Newness and distinctiveness are claimed in the visual appearance and configuration of the magnetic mounting system, including the circular magnetic puck, circular mounting plate, low-profile construction, and integrated fastening arrangement as illustrated in the representations. The design provides an alternative visual configuration to conventional vehicle window shade attachment systems commonly utilising suction cup mounting arrangements.
