Abstract

The invention relates to a locatable watch and methods for locating the watch. The watch has a permanent digital time display and comprises: a wristband (1) for attaching the watch to a user's wrist, a housing (2) attached to the wristband and containing means for displaying (4) time information in digital format, an electronic circuit (8) powered by a means for storing electrical energy (6) and configured to generate an identification signal representing identification information of the watch. The housing also includes an antenna (9) connected to the electronic circuit (8) and configured to receive the identification signal and wirelessly transmit an electromagnetic signal representing identification information of the watch to a device separate from the watch.The antenna (9) is located in the housing (2), which also includes a part that covers the antenna and is made of a material that is transparent to the electromagnetic signal.
