Description

[Technical Field]

[0001] This invention relates to a topical skin preparation. [Background technology]

[0002] Among various skin concerns, "deep wrinkles" that appear on the skin with age are a major worry for women. Wrinkles can be divided into "shallow wrinkles" caused by dryness or minor changes in the external environment, and "deep wrinkles" caused by factors such as photoaging or natural aging, which alter the components of the dermis. The former can be easily improved with skincare such as moisturizing, while the latter are known to be difficult to improve without appropriate beauty ingredients and skincare.

[0003] For skin concerns related to deep wrinkles, niacinamide is particularly known to be a vitamin with high safety and anti-aging effects on the skin (e.g., Patent Document 1). However, it is known that high concentrations of niacinamide can result in an undesirable squeaky feeling, and efforts have been made to improve this. Examples include oil-in-water emulsion cosmetics using silicone oil and polyoxyalkylene-modified glycerin derivatives (e.g., Patent Document 2), gel-type topical skin preparations using silicone oil, polyether-modified silicone, and carboxymethylcellulose (e.g., Patent Document 3), and leave-on skincare compositions using petrolatum (e.g., Patent Document 4). [Prior art documents] [Patent Documents]

[0004] [Patent Document 1] Patent No. 3922311 [Patent Document 2] International Publication No. 2021 / 201136 [Patent Document 3] Patent No. 7256624 [Patent Document 4] Special Publication No. 2003-502435 [Overview of the Initiative] [Problems that the invention aims to solve]

[0005] The conventional topical skin preparations described above improve the squeaky feeling caused by niacinamide using oil-based methods, but methods to improve this squeaky feeling without relying on oil have not been sufficiently investigated. Given this background, there is a need for topical skin preparations containing niacinamide that suppress the squeaky feeling.

[0006] This invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and its purpose is to provide a topical skin preparation containing niacinamide that suppresses the feeling of tightness. [Means for solving the problem]

[0007] The inventors of the present invention conducted diligent research to achieve the above objectives and, as a result, discovered that by combining niacinamide with one or more selected from polyvinylpyrrolidone, sodium polyacrylate, and xanthan gum, and one or more selected from acetylglucosamine, hyaluronic acid and its derivatives, and hydrolyzed collagen solution, it is possible to provide a topical skin preparation that does not cause any squeaking during use, has excellent moisturizing properties for the skin, and imparts firmness and elasticity to the skin, thus completing the present invention.

[0008] The topical skin preparation according to the present invention is a topical skin preparation containing the following (A) to (C). (A) Niacinamide 0.1-6% by mass (B) Select one from polyvinylpyrrolidone, sodium polyacrylate, and xanthan gum. One or more species, 0.01-1.0% by mass (C) One or more selected from acetylglucosamine, hyaluronic acid and its derivatives, and hydrolyzed collagen solution, 0.0001-0.5% by mass

[0009] The topical skin preparation according to the present invention may contain the following (D). (D) One or more vitamins selected from vitamins A, B (excluding component (A)), C, E and their derivatives: 0.0001-0.5% by mass [Effects of the Invention]

[0010] This invention makes it possible to suppress the squeaky feeling caused by niacinamide. [Modes for carrying out the invention]

[0011] The following describes in detail the topical skin preparation according to this embodiment, but the present invention is not limited to the following embodiments. The present invention is not limited to the configurations described below, and various modifications are possible within the scope of the claims, and embodiments and examples obtained by appropriately combining the technical means disclosed in different embodiments and examples are also included in the technical scope of the present invention. Furthermore, unless otherwise specified in this specification, "A~B" representing a numerical range means "A or more, B or less".

[0012] The topical skin preparation according to this embodiment contains (A) niacinamide, (B) one or more selected from polyvinylpyrrolidone, sodium polyacrylate, and xanthan gum, and (C) one or more selected from acetylglucosamine, hyaluronic acid and its derivatives, and hydrolyzed collagen solution.

