Abstract

To provide an oil-in-water type emulsion composition having excellent stability and less stickiness, and to provide a cosmetic comprising the composition.SOLUTION: There is provided an oil-in-water type emulsion composition which comprises the following components (A) to (F), wherein the mass ratio ((C+D) / (A+B)) of the total content of the component (C) and the component (D) to the total content of the component (A) and the component (B) is 0.05 to 9.5 and the content of the component (E) is 4 to 32 mass%. Component (A): one or more types selected from the group consisting of a polyglycerol fatty acid diester comprising a fatty acid having 14 to 18 carbon atoms and a polyglycerol having an average polymerization degree of 6 to 14 and a polyglycerol fatty acid triester comprising a fatty acid having 14 to 18 carbon atoms and a polyglycerol having an average polymerization degree of 6 to 14, Component (B): one or more types selected from the group consisting of a polyglycerol fatty acid ester comprising a fatty acid having 8 to 12 carbon atoms and a polyglycerol having an average polymerization degree of 2 to 6 and a glycerol fatty acid ester comprising a fatty acid having 10 to 22 carbon atoms and glycerol, Component (C): an ultraviolet absorber, Component (D): an oil solution, Component (E): a polyhydric alcohol and Component (F): water.SELECTED DRAWING: None
