walls of the excrement bag can be kept in a three-dimensional shape at all times, making it easier to collect excrement in the three-dimensional excrement bag when the pet defecates.

[0016] Another pet diaper of the present invention may have a shape-retaining portion that constricts and holds the lower end of the excrement bag. In this way, the flexibility of the excrement bag can be maintained even when it is made into a three-dimensional shape, and an increase in the weight of the excrement bag can be prevented. Therefore, even when the excrement bag is made into a three-dimensional shape, it is easier to prevent an increase in stress on the pet. Moreover, the effort required to make the excrement bag into a three-dimensional shape can be reduced.

[0017] Each pet diaper of the present invention has a diaper body and an excrement bag joined via a connecting portion, and this connecting portion may be flexible enough to conform to the shape of the buttocks. In this way, various problems caused by excessive rigidity of the connecting portion can be suppressed when the diaper is attached to the pet.

[0018] The pet diaper of the present invention provides a pet diaper in which the excretion bag can be formed in a three-dimensional shape during defecation, making it easy to collect excrement in the excretion bag during defecation.

[0020] Embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the figures. Figure 1 is a front view of the pet diaper of this embodiment, Figures 2(a) to (c) are front views of the excretion bag or its wall, Figure 3 is an exploded perspective view of the pet diaper, Figure 4 is a perspective view showing the excretion bag held in a three-dimensional shape by the shape-retaining part, and Figure 5 is a perspective view of the pet diaper being worn on a pet. As shown in Figure 1, the pet diaper 10 of this embodiment comprises a diaper body 11, an excretion bag 13 connected to the outside of the diaper body 11, and a connecting part 16 that joins the diaper body 11 and the excretion bag 13. The pet 15 to which the pet diaper 10 is applied is not particularly limited, but is a four-legged animal that has a tail 15a and an anus directly below the tail 15a, such as a dog or a cat.

[0021] The diaper body 11 is a disposable diaper that can be attached to the rear end 15b of the pet 15. Various absorbent materials are placed between an inner outer material positioned on the pet 15 side and an outer outer material positioned on the outside. Double-sided adhesive tape or hook-and-loop fasteners are provided on the edges of each outer material for attachment to the pet 15, and the diaper body 11 is configured to be adjustable and attached according to the shape of the rear end 15b, body 15c, legs 15d, etc. An opening 11a is formed in the rear end 15b of the diaper body 11 at a position corresponding to the tail 15a and anus, for forming a window 12 which will be described later.

[0022] As shown in Figures 2(a) to (c) and Figure 3, the excretion bag 13 has a bag body 14 connected to the diaper body 11 and a tail-piercing piece 19a attached to the outer surface of the bag body 14. The width of the tail-piercing piece 19a is smaller than the width of the connecting part 16, which will be described later.

[0023] The bag body 14 is made of, for example, a resin film such as polyethylene. The upper and lower ends and the left and right ends are closed, and the wall portions 14a are arranged facing each other and are formed in a flat shape with the spaces between them close together. By separating these opposing wall portions 14a, an internal space 13a is formed. On the wall portion 14a located on the diaper body 11 side, an opening 14b is formed at a position corresponding to the opening 11a of the diaper body 11, for forming a window portion 12, which will be described later.

[0024] The connecting portion 16 connects the diaper body 11 and the waste bag 13. It is formed in the shape of a thin plate, with one side joined to the diaper body 11 and the other side joined to the waste bag 13. The connecting portion 16 is made of a flexible material that can bend to conform to the shape of the pet's buttocks 15b and easily deform to fit along the shape of the buttocks 15b. The material of the connecting portion 16 may be soft urethane foam, elastomers such as rubber, various flexible resins or paper, or various fabrics. The connecting portion 16 has an annular frame 24 that is attached around the opening 11a of the diaper body 11 and around the opening 14b of the bag body 14 of the waste bag 13. The shape of the frame 24 is not particularly limited, but in this embodiment it is formed in an irregular shape that combines a square and a semicircle.

