Abstract

(1) The article to which the design relates (hereinafter, sometimes referred to as the "Article") is a pair of scissors used by barbers, hairdressers, groomers, etc. to cut human hair or pet hair. (2) That is, as shown in the reference exploded perspective view, reference perspective view, and reference cross-sectional view of the threaded portion, the moving blade 20 and the stationary blade 22 intersect with each other around a screw member 8 formed by threading a male screw 6 having central hollow portions 3, 1 with a female screw 2. When the handle portions 24, 26 having finger holes 32, 34 are closed, the scissors bodies 28, 29 overlap. (3) Specifically, the male screw 6 is a hollow, rivet-shaped member having slits 5 on all four sides of a circular tube 11, a male screw portion 7 with an outer thread groove, and a caldera-shaped flange portion 10. The flange 10 has recesses 12 on all four sides that engage with a tool for attachment and detachment. (4) On the other hand, the female screw 2 is a hollow rivet-shaped member consisting of a female screw portion 9 provided with a thread groove on the inside of a circular tube to screw with the male screw 7, and a caldera-shaped flange portion 14. Like the male screw 6, the flange 14 has recesses 16 on all four sides that engage with a tool for attachment and removal. (5) The moving blade 20 and the stationary blade 22 are screwed together with the screw members 2 and 6 via the resin ring 4, thereby minimizing play between the blades and allowing them to be opened and closed smoothly with little force. (6) The handle portion 24 of the moving blade 20 is provided with a stopper portion 30 that acts as a buffer member when it hits the stationary blade 22, and the handle portion 26 of the stationary blade is provided with a little finger hook 38 that protrudes in a hook-like shape on the side opposite the scissors body 29. (7) The handle portions 24, 26 of the moving blade 20 and the stationary blade 22 of this tool are provided with finger holes 32, 34 with intricately twisted, streamlined surfaces, and a branch-like bent knob 36 is provided between the finger holes 34 and the scissors body 29. (8) As a result, when the tool is viewed from the front, the opposite side can be seen through the hollow part of the screw member, giving it a delicate impression. (9) Furthermore, the moving blade and the stationary blade open and close using the hollow screw member as a fulcrum, giving it an intricate, mechanical appearance.(10) In addition, since the flange of the screw member has predetermined recesses on all four sides, the user can be made aware of the presence of the screw member, giving a more refined impression and contributing to improving the aesthetic appeal of the design. (11) Therefore, not only can it be used for cutting scissors, but also for thinning scissors, as shown in the reference perspective view of another embodiment, by making part of the stationary blade serrated, it can give a more sophisticated and refined impression.
