Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a blood pressure measuring device for measuring blood pressure. Background Art
[0002] In recent years, blood pressure measuring devices for measuring blood pressure have been used not only in medical equipment but also in homes as a way to check health status. For example, a blood pressure measuring device inflates and deflates a cuff wrapped around an upper arm or wrist of a living body, senses the pressure of the cuff through a pressure sensor, and thereby detects the vibration of the arterial wall to measure blood pressure.
[0003] As such a blood pressure measuring device, for example, a so-called integrated blood pressure measuring device is known in which a cuff and a device body for supplying fluid to the cuff are integrally formed. Such a blood pressure measuring device has the following problem: when wrinkles or bends are generated in the cuff, the accuracy of the measured blood pressure measurement result is reduced. In addition, the blood pressure measuring device is also required to expand the cuff in the compression direction of the blood vessel and make the cuff fit the wrist tightly.
[0004] Therefore, as disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2018-102743, a technique is known in which a collar is used between a belt and a cuff in a blood pressure measuring device to make the inflated cuff fit tightly against the upper arm or wrist. The collar has, for example, a shape along the circumferential shape of the upper arm or wrist, and the cuff is arranged on the inner circumferential surface. In addition, the collar is made of a relatively hard material that can be deformed in a manner that fits the circumferential shape and thickness of the upper arm or wrist by tightening it with the belt when the blood pressure measuring device is worn, and can suppress deformation due to the expansion of the cuff.
[0005] This collar makes the cuff appropriately compress the wrist when the cuff expands, so that the bulging part of the cuff is concentrated in the compression direction of the blood vessel. In addition, the collar prevents wrinkles, folds, etc. from being generated in the cuff.
[0006] Furthermore, as a method for joining the collar and the cuff, joining using an adhesive layer such as a double-sided tape or an adhesive, or joining using other members such as sewing or riveting is known.

[0009] Patent Document 1: Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 2018-102743 Summary of the invention
[0010] Problem that the invention aims to solve
[0011] The above-mentioned blood pressure measuring device has recently been considered as a wearable device worn on the wrist. Such a wearable device is required to be further miniaturized. In particular, if it is assumed that the blood pressure monitor is often worn for use, the blood pressure measuring device is required to be miniaturized like a wristwatch.
[0012] However, when bonding using adhesive layers and other components, the bonding portion needs to be set on the cuff or the collar, and the size and shape of the cuff and the collar will become larger. As a result, the size and shape of the blood pressure measuring device become larger due to the adhesive layer and other components, making it difficult to miniaturize the blood pressure measuring device.
[0013] Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a blood pressure measurement device that can be miniaturized.
[0014] Technical Solution
[0015] According to one embodiment, a blood pressure measuring device is provided, comprising: a cuff structure formed of a resin material and expanded by a fluid; and a collar bent in the circumferential direction of a wearing part of a biological body, the collar being fused to the cuff structure and being formed of the same material as the resin material forming the cuff structure at least at a part thereof.
[0016] Here, the fluid includes liquid and air. The cuff is a member that is wrapped around the upper arm, wrist, etc. of a living body when measuring blood pressure and expands when a fluid is supplied, and includes a bag-like structure such as an air bag.
[0017] In addition, the same type of materials refers to two materials that are well compatible in thermal welding and have the same or similar softening temperatures. Compatibility refers to the degree to which softened or melted resin materials mix with each other during welding, and good compatibility means that the degree to which softened or melted resin materials mix with each other during welding is appropriate for bonding, that is, bonding can be performed with the required bonding strength.
[0018] According to this scheme, the cuff structure and the collar can be properly joined by welding by heat, so the cuff structure can be firmly joined to the collar. In addition, the cuff structure and the collar can be directly joined by welding by heat, so there is no need to set up a joint part separately, and there is no need to use other components to join the cuff structure and the collar by sewing or the like. The outer shape can be prevented from becoming larger due to the joint part and other components, so the blood pressure measurement device can be miniaturized.
[0019] In the blood pressure measurement device according to the above-mentioned aspect, there is provided a blood pressure measurement device wherein the collar is formed of the same material as a resin material constituting the cuff structure.
[0020] According to this scheme, the collar can be formed by a resin material, so it is easy to manufacture. In addition, all parts of the collar can be welded to the cuff structure by heat, so there is a high degree of freedom in the design of the welded parts.
