Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a lighting device comprising an elongated support structure, a clamping device and a holding device for receiving a lighting element.
[0002] Shelving systems are widely used and widely used for product and merchandise presentation. With shelving systems, the requirement is always that the available display space must be utilized as effectively as possible. Therefore, the aim is usually to keep the distance between two vertically spaced shelves as small as possible. However, this arrangement poses the problem that lower shelves are shaded by the viewer or customer standing in front of the shelf, making them difficult to see. This can be avoided, for example, by installing powerful lighting elements or direct spotlights, usually in the ceiling area, to ensure that the lower shelves are also adequately illuminated. The same applies to the deeper areas of each shelf.
[0003] On the one hand, the arrangement of a plurality of lighting elements leads to high energy consumption and thus reduces profitability, and on the other hand, the large amount of light will also dazzle the viewer or customer. A known alternative is to attach a lighting element directly to the shelf in such a way that the lighting element illuminates the shelf below. Since an area is usually provided on the shelf for labeling the goods arranged on the shelf, a further problem arises: for the shelves arranged further down, the labeling section should be pivoted somewhat more towards the shelf to enable better readability by the customer standing in front of the shelf. The orientation of the lighting element must therefore be adjusted so that it can correctly illuminate the shelf.
[0004] For example, DE 20 2014 001 867 U1 discloses a label rail with detachably installed shelf lighting, which label rail is detachably arranged on the shelf shelf base via at least two holding elements. This allows the label rail to be aligned in two different angular positions relative to the shelf shelf base. The cited document further discloses that the label rail is also designed to arrange the shelf lighting in more than one mounting position. The lighting element is held by holding elements with several wrap-around or locking elements. These wrap-around or locking elements engage with a corresponding counterpart of the lighting component. A disadvantage of this design is that the holding element must be designed to be able to hold the lighting component in both a first and a second mounting position. The holding elements must not influence each other in the respective mounting position, so that the lighting element can be arranged unhindered.
[0005] A disadvantage of the illustrated design is that, on the one hand, the holding device is complex and must be rigid enough to securely fix the lighting element. On the other hand, it must be sufficiently flexible to withstand manipulation when switching between the different alignment positions of the lighting element without damage. Furthermore, switching between the different alignment positions requires considerable manipulation effort and always carries the risk of damaging the holding element.
[0006] DE 20 2013 102 089 U1 describes a shelf labeling rail for a shelf, comprising a section projecting downwards beyond the shelf and at least one fastening element for attachment to the shelf. A rod-shaped light source is arranged on the underside of the downwardly projecting section. This light source is pivotably mounted on the underside of the downwardly projecting section. The light source is accommodated in a U-shaped profile, which is pivotably mounted on the rear side on the underside of the downwardly projecting section.
[0007] DE 10 2013 203 103 A1 discloses a fastening element for a lighting device. The fastening element comprises a base with a rear support surface, a tab protruding from the front for engagement with the lighting device, and an elastically flexible bracket protruding from the front. The bracket is curved toward the tab and has at least one lug on its inner side for engagement with the lighting device. A similarly disclosed system is equipped with a lighting device and at least one fastening element attached thereto, wherein the at least one fastening element holds the lighting device between the tab and the bracket in a clamping fit.
[0008] DE 20 2011 104 303 U1 describes a mounting profile for lighting devices, in particular for LED strips. A mounting surface for lighting devices is formed inside the mounting profile, which is arranged between two opposing wall regions and opposite an opening in the mounting profile. On the outer periphery of the mounting profile, a plurality of locking elements are arranged, spaced apart in the circumferential direction and each extending in the longitudinal direction of the mounting profile, by means of which the mounting profile can be fastened to a holding profile in at least two different rotational positions about an axis lying in the longitudinal direction. This holding profile has spaced-apart, in particular at least substantially parallel, legs, the respective upper end of which is designed as a locking means that interacts with a respective locking element of the mounting profile and extends in the longitudinal direction of the holding element.
[0009] The object of the invention is to provide a lighting device which has a simpler structure than known devices and further enables a simplified arrangement of a lighting means, in particular a simple configuration of the orientation of the lighting means in relation to the support structure.