[0013] <(A) Niacinamide> Component (A) used in the topical skin preparation according to this embodiment is niacinamide. Niacinamide is one of the B vitamins, which are water-soluble vitamins, and is also called nicotinamide. Niacinamide can be used without particular restrictions as long as it is commonly used in pharmaceuticals, quasi-drugs, and cosmetics, and these may be natural or synthetic. Niacinamide is known to have effects such as wrinkle improvement, blood circulation promotion, rough skin improvement, melanin production inhibition, and skin whitening.

[0014] Niacinamide is available as a commercially available cosmetic raw material. Examples of commercially available products include "Niacinamide USP PC (manufactured by Arcsada Japan)" and "Nicotinamide (manufactured by DSM)".

[0015] The skin external preparation according to this embodiment contains niacinamide as component (A) and one or more selected from (B) polyvinylpyrrolidone, sodium polyacrylate, and xanthan gum described later, thereby synergistically improving the moisturizing effect. Further, by containing one or more selected from (C) acetylglucosamine, hyaluronic acid and its derivatives, and hydrolyzed collagen solution described later, the firming elasticity effect of the skin is synergistically improved.

[0016] The blending amount of component (A) is 0.1 to 6% by mass in the total mass of the skin external preparation, preferably 0.5 to 5% by mass. If the blending amount of component (A) is 0.1% by mass or more, a sufficient moisturizing effect and an improvement effect on the firming elasticity of the skin can be obtained. On the other hand, if the blending amount of component (A) is 6% by mass or less, it is possible to suppress a harsh feeling by combining with component (C) described later.

[0017] <One or more selected from (B) polyvinylpyrrolidone, sodium polyacrylate, and xanthan gum> Component (B) used in the skin external preparation according to this embodiment is one or more selected from polyvinylpyrrolidone, sodium polyacrylate, and xanthan gum.

[0018] Polyvinylpyrrolidone is a polymer compound obtained by polymerizing N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone and is not particularly limited as long as it is used in ordinary cosmetics, and can be used even if it is natural, semi-synthetic, or synthetic. As the degree of polymerization increases, the molecular weight increases. In the present invention, from the viewpoints of formulation stability, non-stickiness of the film, wrinkle improvement effect, and improvement of makeup effect, the weight average molecular weight is preferably 900,000 to 2,000,000, more preferably 1,200,000 to 1,700,000. These molecular weights refer to the weight average molecular weight measured by the SEC method.

[0019] Sodium polyacrylate is a polymer of acrylic acid, which has extremely strong hygroscopicity. When water is added, it gradually swells and has the property of becoming a uniform viscous solution through a transparent gel. In cosmetics, it is used for the purpose of hydrophilic thickening and is known to contribute to skin moisturization and a moist feeling. Regarding the weight average molecular weight, it is preferably 1 million to 10 million, more preferably 1.5 million to 8 million, and even more preferably 2 million to 6 million.

[0020] Xanthan gum is a polysaccharide obtained by fermenting hydrocarbons with Xanthomonas bacteria and is composed of glucose, mannose, glucuronic acid, etc. Xanthan gum is excellent in water retention, viscosity, elasticity, and gelling properties. In addition to being a stabilizer for milk products, etc., it is widely used as a laxative, surfactant dispersant, etc., and as a raw material for food, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals.

[0021] The component (B) in the external preparation for skin according to this embodiment gives moisture (moisturizing effect) to the skin.

[0022] The blending amount of the component (B) is 0.01 to 1.0% by mass in the total mass of the external preparation for skin, and preferably 0.02 to 0.6% by mass. If the blending amount of the component (B) is 0.01% by mass or more, a sufficient moisturizing effect can be obtained. On the other hand, if the blending amount of the component (B) is 1.0% by mass or less, stickiness can be suppressed. When two or more of polyvinylpyrrolidone, sodium polyacrylate, and xanthan gum are used as the component (B) of the external preparation for skin, the blending amount of the component (B) is the total amount thereof.

