The method in the embodiments of the present application comprises: a terminal acquiring a reporting configuration; the terminal sending a CSI report to a network-side device on the basis of the reporting configuration, wherein the CSI report comprises first information and second information, the first information being used for indicating channel information corresponding to a first port set, the channel information corresponding to the first port set comprising at least one of a covariance matrix, a channel matrix and a precoding matrix, the second information being used for indicating a first spatial domain beam or a first spatial-frequency vector pair that corresponds to a full port set, and the first port set being a subset of the full port set.
