One of the key areas which can significantly improve the dining experience for a customer is real-time monitoring of restaurant services. Traditionally, restaurants have been relying on manual methods for monitoring restaurant services, which are inherently limited and time-consuming. The manual methods are plagued with inefficiencies and limitations that hinder both operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
[0004] Manual monitoring often relies on periodic checks or observations, leading to limited visibility into ongoing operations. This can result in delayed responses to customer needs, service bottlenecks and missed opportunities to address issues promptly in real-time. Moreover, manual monitoring processes are susceptible to human error, such as data entry mistakes and miscommunication between staff members. Further, in the absence of real-time data insights, restaurants maystruggle to allocate resources such as staffing levels, inventory management and table turnover optimization, effectively. This leads to underutilization or overburdening of resources based on inaccurate assessments. Additionally, manual monitoring and management make it challenging to track performance metrics such as wait times, order accuracy, customer feedback and service responsiveness in real-time. The lack of timely feedback loops hinders the ability to identify areas for improvement and to implement corrective actions promptly.

Manual monitoring may miss opportunities to gather and utilize customer data in real-time for personalized recommendations, special offers and tailored services that enhance overall satisfaction and loyalty. The method includes scanning a QR Code displayed in the Al enabled digital loT device using the customer’s mobile device. Further, the method includes accessing the menu by the customer by scanning the QR code using the mobile device. Additionally, the method includes placing an order by a customer using his mobile device or by summoning a waiter through the Al enabled digital loT device.

CLAIMS1. A method for real-time monitoring and management of services provided by a restaurant using an Al enabled digital loT device, comprising: scanning a QR Code displayed in the Al enabled digital loT device, by a customer for accessing Wi-Fi provided by the restaurant and for accessing the menu and placing an order using a mobile device; displaying on the Al enabled digital loT device, name of the customer, advance reservation status of a table and multimedia content regarding special occasions upon customer request; displaying on the Al enabled digital loT device by the restaurant, notifications on best-selling items, curated selection of food and drinks and third-party merchandise; placing a request, by the customer, on the Al enabled digital loT device to a waiter for availing services including dining service, mobile charging service, or room service; displaying on the Al enabled digital loT device by the restaurant the order status; providing in the Al enabled digital loT device, by a customer, real-time ratings and feedback about ongoing restaurant service, including escalation of grievances to a restaurant manager for corrective action; placing a request, by the customer, on the Al enabled digital loT device for checkout, billing and payment assistance from a waiter; providing, by the customer a review of the restaurant services after the completion of restaurant services using the mobile device; placing a request, by the customer, on the Al enabled digital loT device to a valet service provided by the restaurant for retrieval of a vehicle;displaying on the Al enabled digital device by the restaurant, notifications on status of the vehicle parked in a valet service provided by the restaurant; displaying on a centralized digital dashboard, real-time data and actionable insights and reports on the service provided by the restaurant including response time of the waiters, customer history, reviews and real-time ratings about the ongoing dining experience by the customers thereby enabling the restaurant management to address customer complaints in real-time; analyzing, by an Al engine in the Al enabled digital loT device, customer preferences, past orders and real-time feedback to generate personalized menu suggestions and service recommendations; and predicting, by the Al engine in the Al enabled digital loT device, customer requirements during the ongoing dining experience for proactive service delivery by the restaurant staff.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein customer post-dining ratings are used to generate an Al drafted review, and a QR code is displayed allowing the customer to post the review directly to a public review platform.
3. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein placing of the request on the Al enabled digital loT device to a waiter for dining service includes, order cancellation within a predefined time.
4. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein request to a restaurant staff and the status of the requests are indicated by different coloured lights on the Al enabled digital loT device.

A system for real-time monitoring and management of services provided by a restaurant using an Al enabled digital loT device, comprising: one or more processors;one or more Al enabled digital loT device having memory storing instructions that when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to: scan a QR Code displayed in the Al enabled digital loT device, by a customer for accessing Wi-Fi provided by the restaurant, for accessing the menu and placing an order using a mobile device; display on the Al enabled digital loT device, name of the customer, advance reservation status of a table and multimedia content regarding special occasions on request of the customer: display on the Al enabled digital device by the restaurant, notifications on best-selling items, curated selection of food and drinks and third-party merchandise; place a request, by the customer, on the Al enabled digital loT device to a waiter for availing at least one of dining service, mobile charging service; display on the Al enabled digital loT device by the restaurant the order status; provide on the Al enabled digital loT device, by a customer real-time ratings and feedback about ongoing restaurant service, including escalation of grievances to a restaurant manager for corrective action; place a request, by the customer, on the Al enabled digital loT device for checkout, billing and payment assistance from a waiter; provide, by the customer a review of the restaurant services after the completion of restaurant services using the mobile device; place a request, by the customer, on the Al enabled digital loT device to a valet service provided by the restaurant for retrieval of a vehicle;display on the Al enabled digital device, notifications on status of vehicle parked in a valet service provided by the restaurant; display on a centralized digital dashboard real-time data and actionable insights and reports on the service provided by the restaurant including response time of the waiters, customer history, reviews and real-time ratings on ongoing dining experience by the customers thereby enabling the restaurant management to address customer complaints in real-time; analyze, using the Al engine in the Al enabled digital loT device, customer preferences, past behavior, and real-time feedback to generate personalized menu suggestions and service recommendations; and predict, using the Al engine in the Al enabled digital loT device, customer requirements in real-time to enable proactive service delivery by restaurant staff.
6. The system of claim 5, wherein the Al engine in the Al enabled digital loT device generates a review draft based on customer ratings and displays a QR code allowing immediate online review submission.
7. The system as claimed in claim 5, wherein placing of the request on the Al enabled digital loT device to a waiter for dining service includes, order cancellation within a predefined time.
8. The system as claimed in claim 5, wherein placing requests to a restaurant staff and the status of the requests are indicated by different coloured lights on the Al enabled digital loT device.
