AI Technical Summary
Garden milling machines tend to dig into the ground during the milling process when the optimal angle of attack is not observed, making it difficult to maintain the ideal working position.
Equipping the garden milling machine with a sliding device, such as a plate-shaped part or skis, to facilitate gliding on the ground, and optionally incorporating wheels for mobility, ensuring the milling device is aligned correctly.
The sliding device allows for maintaining the optimal angle of attack, preventing the milling machine from digging into the ground and improving operational efficiency.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a garden milling machine, in particular for machining utility soils in gardens or other agricultural surfaces, wherein the garden milling machine is designed to be energy-operated and to be guided manually and has a frame structure, a drive motor, a milling device which is driven by the drive motor and is intended for machining the soils, and a guide device for guiding the garden milling machine and is designed to be selectively drivable or non-drivable.All garden cutters tend to dig into the ground during the milling operation. This effect is obtained when the optimal angle of attack of the garden milling cutter with respect to the ground to be machined is not observed during the machining operation. It is difficult and laborious to bring a garden milling machine operating with a continuous milling device and buried in the process back into the ideal working position. It is the object of the invention to further develop a garden milling cutter of the type mentioned at the beginning in such a way that the disadvantage just described can be avoided. The solution of the object is described in the characterizing part of claim 1.The utility model application present here is based on the document DE 20 2024 000 889 U1 of the applicant. In this respect, a new drawing illustration can be dispensed with here. The garden milling cutter is intended in particular for working utility soils in gardens or other agricultural areas. In a known manner, the garden milling machine is designed to be energy-operated, it can be guided by hand, it has a framework and a drive motor which drives a milling device intended for machining the soils, it has a guide device for guiding the garden milling machine and is designed to be selectively drivable or non-drivable.It is proposed to equip the garden milling machine with a sliding device for sliding onto the ground to be worked, wherein the sliding device is arranged in front of the milling device in the direction of movement or that the garden milling machine is equipped with at least one receiving device for the subsequent attachment of a sliding device. The sliding-on device has a plate-shaped part which either rises in the direction of movement and with respect to the ground surface or, with a corresponding shape of the plate, for example that of a ski, can also be arranged horizontally at least with a part of its supporting surface in the normal position of the garden milling machine. The direction of movement is the direction in which the garden milling machine is moving while the milling device is operating. The normal position of the garden milling cutter means that position as can be seen, for example, from a design drawing of the respective manufacturer. The garden milling cutter may comprise at least one impeller which is usually arranged centrally. The garden milling machine can, however, also be equipped with a respective impeller on its longitudinal sides. With the aid of the at least one running wheel, the garden milling machine is designed to be movable. The invention also includes all garden cutters which do not have such running wheels and therefore usually have to be carried for general transport. This is usually the case with small garden milling machines.References included in the specificationThis list of documents cited by the applicant has been produced in an automated manner and is only included for the better information of the reader. The list is not part of the German patent application or utility model application. The DPMA does not take any adhesion for any faults or omissions.Patent Literature citedDE 20 2024 000 889 U1
