Abstract

An interdental brush particularly suited for use to clean between adjacent teeth, comprising a handle having a body and an end portion and a brush portion. The brush portion comprises an elongate stem having a distal bristled portion including a plurality of bristles extending from the elongate stem and a proximal root portion to be embedded in the handle to secure the brush portion to the handle. The root portion of the elongate stem is embedded in the end portion such that the brush portion projects from the end portion of the handle. The end portion may be resiliently flexible to distribute bending deformation along the stem including the root portion of the stem within the neck during use of the interdental brush.