[0025] The frame 24 surrounds and attaches the opening 11a of the diaper body 11 and the opening 14b of the bag body 14, thereby forming a window 12 that connects the inside of the diaper body 11 with the internal space 13a of the excretion bag 13, with the inside of each opening 11a, 14b and the inside of the annular frame 24. The window 12 is sized so that the tail 15a of the pet 15 can pass through it, and the anus, located directly below the tail 15a, can face the internal space 13a of the excretion bag 13.

[0026] As shown in Figure 4, the excrement bag 13 is provided with a shape adjustment means 17 that adjusts the shape of the excrement bag 13 to a three-dimensional shape, thereby forming a three-dimensional internal space 13a inside the bag body 14. In this embodiment, the shape adjustment means 17 includes a tail fitting portion 18 provided on the wall portion 14a of the bag body 14 opposite to the diaper body 11 side, and a shape holding portion 23 provided at the lower end of the body portion 13b of the excrement bag 13.

[0027] The tail fitting portion 18 is provided in the wall portion 14a of the bag body 14 facing the window portion 12, so that the tail 15a can pass through it. The tail fitting portion 18 is configured so that the tail hole 19b for passing the tail 15a through can be adjusted according to the thickness of the tail 15a. Specifically, the tail fitting portion 18 has an opening 21 provided in the wall portion 14a at a position facing the window portion 12, and a tail-penetrating piece 19a which is larger than the opening 21 and narrower in width than the connecting portion 16, and has a tail hole 19b provided therein. The tail-penetrating piece 19a is positioned to cover the opening 21 from the outside and is formed so that it can be attached to the outer surface of the wall portion 14a facing the window portion 12.

[0028] The tail fitting section 18 has multiple tail-penetrating pieces 19a when not attached. Each of the multiple tail-penetrating pieces 19a has a tail hole 19b formed in it of a different size. A tail-penetrating piece 19a with a tail hole 19b of a size suitable for the thickness and shape of the pet's tail 15a is selected, and the tail-penetrating piece 19a is attached to a position on the wall 14a that is suitable for the position of the pet's tail 15a, thereby integrating it with the bag body 14 for use. This makes it possible to provide a tail hole 19b in the excretion bag 13 that can be fitted to the pet 15 to which the pet diaper 10 is attached.

[0029] When the pet diaper 10 is attached to the pet 15 with the tail hole 19b fitted by the tail fitting part 18, the tail hole 19b is prevented from slipping and shifting relative to the tail 15a. As a result, the position of the tail hole 19b relative to the tail 15a, that is, the position of the outer wall portion 14a of the excretion bag 13 relative to the tail 15a, becomes less likely to change. Therefore, for example, when the tail 15a is lifted during defecation, the outer wall portion 14a is deformed in accordance with the movement of the tail 15a, making it possible to deform the excretion bag 13 into a three-dimensional shape.

[0030] Furthermore, if the excretion bag 13 is pre-formed into a three-dimensional shape and then the tail hole 19b is attached to the tail 15a, the excretion bag 13 can be kept in a three-dimensional shape at all times. Therefore, even if an elderly pet is unable to stand up or lift its tail sufficiently, it can still defecate into the three-dimensional internal space 13a of the excretion bag 13.

[0031] On the other hand, the shape-holding part 23 deforms the wall portion 14a to hold the body portion 13b of the excrement bag 13 in a three-dimensional cylindrical shape. In this embodiment, the shape-holding part 23 is composed of a constricting part 23a that reduces the widthwise position of the lower end of the excrement bag 13 to hold it. The constricting part 23a deforms the wall portion 14a, for example, so that an internal space 13a is formed in the bag body 14, and folds and reduces the wall portion 14a on the lower end side of the bag body 14, thereby deforming the body portion 13b of the excrement bag 13 into a three-dimensional cylindrical shape. In this state, the three-dimensional shape can be maintained by fixing the lower end side of the wall portion 14a by welding, adhesive, tape, etc.

[0032] Next, the method of using such a pet diaper 10 will be explained. To put the pet diaper 10 on the pet 15, first select a tail-piercing piece 19a having a tail hole 19b that is suitable for the tail 15a of the pet 15, and attach the tail-piercing piece 19a to the outer wall 14a of the bag body 14 of the excrement bag 13 to close the opening 21. At this time, ensure that the tail hole 19b is positioned in a position suitable for the position of the tail 15a of the pet 15. Pass the tail 15a of the pet 15 through the diaper body 11 and the excrement bag 13 at the positions of the window 12 and the tail hole 19b, and place the diaper body 11 against the pet 15's buttocks 15b. Attach the diaper body 11 to the pet 15's buttocks 15b so that it wraps around the base of the torso 15c and legs 15d. At this time, ensure that the anus faces the window 12.

