Abstract

The present application relates to the technical field of communications, and in particular, to a data transmission method and apparatus, with the aim of ensuring data transmission continuity, reducing wasted resources caused by disaster recovery backups, and reducing network deployment challenges and costs. The method, which may be executed by an orchestration apparatus, comprises: receiving interruption information, wherein the interruption information comprises first path indicating information and an identifier of a faulty node, and the first path indicating information is used for indicating a first data link for data transmission; sending second path indicating information and second hop count indicating information according to the interruption information, the second path indicating information being used for indicating a second data link, and the second hop count indicating information being used for indicating a remaining hop count corresponding to data transmission on the second data link, wherein the second data link does not comprise a faulty node, or a data exchange node corresponding to the second data link is not a faulty node.