[0021] In the blood pressure measuring device of one of the above-mentioned schemes, a blood pressure measuring device is provided, wherein the clamping ring comprises: a first portion, which is arranged at a portion welded to the cuff structure and is composed of the same material as the material constituting the cuff structure; and a second portion, which is integrally formed with the first portion and is composed of a material harder than the first portion.
[0022] According to this aspect, the collar and the cuff structure can be thermally welded at the first portion, and the function required of the collar can be obtained at the second portion, so that a high degree of freedom is provided in the selection of materials.
[0023] In the blood pressure measurement device according to the above-mentioned aspect, there is provided a blood pressure measurement device wherein the cuff structure is welded to an inner peripheral surface of the collar.
[0024] According to this aspect, even if the cuff structure is set to be smaller than or equal to the size of the collar in the width direction, the cuff structure can be joined to the collar, and the blood pressure measurement device can be miniaturized.
[0025] In the blood pressure measurement device of the above aspect, there is provided a blood pressure measurement device wherein the cuff structure has a joining piece welded to a part of the outer peripheral surface of the collar at an edge in the width direction and arranged on the inner peripheral surface of the collar.
[0026] According to this scheme, a joining piece can be provided on a part of the cuff structure, and the joining piece can be folded back toward the outer peripheral surface of the clamp ring and joined to the outer peripheral surface of the clamp ring. Therefore, even if the cuff structure is welded to the outer peripheral surface of the clamp ring, the increase in the width direction of the clamp ring can be suppressed, and the blood pressure measurement device can be miniaturized.

Fig.12 This is an explanatory diagram showing a configuration when the cuff structure 6 is inflated in a state where the blood pressure measurement device 1 is worn on the wrist 200 . Fig.13 It is used Figure 7 The section taken along line XIII-XIII is a cross-sectional view showing the configuration when the cuff structure 6 is inflated in a state where the blood pressure measurement device 1 is worn on a wrist.
[0058] The blood pressure measurement device 1 is an electronic blood pressure measurement device that is worn on a living body. In this embodiment, an electronic blood pressure measurement device having a wearable device mode that is worn on a wrist 200 of a living body is used for description.
[0059] like Figures 1 to 3 As shown, the blood pressure measuring device 1 comprises: a device body 3; a belt 4 for fixing the device body 3 to the wrist; a collar 5 arranged between the belt 4 and the wrist; a cuff structure 6 having a palm cuff 71, a sensing cuff 73 and a dorsal cuff 74; and a fluid circuit 7 for fluidly connecting the device body 3 and the cuff structure 6.
[0060] like Figures 1 to 5As shown, the device body 3 includes, for example, a housing 11, a display unit 12, an operation unit 13, a pump 14, a flow path unit 15, an on-off valve 16, a pressure sensor 17, a power supply unit 18, a vibration motor 19, and a control substrate 20. The device body 3 supplies fluid to the cuff structure 6 through the pump 14, the on-off valve 16, the pressure sensor 17, the control substrate 20, and the like.
[0061] like Figures 1 to 3 As shown, the housing 11 includes: a profile housing 31 ; a windshield 32 covering the upper opening of the profile housing 31 ; a base 33 provided at the lower part of the interior of the profile housing 31 ; and a back cover 35 covering the lower part of the profile housing 31 .
[0062] The outer shell 31 is formed in a cylindrical shape. The outer shell 31 includes a pair of ears 31a provided at symmetrical positions in the circumferential direction of the outer peripheral surface and a spring rod 31b provided between the two pairs of ears 31a. The windshield 32 is, for example, a circular glass plate.
[0063] The base 33 holds the display unit 12, the operation unit 13, the pump 14, the on-off valve 16, the pressure sensor 17, the power supply unit 18, the vibration motor 19, and the control board 20. The base 33 constitutes a part of the flow path 15 that fluidically connects the pump 14 and the cuff structure 6, for example.
[0064] The back cover 35 covers the end of the outer shell 31 on the living body side. The back cover 35 is fixed to the end of the outer shell 31 or the base 33 on the living body side by, for example, four screws 35a.
[0065] The display unit 12 is disposed above the base 33 of the outer shell 31 and immediately below the windshield 32. Figure 5 As shown, the display unit 12 is electrically connected to the control substrate 20. The display unit 12 is, for example, a liquid crystal display or an organic electroluminescent display. The display unit 12 displays various information including date and time, blood pressure values such as the highest blood pressure and the lowest blood pressure, and measurement results such as heart rate.