[0033] The tail hole 19b is secured to the tail 15a of the pet 15 at an appropriate position. For example, the outer wall portion 14a may be separated from the wall portion 14a on the pet 15 side so that the excretion bag 13 takes on a three-dimensional shape, and the tail hole 19b may be secured to the tail 15a. If the body portion 13b of the excretion bag 13 is not deformed into a three-dimensional cylindrical shape by the constricted portion 23a, the lower end of the wall portion 14a of the excretion bag 13 is reduced to form and fix the constricted portion 23a, thereby holding the body portion 13b in a three-dimensional cylindrical shape.

[0034] As a result, as shown in Figure 5, the pet diaper 10 can be attached to the rear end 15b of the pet 15. When the pet 15 defecates while wearing the pet diaper 10, the excrement 15e can be directly collected through the window 12 into the internal space 13a of the three-dimensionally shaped excrement bag 13.

[0035] Next, the effects and advantages obtained by this embodiment will be described. With the pet diaper 10 of this embodiment as described above, a shape adjustment means 17 is provided to adjust the shape of the excretion bag 13, so that the shape of the excretion bag 13 becomes a three-dimensional shape when the pet defecates. If this shape adjustment means 17 is a tail fitting part 18 provided on the wall part 14a facing the window part 12 of the excretion bag 13 and which can adjust the tail hole 19b according to the thickness of the tail 15a, then the shape of the tail hole 19b can be matched to the tail 15a, so that when it is put on the pet, the tail hole 19b can fit the tail 15a with appropriate contact pressure.

[0036] Therefore, pets are less likely to experience stress, and the wall portion 14a can be stably held in the appropriate position on the tail portion 15a. For example, the wall portion 14a of the excrement bag 13 can be held on the tail portion 15a when it is spread out to form a three-dimensional shape, or the movement of the tail portion 15a during defecation can easily cause the wall portion 14a to form a three-dimensional shape. As a result, it becomes easier to collect the excrement 15e into the excrement bag 13 during defecation.

[0037] In the pet diaper 10 of this embodiment, the tail fitting portion 18 has an opening 21 provided in the wall portion 14a facing the window portion 12, and a plurality of tail-penetrating pieces 19a that are larger than the opening 21 and can be attached to the outer surface of the wall portion 14a at a position facing the window portion 12, with tail holes 19b of different sizes provided in the plurality of tail-penetrating pieces 19a. Therefore, by selecting from the plurality of tail-penetrating pieces 19a, a tail-penetrating piece 19a with a tail hole 19b that is optimal for the tail 15a of the pet 15 can be attached to the outer surface of the wall portion 14a. Moreover, since the attachment position of the tail-penetrating piece 19a to the wall surface can be arbitrarily adjusted, the tail hole 19b can be provided at the optimal position for the tail 15a of the pet 15. As a result, the wall portion 14a can be stably held in the appropriate position for the tail 15a, and the excretion bag 13 can be formed into a three-dimensional shape more easily during defecation.

[0038] Furthermore, in the pet diaper 10 of this embodiment, a shape-adjusting means 17 for adjusting the shape of the excretion bag 13 is provided, which includes a shape-holding part 23 that deforms and holds the body portion 13b of the excretion bag 13 into a three-dimensional cylindrical shape. Therefore, by deforming the body portion 13b of the excretion bag 13 into a three-dimensional cylindrical shape using the shape-adjusting means 17 and holding it with the shape-holding part 23, the wall portion 14a of the bag body 14 can be kept in a three-dimensional shape at all times, making it easier to collect excrement 15e in the three-dimensional excretion bag 13 when defecating.

