Abstract

The present invention relates to polydithioacetal copolymers, preferably degradable or biodegradable, their manufacture process by radical polymerization, their uses, the use of dithiolactones as precursor co-monomers in radical polymerization, and dithiolactones for the preparation of said copolymer or for carrying out said process. More particularly, the present invention relates to a process for preparing copolymers, preferably degradable or biodegradable, by radical polymerization, notably employing at least one dithiolactone monomer and at least one monomer comprising an ethylenic unsaturation.