[0066] The operation unit 13 is configured to be able to input instructions from the user. Figure 5 As shown in FIG. 1 , the operation unit 13 includes a plurality of buttons 41 provided on the housing 11, a sensor 42 for detecting the operation of the buttons 41, and a touch panel 43 provided on the display unit 12 or the windshield 32. The operation unit 13 is operated by the user to convert the command into an electrical signal. The sensor 42 and the touch panel 43 are electrically connected to the control substrate 20 and output the electrical signal to the control substrate 20.
[0067] For example, three buttons 41 are provided. The buttons 41 are supported by the base 33 and protrude from the outer peripheral surface of the outer shell 31. The buttons 41 and the sensors 42 are supported by the base 33. The touch panel 43 is provided integrally with the windshield 32, for example.
[0068] The pump 14 is, for example, a piezoelectric pump. The pump 14 compresses air and supplies the compressed air to the cuff structure 6 via the flow path 15. The pump 14 is electrically connected to the control board 20.
[0069] like Figure 5 As shown, the flow path portion 15 constitutes a flow path connected from the pump 14 to the palm cuff 71 and the dorsal cuff 74, and a flow path connected from the pump 14 to the sensing cuff 73. In addition, the flow path portion 15 constitutes a flow path connected from the palm cuff 71 and the dorsal cuff 74 to the atmosphere, and a flow path connected from the sensing cuff 73 to the atmosphere. The flow path portion 15 is an air flow path constituted by a hollow portion, a groove, a tube, etc. provided in the base 33, etc.
[0070] The on-off valve 16 opens and closes a portion of the flow path 15. For example, Figure 5 As shown, a plurality of on-off valves 16 are provided, and the flow path from the pump 14 to the palm cuff 71 and the dorsal cuff 74, the flow path from the pump 14 to the sensing cuff 73, the flow path from the palm cuff 71 and the dorsal cuff 74 to the atmosphere, and the flow path from the sensing cuff 73 to the atmosphere are selectively opened and closed by opening and closing the respective on-off valves 16. For example, two on-off valves 16 are used.
[0071] The pressure sensor 17 detects the pressure of the palm cuff 71, the sensing cuff 73, and the dorsal cuff 74. The pressure sensor 17 is electrically connected to the control substrate 20. The pressure sensor 17 converts the detected pressure into an electrical signal and outputs it to the control substrate 20. For example, Figure 5 As shown, the pressure sensor 17 is provided in the flow path connected from the pump 14 to the palm cuff 71 and the dorsal cuff 74 and the flow path connected from the pump 14 to the sensing cuff 73. These flow paths are connected to the palm cuff 71, the sensing cuff 73 and the dorsal cuff 74, so the pressure in these flow paths becomes the pressure of the internal space of the palm cuff 71, the sensing cuff 73 and the dorsal cuff 74.
[0072] The power supply unit 18 is, for example, a secondary battery such as a lithium ion battery. The power supply unit 18 is electrically connected to the control board 20. The power supply unit 18 supplies power to the control board 20.
[0073] like Figure 5 and Figure 6As shown, the control board 20 includes, for example, a board 51, an acceleration sensor 52, a communication unit 53, a storage unit 54, and a control unit 55. The control board 20 is configured by mounting the acceleration sensor 52, the communication unit 53, the storage unit 54, and the control unit 55 on the board 51.
[0074] The substrate 51 is fixed to the base portion 33 of the housing 11 by screws or the like.
[0075] The acceleration sensor 52 is, for example, a three-axis acceleration sensor. The acceleration sensor 52 outputs an acceleration signal to the control unit 55, the acceleration signal indicating the acceleration in three mutually orthogonal directions of the device body 3. For example, the acceleration sensor 52 is used to measure the amount of activity of a living body wearing the blood pressure measurement device 1 based on the detected acceleration.
[0076] The communication unit 53 is configured to be able to send and receive information with an external device wirelessly or wired. For example, the communication unit 53 sends information controlled by the control unit 55, measured blood pressure values, pulse information, etc. to an external device via a network, and also receives a program for software update from an external device via a network and sends it to the control unit 55.
[0077] In the present embodiment, the network is, for example, the Internet, but is not limited thereto, and may also be a network such as a LAN (Local Area Network) installed in a hospital, or may be direct communication with an external device using a cable having a terminal of a specified specification such as a USB. Therefore, the communication unit 53 may also be a structure including a plurality of wireless antennas and a micro USB connector.
[0078] The storage unit 54 stores in advance program data for controlling the entire blood pressure measurement device 1 and the fluid circuit 7, setting data for setting various functions of the blood pressure measurement device 1, and calculation data for calculating the blood pressure value and pulse based on the pressure measured by the pressure sensor 17. In addition, the storage unit 54 stores information such as the measured blood pressure value and pulse.