[0039] In this embodiment, the shape-holding portion 23 is composed of a constricting portion 23a that reduces and holds the lower end of the excrement bag 13, so that the flexibility of the excrement bag 13 can be maintained even when it is made into a three-dimensional shape, and an increase in the weight of the excrement bag 13 can be prevented. Therefore, even when the excrement bag 13 is made into a three-dimensional shape, it is easy to prevent an increase in the stress given to the pet. Moreover, this method reduces the effort required to form the excrement bag 13 into a three-dimensional shape. Furthermore, in this embodiment, the diaper body 11 and the excrement bag 13 are joined via a connecting portion 16, and the connecting portion 16 has flexibility that allows it to deform along the shape of the buttocks portion 15a. Therefore, when attached to the pet 15, the excessive rigidity of the connecting portion 16 can suppress various problems caused by the rigidity of the connecting portion 16, such as causing excessive discomfort to the pet 15, getting in the way when the pet 15 brings its buttocks portion 15a and its vicinity close to the ground or floor, damaging the excrement bag 13, or reducing the appearance quality of the pet diaper 10 when it is attached.

[0040] [Second Embodiment] Figure 8 is a perspective view of the tail-piercing piece attached to the excretion bag 13 of the pet diaper 10 of the second embodiment. In the pet diaper 10 of the second embodiment, the tail-piercing piece 19a is formed in a circular shape from an elastic foam. Furthermore, the tail hole 19b provided in the tail-piercing piece 19a has an asteroid shape. Otherwise, it is the same as the first embodiment.

[0041] Even in such a second embodiment, it is possible to obtain the same operational effects as those of the first embodiment. Moreover, in the pet diaper 10 of the second embodiment, since the tail penetration piece 19a is formed of an elastic foam and the tail hole 19b has an asteroid shape, it is easy to stably hold the tail 15a in the tail hole 19b by the elasticity of the tail penetration piece 19a. In particular, since the thickness of the portion abutting on the tail 15a can be ensured by the thickness of the foam, the force applied to the tail 15a can be dispersed. Further, since the portion pressed against the tail 15a has an arc shape, the stress applied to the pet can be minimized.

[0042] [Third Embodiment] FIG. 9 is a perspective view of the tail hole provided in the excrement bag of the pet diaper of the third embodiment and its surroundings. In the pet diaper 10 of the third embodiment, the tail fitting portion 18 includes a tail penetration piece 19a joined so as to cover the opening 21 at the position of the wall portion 14a facing the window portion 12, a tail hole 19b provided in the tail penetration piece 19a, and an elastic body 22 disposed around the tail hole 19b.

[0043] The tail penetration piece 19a of the third embodiment is formed of a waterproof and highly flexible material, such as a non-woven fabric. Similar to the first embodiment, the outer peripheral edge of the tail penetration piece 19a is abutted and adhered to the outer surface of the wall portion 14a of the bag body 14. On the other hand, because of its high flexibility, the shape of the tail penetration piece 19a itself does not necessarily have to be flat, and it is formed in a shape that can form gathers inside so that the perimeter of the tail hole 19b can be changed.

[0044] The elastic body 22 is formed in an annular shape, for example, by rubber, and is joined to the periphery of the tail hole 19b of the tail penetration piece 19a by forming gathers and sewing or the like. This elastic body 22 biases the tail penetration piece 19a in a direction to reduce the perimeter of the tail hole 19b. By expanding the tail hole 19b against the biasing force of the elastic body 22, the perimeter and diameter of the tail hole can be extended.

[0045] Even in this third embodiment, it is possible to obtain the same effects as in the first embodiment. Moreover, in the pet diaper 10 of the third embodiment, the tail fitting portion 18 has a tail hole 19b provided at the position of the wall portion 14a facing the window portion 12, and an elastic body 22 arranged around the tail hole 19b that elastically reduces the circumference, and the circumference is configured to be stretchable against the biasing force of the elastic body 22. Therefore, the tail hole 19b can contact and press around the tail 15a according to the thickness of the tail 15a that has been passed through, and tails 15a of different thicknesses can be held stably.

[0046] It should be noted that the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described above, and can be modified as appropriate within the scope of the present invention. For example, in the embodiments described above, the shape of the tail hole 19b of the tail-piercing piece 19a attached to the excretion bag 13 was shown as circular, but it is not limited in any way.
