Abstract

Evegrocer – a sustainable supply chain that promotes circular supply chain through reverse logistics and IOT-powered reusable containers has designed a utility model to streamline an innovative system and method for converting Supply chain food waste into Bioenergy while capturing and storing carbon emissions to achieve a net-negative carbon impact. The facility integrates advanced anaerobic digestion technology to process organic waste into biogas, consisting primarily of methane (CH4) and carbon dioxide (CO2). The biogas is upgraded to separate methane for energy generation and CO2 for sequestration. The system includes modular components for waste intake, pre-treatment, digestion, biogas purification, energy generation, and carbon storage, designed to handle variable waste compositions from retail, wholesale, and logistics sources efficiently. Additionally, the system incorporates IoT sensors for real-time monitoring, optimizing operational performance, and ensuring compliance with environmental standards. This utility model addresses the dual challenges of food waste management and greenhouse gas emissions by creating a circular economy solution that transforms waste into renewable energy while contributing to global decarbonization goals.