[0010] The object of the invention is achieved by a lighting device which has an elongated support structure with a front base surface, a clamping device and a holding device for receiving a lighting element. The clamping device and the holding device are formed on the rear of the base surface. The clamping device has a suspension section and a clamping section, wherein the clamping section has a first and second clamping position. Furthermore, the holding device has two holding arms projecting beyond the rear side, wherein each holding arm has a guide element. The lighting element has a main body with a base surface and two side surfaces extending essentially normal to the base surface, wherein a guide groove is provided in each side surface. The lighting element is accommodated in the holding device, with a guide element of the holding arm engaging in the guide groove of the base body of the lighting element. The two guide elements of the holding device are arranged at different distances from the rear side, such that a first angle of 7° to 12° exists between a line parallel to the rear side through a guide element and a straight line between the two guide elements. The two guide grooves of the lighting element are also arranged at different distances from the base surface of the base body, such that a second angle of 7° to 12° exists between a line parallel to the base surface through a guide groove and a straight line between the two guide grooves.
[0011] The support structure is preferably designed as an extruded profile, particularly an aluminum profile. This has the advantage that complex shapes, such as the clamping device with the two clamping positions, can be manufactured easily and thus cost-effectively. To achieve stability, the support structure has a thickness that is kept minimal for weight and cost reasons. Thus, the front base surface and the rear surface are essentially spaced apart by this thickness.
[0012] The clamping device is preferably designed such that the support structure can be arranged on a shelf by placing the support structure with the suspension section on the shelf and holding it with the clamping device. By selecting the first or second clamping position, while maintaining the same arrangement of the suspension section, the inclination of the support structure relative to the shelf can be influenced.
[0013] According to a further development, the first and / or second angle is 10°. For clarification of the formation of the respective angle, please refer to the following figure description.
[0014] Another development involves the base surface forming a display area. For example, this could include a holder for a label or price tag, which can be inserted into the holder. Thus, the current lighting device, when arranged on a shelf, provides dual functionality. On the one hand, it illuminates the nearest, lower shelf, while simultaneously providing space to display product or label information to a viewer.
[0015] A further development in which the light element comprises a semiconductor component is advantageous. Such components have particularly compact dimensions, are highly energy-efficient, and therefore produce significantly less heat than conventional thermal radiators. This makes them particularly suitable for applications where a large amount of light needs to be emitted in a small space.
[0016] A further development involves the lighting element being designed as a strip-shaped element with a longitudinal extension. This design allows for particularly simple handling and configuration of the lighting device, since the arrangement of a strip-shaped lighting element in the holder allows the lighting device to be very quickly configured for a specific application.
[0017] In this regard, a further development is also advantageous, according to which the longitudinal extension of the support structure and the longitudinal extension of the lighting element are essentially the same. This further reduces the configuration effort, as the support structures and lighting elements are always perfectly matched, which in particular shortens the time required for assembling the lighting device.
[0018] A simple implementation of the electrical supply is achieved by, according to a further development, the lighting element having an electrical connection device on at least one end face. This allows the lighting element to be supplied with electrical energy, for example, via end plates attached to the side of the support structure. Current-carrying paths are located in or on the connection plates to connect each individual lighting device to a power source.
[0019] Similarly, it is also advantageous if, according to another possible embodiment, the guide elements and the guide grooves are designed as electrical contacts or have electrical contact sections. This allows for a substantially invisible supply of electrical energy to the lighting element. According to this embodiment, the current-carrying paths can be arranged on the rear side and connected to a power source, for example, via a contact device concealed on the shelf base.
[0020] A further development is that the height of the guide element protruding from the holding arm is greater than the depth of the guide groove extending into the base body. This development ensures that, despite a specific arrangement of the guide grooves or guide elements, the lamp is always reliably held in the holding device.
[0021] A further development consists in that, in a first arrangement, the lighting element is accommodated in the holding device in such a way that the first and second angles are aligned with the same orientation. Equally oriented means that, in a sectional view of the holding device and the lighting element, the points of intersection of the pairs of rays forming the angles are on the same holding arm and are approximately congruent. The two points of intersection are arranged on opposite holding arms. This development ensures that the base area of the lighting element is parallel to the back. The light emitted by the lighting device is therefore emitted at a right angle to the back or to the presentation surface.
[0022] A further development also consists in that, in a second arrangement, the lighting element is accommodated in the holding device such that the first and second angles are oriented in opposite directions. Analogous to the previous description of the angle reference, according to this embodiment, the base of the lighting element is pivoted by an angle of 20° relative to the rear of the support structure. The light emitted by the lighting device is therefore emitted at an angle of 20° relative to the rear, or relative to the presentation surface.
[0023] The refinement, in which the clamping device has an elastic section, has the advantage that a prefabricated lighting device can be retrofitted to a shelf at any time. The design with a first and second clamping position allows the support structure to be attached to the shelf at an angle that is optimal for the viewer.
[0024] For a better understanding of the invention, it is explained in more detail using the following figures.