[0023] <One or more selected from (C) acetylglucosamine, hyaluronic acid and its derivatives, and hydrolyzed collagen solution> The component (C) used in the external preparation for skin according to this embodiment is one or more selected from acetylglucosamine, hyaluronic acid and its derivatives, and hydrolyzed collagen solution.

[0024] Acetylglucosamine is a monosaccharide in which the hydroxyl group at the 2 position of glucose is replaced with an acetylamino group. It can be produced from any source, including synthetic compounds, fermentation products, or degradation products obtained from the chitin breakdown of crabs, shrimp, etc., and is not particularly limited to any specific source. When obtained from crustaceans such as crabs and shrimp, it can be prepared by using chitin, a polysaccharide prepared from their shells, as a raw material, partially hydrolyzing it with acid, and then further decomposing it with an enzyme such as chitinase.

[0025] Hyaluronic acid is a type of acidic mucopolysaccharide, a polysaccharide containing glucuronic acid and N-acetylglucosamine as constituent units. Hyaluronic acid can be extracted and recovered from animal tissues such as chicken combs, shark skin, umbilical cords, eyeballs, skin, and cartilage, hyaluronic acid-producing microorganisms such as Streptococcus microorganisms, and cultures of animal or plant cells. It can also be purchased commercially. Furthermore, a derivative of hyaluronic acid described above may be used as component (C) of the topical skin preparation according to this embodiment. Examples of hyaluronic acid derivatives include: Examples include derivatives obtained by etherification, esterification, acetylation, amidation, acetalization, and ketalization of the hydroxyl and carboxyl groups of hyaluronic acid, specifically acetylated hyaluronic acid and cationized hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid and hyaluronic acid derivatives may also be salts of sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, ammonium, basic amino acid, or zinc salts.

[0026] Hydrolyzed collagen solution is a hydrolyzed product obtained by hydrolyzing collagen, a protein that mainly constitutes the dermis, ligaments, tendons, bones, and cartilage of vertebrates, in the presence of alkali, acid, or enzymes according to conventional methods. Sources of collagen for obtaining hydrolyzed collagen solution include animals (cattle, pigs, birds, etc.), fish (tilapia, etc.), shellfish, jellyfish, and sponges.

[0027] In the topical skin preparation according to this embodiment, component (C), when included with component (A), suppresses tightness and further synergistically improves the skin's firmness and elasticity.

[0028] The amount of component (C) is 0.0001 to 0.5% by mass of the total mass of the topical skin preparation, preferably 0.001 to 0.1% by mass. If the amount of component (C) is 0.0001% by mass or more, squeaking can be sufficiently suppressed. On the other hand, if the amount of component (C) is 0.5% by mass or less, unpleasant odors derived from component (C) can be suppressed. When two or more of acetylglucosamine, hyaluronic acid and its derivatives, and hydrolyzed collagen solution are used as component (C) of the topical skin preparation, the amount of component (C) is the sum of their amounts.

[0029] The topical skin preparation according to this embodiment contains (A) 0.1 to 6% by mass of niacinamide, (B) 0.01 to 1.0% by mass of one or more selected from polyvinylpyrrolidone, sodium polyacrylate, and xanthan gum, and (C) 0.0001 to 0.5% by mass of one or more selected from acetylglucosamine, hyaluronic acid and its derivatives, and hydrolyzed collagen solution. This suppresses the squeaky feeling caused by niacinamide and further provides moisture and firmness to the skin.

[0030] <(D) One or more selected from vitamins A, B (excluding the component in (A) above), C, E and their derivatives> The topical skin preparation according to this embodiment may optionally contain, as component (D), one or more selected from vitamins A, B (excluding component (A) above), C, E and their derivatives.

[0031] The topical skin preparation according to this embodiment synergistically improves the skin's firmness and elasticity by containing component (D).