[0079] The control unit 55 is composed of one or more CPUs, and controls the overall operation of the blood pressure measurement device 1 and the operation of the fluid circuit 7. The control unit 55 is electrically connected to the display unit 12, the operation unit 13, the pump 14, the opening and closing valves 16, and the pressure sensors 17, and supplies power thereto. In addition, the control unit 55 controls the operation of the display unit 12, the pump 14, and the opening and closing valves 16 based on the electrical signals output by the operation unit 13 and the pressure sensor 17.
[0080] For example, Figure 5As shown in FIG. 1 , the control unit 55 includes a main CPU (Central Processing Unit) 56 for controlling the overall operation of the blood pressure measurement device 1 and a sub-CPU 57 for controlling the operation of the fluid circuit 7. For example, the main CPU 56 obtains measurement results such as the maximum blood pressure and the minimum blood pressure, and the heart rate based on the electrical signal output by the pressure sensor 17, and outputs an image signal corresponding to the measurement result to the display unit 12.
[0081] For example, when an instruction to measure blood pressure is input from the operation unit 13, the sub-CPU 57 drives the pump 14 and the on-off valve 16 to deliver compressed air to the palm cuff 71 and the sensing cuff 73. In addition, the sub-CPU 57 controls the driving and stopping of the pump 14 and the opening and closing of the on-off valve 16 based on the electrical signal output by the pressure sensor 17. The sub-CPU 57 selectively delivers compressed air to the palm cuff 71 and the sensing cuff 73 and selectively decompresses the palm cuff 71 and the sensing cuff 73 by controlling the pump 14 and the on-off valve 16.
[0082] like Figures 1 to 3 As shown, the band 4 includes a first band 61 provided on one pair of ears 31a and the spring bar 31b and a second band 62 provided on the other pair of ears 31a and the spring bar 31b. The band 4 is wrapped around the wrist 200 via a collar 5.
[0083] The first belt 61 is called a so-called mother belt and is configured in a belt shape. The first belt 61 has: a first hole portion 61a, which is provided at one end portion and is orthogonal to the long dimension direction of the first belt 61; a second hole portion 61b, which is provided at the other end portion and is orthogonal to the long dimension direction of the first belt 61; and a buckle 61c, which is provided at the second hole portion 61b. The first hole portion 61a has an inner diameter that allows the spring rod 31b to be inserted and allows the first belt 61 to rotate relative to the spring rod 31b. That is, the first belt 61 is located between a pair of ears 31a and the first hole portion 61a is arranged at the spring rod 31b, thereby being rotatably held on the contour housing 31.
[0084] The second hole 61b is provided at the end of the first belt 61. The buckle 61c has a rectangular frame-shaped frame body 61d and a buckle tongue 61e rotatably mounted on the frame-shaped body 61d. One side of the frame-shaped body 61d, to which the buckle tongue 61e is mounted, is inserted into the second hole 61b. The frame-shaped body 61d is rotatably mounted on the first belt 61 via the buckle tongue 61e.
[0085] The second belt 62 is called a so-called hook belt, and is formed into a belt shape having a width that can be inserted into the frame-shaped body 61d. In addition, the second belt 62 has a plurality of small holes 62a for inserting the buckle tongue 61e. In addition, the second belt 62 has a third hole portion 62b that is provided at one end and is orthogonal to the long dimension direction of the second belt 62. The third hole portion 62b has an inner diameter that can be inserted into the spring rod 31b and can rotate the second belt 62 relative to the spring rod 31b. That is, the second belt 62 is located between a pair of ears 31a and the third hole portion 62b is arranged at the spring rod 31b, thereby being rotatably held on the contour shell 31.
[0086] In this belt 4, the second belt 62 is inserted into the frame 61d, and the buckle tongue 61e is inserted into the small hole 62a. Thus, in the belt 4, the first belt 61 and the second belt 62 are integrally connected, and together with the outer shell 31, they form a ring shape in accordance with the circumferential direction of the wrist 200.
[0087] like Figure 4 As shown, the collar 5 is configured in a band shape that is bent in accordance with the circumferential direction of the wrist. The collar 5 is formed so that one end is separated from the other end. The outer surface of the collar 5, for example, on one end side, is fixed to the back cover 35 of the device body 3. One end and the other end of the collar 5 are arranged at a position protruding from the back cover 35. In addition, one end and the other end of the collar 5 are adjacent to each other in a manner separated by a predetermined distance.
