Ergonomic headrest device with tool-free multi-position attachment for seat backs

Abstract

Head support device (1) for ergonomically supporting the head of a seated person, comprising a cushion body (2) with a support surface for supporting at least one head area, and a holding and insertion device (3) connected to the cushion body (2) for attachment to a seat structure arranged in front of the seated person, characterized in that the holding and insertion device (3) has several differently designed fastening elements that can be used alternatively or in combination for tool-free attachment to various seat structures, and that the holding device (3) has a guide device with at least two vertically spaced through-openings (10a, 10b) for receiving a holding or connecting element (4), wherein the through-openings (10a, 10b) are designed and spaced apart from each other,that together they provide a torsion-resistant guidance of the retaining or connecting element (4) relative to the cushion body (2) and thereby enable stable frontal or diagonal support of the head.