[0032] If the topical skin preparation according to this embodiment contains component (D), the amount of component (D) is preferably 0.0001 to 0.5% by mass, and more preferably 0.001 to 0.1% by mass, of the total mass of the topical skin preparation. If the amount of component (D) is 0.0001% by mass or more, firmness and elasticity can be further improved. On the other hand, if the amount of component (D) is 0.5% by mass or less, unpleasant odors derived from component (D) can be suppressed. In the case where two or more vitamins A, B, C, E and their derivatives are used as component (D) of the topical skin preparation, the amount of component (D) is the total amount of those vitamins.

[0033] <Other ingredients> In addition to the components described above, the topical skin preparation according to this embodiment may contain other components, such as anionic surfactants, cationic surfactants, and amphoteric surfactants, to the extent that they do not impair the objectives of the present invention. Ingredients such as nonionic surfactants, oils, polymer compounds, thickeners, powders (dyes, resins, pigments), preservatives, fragrances, humectants, physiologically active ingredients, mineral salts, solvents, antioxidants, chelating agents, pearlescent agents, neutralizing agents, pH adjusters, plant extracts, and enzymes can be appropriately blended.

[0034] Furthermore, the topical skin preparation according to this embodiment may contain physiologically active ingredients as appropriate, as long as it does not impair the objectives of the present invention. Physiologically active substances are substances that, when applied to the skin, provide some kind of physiological activity to the skin. Afterward, appropriate amounts of the topical skin preparations of the examples and comparative examples of the present invention were applied, and sensory evaluations were conducted on the feeling of tightness in the skin during and after use, using the following scoring method. The evaluation criteria were based on the average value of the sum of the scores given by five participants regarding the lack of tightness, and were classified as follows. <Rating and content regarding the lack of creaking> 5 points... I don't feel any tightness or dryness on my skin during or after use. 4 points... I felt a slight tightness in my skin during and after use. 3 points... I felt a slight tightness in my skin during and after use. Two points... I feel a tightness in my skin during and after use. 1. I felt a strong, unpleasant tightness on my skin during and after use. (Evaluation criteria for lack of creaking) ◎: Excellent. The average score of the five participants was 4 points or higher. ○: Good. The average score of the 5 students was between 3 and 4 points. △: Slightly poor. The average score of the 5 participants was between 2 and 3 points. ×: Bad. The average score of the 5 students was less than 2 points.

[0038] 2. Skin moisture evaluation test For the evaluation panel of 10 participants, the forearms were washed with lukewarm water and then acclimatized for 20 minutes at a temperature of 25°C and a relative humidity of 50%. Afterward, appropriate amounts of the topical skin preparations of the examples and comparative examples of the present invention were applied, and the areas were again acclimatized for 20 minutes at a temperature of 25°C and a relative humidity of 50%. The stratum corneum moisture content (conductance value) was then measured using a Corneometer (MPA580, Courage+Khazaka). The moisturizing effect was evaluated by calculating the moisturizing effect (%) using the following formula, determining the average value for 5 participants, and then judging based on the following criteria. <Rating regarding skin moisturizing effect> Moisturizing effect (%) = (Skin stratum corneum moisture content after application / Stratum corneum moisture content before application) × 100 (Evaluation criteria for skin moisturizing effect) ◎: Moisturizing effect (%) was 150% or higher. ○: The moisturizing effect (%) was between 120% and 150%. △: Moisturizing effect (%) was between 100% and 120%. ×: The moisturizing effect (%) was less than 100%.

[0039] 3. Evaluation test of skin firmness and elasticity Ten expert panel members had their cheeks washed with soap, then acclimatized for 20 minutes in an environment of 25°C and 50% relative humidity, after which they applied 0.1 mL / cm³ of the aftershave agent according to the examples and comparative examples of the present invention to their cheeks. 2The product was applied. After application, the skin was allowed to acclimate for 60 minutes at a temperature of 25°C and a relative humidity of 50%, and the viscoelasticity of the skin was measured using a cutometer (MPA580, Courage+Khazaka).
