AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

In existing technologies, the Channel State Information (CSI) reports from terminals are not effective or reliable enough, and there is a lack of effective solutions, which makes it impossible for base stations to accurately obtain channel quality.

Method used

The terminal transmits channel state information under certain conditions, including receiving at least K consecutive reference signal transmissions, and reports a CSI report when the conditions are met. The conditions include receiving consecutive or discontinuous reference signals before the CSI reference resource, ensuring the validity of the CSI report.

Benefits of technology

By establishing new CSI reporting conditions, the effectiveness of CSI reports has been improved, frequent interruptions have been avoided, and base stations have been able to obtain channel quality information in a timely manner.

Abstract

Disclosed in the embodiments of the present disclosure are a channel state information reporting method, an apparatus, a communication device, and a storage medium. The method comprises: when satisfying a first condition, a terminal sends channel state information, wherein the first condition comprises at least one of the following: for each or at least one resource in a periodic or semi-persistent resource set used for channel measurement, the terminal receives at least K or at least the most recent K consecutive reference signal transmissions prior to a channel state information (CSI) reference resource corresponding to a channel state information report; and prior to the CSI reference resource corresponding to the channel state information report, for each resource in an aperiodic resource set used for channel measurement, the terminal receives at least one reference signal transmission.
