Watercraft stabilizing system and method of counteracting watercraft movement due to an incoming wave

Abstract

The invention relates to a system for stabilizing a vessel or craft, such as a tender servicing e.g. a yacht or ship. A device for counteracting movement of the vessel or craft as a result of an incoming wave of water is used, in accordance With instructions from a controller. The controller generates the instructions based on a sensor that registers a wave that is incoming, and based on a predictive model, that predicts movement of the vessel as a result of the wave. A similar method is disclosed.
