Distributed command execution in a multi-location studio environment

Abstract

To provide a content production management system and management method in a distributed studio environment, configured to facilitate remote command and control via distributed, synchronized command queues.SOLUTION: A content production management system 102 within a distributed studio environment 100 includes: a command interface module configured to render a user interface for a set of cameras or control devices associated with a set of content production volumes within the distributed studio environment; and a command queue management module configured, upon execution of software instructions, to receive, from the command interface module, a command targeting a target camera or control device, according to a synchronized execution time assigned to the command, enqueue the command into a command queue associated with the target camera or control device, and enable the camera or control device to execute the command from the command queue according to the synchronized execution time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
