AI Technical Summary
Technical Problem
Existing vehicle seat power sliding systems face issues where passengers struggle to escape during accidents due to power cutoff, and conventional solutions risk unintended detachment from strong external forces.
Method used
A self-locking device with a double-cam structure and planetary gear mechanism allows manual release using a lever, ensuring passenger escape and preventing unintended detachment during emergencies.
Benefits of technology
Enables safe manual release of the seat in emergencies, preventing forced detachment and maintaining functionality without power, while minimizing gear backlash and allowing reconnection.

Abstract
The present invention relates to a self-locking device the self-locking of which can be released. The device may comprise: a locking lever that rotates around a first hinge shaft and has an engaging portion formed at one part thereof to be engaged with a power transfer device, and a catching portion formed at another part thereof; a release lever that rotates around a second hinge shaft and has a stopper portion formed at one part thereof to be caught by and coupled to the catching portion of the locking lever, and an application portion which is formed at another part thereof and to which an operating force is applied; and an elastic member for applying an elastic restoring force in an advancing direction in which the engaging portion of the locking lever moves forward to be engaged with the power transfer device and the stopper portion of the release lever moves forward to be caught by and coupled to the catching portion of the locking lever.