[0025] They show in a highly simplified, schematic representation: Fig. 1 a schematic diagram of the lighting device in question to illustrate the angle references; Fig. 2a the subject lighting device with the lighting element in the second arrangement; Fig. 2b the subject lighting device with the lighting element in the first arrangement.
[0026] Fig. 1 shows the subject lighting device 1, comprising a support structure 2 with a front base surface 3, a clamping device 4 and a holding device 5 for receiving a lighting element 6. The clamping device 4 and the holding device 5 are formed on the rear side 7 of the base surface 3.
[0027] The support structure 2 is designed for arrangement on a shelf base (not shown). For this purpose, the support structure has a suspension section 8 and a clamping section 9, wherein the clamping section 9 has a first 10 and a second 11 clamping position. The suspension section 8 of the clamping device 4 and the holding device 5 are arranged opposite one another, at the respective ends of the rear side 7 of the support structure 2.
[0028] The holding device 5 has two holding arms 12 projecting beyond the rear side 7, each holding arm 12 having a guide element 13. The lighting element 6 has a base body 14 with a base surface 15 and two side surfaces 16 extending substantially perpendicular to the base surface 15. Arranged in each of these side surfaces 16 is a guide groove 17, which extends from the side surface 16 into the depth of the base body 14.
[0029] The two guide elements 13 of the holding device 5 are arranged at different distances from the rear side 7 of the support structure 2, so that a first angle of 7° to 12° is formed between a parallel line 18 to the rear side 7 through a guide element and a straight line 19 between the two opposing guide elements 13. According to a preferred embodiment, this first angle will be 10°.
[0030] Likewise, the guide grooves 17 of the base body 14 of the luminous element 6 are arranged at a different distance from the base surface 15 of the base body 14. Thus, a second angle 23 in the range of 7° to 12° is formed here between a parallel line 21 to the base surface 15 through a guide groove and a straight line 22 between the two opposite guide grooves 17. This second angle is preferably also 10°.
[0031] The particular advantage of the lighting device 1 in question is now in the Fig. 2a and Fig. 2b.
[0032] Fig. Figure 2a shows the subject lighting device in a second arrangement, wherein the lighting element 6 is received in the holding device 5 such that the first angle 20 and the second angle 23 are oriented in opposite directions. Light is emitted by the lighting element 6 in a main emission direction 24. In this second arrangement, the direction of the main emission direction 24 is pivoted by a sum angle 25 relative to the normal to the rear side 7, wherein the sum angle 25 corresponds to the sum of the first and second angles. In a preferred embodiment of the first and second angles at 10°, the sum angle 25 is thus 20°.
[0033] In the Fig. 2a also shows a shelf base 26, with the lighting device 1 in question arranged in the second clamping position 11 on the shelf base 26. For a correct representation, the figure would have to be rotated so that a surface 27 of the shelf base 26 is oriented horizontally.
[0034] Fig. Figure 2b shows the subject lighting device in the first arrangement, in which the lighting element 6 is arranged in the holding device 5 such that the first 20 and second 23 angles are aligned in the same direction. In this first arrangement, the main radiation direction 24 is aligned parallel to the normal to the rear side 7; the sum angle 25, the difference between the first 23 and second 24 angles, is thus 0 if the two angles are 10°, as before.
[0035] Fig.2b also shows a second possibility of arranging the subject lighting device 1 on a shelf base 26, wherein the shelf base 26 is arranged in a first clamping position 10 of the clamping device 4.
[0036] In contrast to known devices, the holding device 5 in the present lighting device 1 can be rigid and significantly simpler, since it does not need to be elastic to enable a change in the main emission direction 24 of the illuminant 6. According to the present embodiment, both the support structure 2 and the illuminant 6 have a longitudinal extension that is oriented perpendicular to the plane of the sheet.
[0037] Depending on the desired configuration (first or second arrangement), the luminous element 6 is inserted from one end of the support structure 2 into the holding device 5. Simply by changing the orientation of the luminous element 6, a radiation direction of 0 or 20° can be achieved, with 10° selected for the first 20 and second 23 angles.
[0038] This design has a particular advantage with regard to the longevity of the holding device 5, in particular with regard to a more cost-effective production of the supporting structure.
[0039] Finally, it should be noted that in the variously described embodiments, identical parts are provided with identical reference symbols or component designations, whereby the disclosures contained in the entire description can be applied mutatis mutandis to identical parts with identical reference symbols or component designations. Furthermore, the positional information chosen in the description, such as top, bottom, side, etc., refers to the directly described and illustrated figure, and these positional information must be applied mutatis mutandis to the new position in the event of a change in position.