[0088] As a specific example, the collar 5 is fixed to the end of the outer shell 31 or the base 33 on the living body side together with the back cover 35 using a screw 35a or the like. When the blood pressure measurement device 1 is worn on the wrist 200, the collar 5 is fixed to the back cover 35 in such a manner that one end and the other end are located on the side of one side of the wrist 200.
[0089] As a specific example, Figure 1 , Figure 2 as well as Figure 4 As shown, the collar 5 has a shape that is curved along the circumference of the wrist 200, for example, in a direction orthogonal to the circumference of the wrist, in other words, in a side view from the long dimension direction of the wrist. The collar 5 transitions from the device body 3 to the palm side of the wrist 200 through the back of the wrist 200 and the lateral side of one of the wrist 200, and extends to the other lateral side of the wrist 200. That is, the collar 5 is curved along the circumference of the wrist 200, thereby being arranged across most of the circumference of the wrist 200, and the two ends are separated at a predetermined interval.
[0090] The collar 5 has a hardness that allows flexibility and shape retention. Here, flexibility means that when an external force is applied to the collar 5 by the belt 4, the shape is deformed in the radial direction. For example, flexibility means that when the collar 5 is pressed by the belt 4, the shape is deformed in a side view in a manner close to the wrist, along the shape of the wrist, or in accordance with the shape of the wrist. In addition, shape retention means that the collar 5 can maintain a pre-shaped shape when no external force is applied. For example, in the present embodiment, shape retention means that the shape of the collar 5 can maintain a shape that is curved along the circumference of the wrist.
[0091] The collar 5 is provided with a cuff structure 6 on the inner circumference, and the cuff structure 6 is held along the inner circumference shape of the collar 5. As a specific example, the collar 5 is provided with a palm cuff 71 and a dorsal cuff 74 on the inner circumference, and the palm cuff 71 and the dorsal cuff 74 are welded together by heat on the outer circumference or the inner circumference, thereby fixing the cuff structure 6. In the present embodiment, the collar 5 is welded together by heat on the inner circumference.
[0092] The collar 5 is formed of a thermoplastic resin material. In addition, the collar 5 is made of a harder material than the palm cuff 71 and the dorsal cuff 74. For example, the collar 5 is made of a single material. For example, the resin material constituting the collar 5 is the same material as the resin material constituting the palm cuff 71 and the dorsal cuff 74.
[0093] Specifically, the resin material constituting the collar 5 is composed of a material that has good compatibility with the resin material constituting the palm cuff 71 and the dorsal cuff 74 when welded. Here, compatibility refers to the degree to which the softened or melted resin materials are mixed with each other during welding, and good compatibility means that the resin materials softened or melted during welding can be joined to a suitable degree of mixing, that is, they can be joined with the required joining strength. Specifically, in this embodiment, the resin material with good compatibility refers to two resin materials that can make the resin material constituting the collar 5 and the resin material constituting the palm cuff 71 and the dorsal cuff 74 properly mixed when welding is achieved by heat, and after welding, the resin material of the collar 5 and the resin material of the palm cuff 71 or the dorsal cuff 74 become one at the welding position.
[0094] In addition, the resin material constituting the collar 5 is composed of a material having the same softening temperature as or a similar softening temperature to the resin material constituting the palm cuff 71 and the dorsal cuff 74. It should be noted that the resin materials constituting the collar 5, the palm cuff 71, and the dorsal cuff 74 can be appropriately set as long as the temperature at which they soften and fuse with each other when the collar 5 and the cuff structure 6 are welded. For example, welding welding, laser welding, heat welding, hot air welding, induction welding, ultrasonic welding, radiation welding, etc. can be used as the welding method of the collar 5, the palm cuff 71, and the dorsal cuff 74.
[0095] As the thermoplastic resin material constituting the collar 5, for example, thermoplastic polyurethane resin (hereinafter referred to as TPU), polyvinyl chloride resin (PolyVinyl Chloride), ethylene-vinyl acetate resin (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate), thermoplastic polystyrene resin (Thermoplastic PolyStyrene), thermoplastic polyolefin resin (Thermoplastic PolyOlefin), thermoplastic polyester resin (ThermoPlastic Polyester) and thermoplastic polyamide resin (Thermoplastic PolyAmide) can be used. The collar 5 is formed to have a thickness of about 1 mm, for example.
[0096] like Figures 1 to 4 , Figures 7 to 13 As shown, the cuff structure 6 includes a palm cuff (cuff) 71, a back plate 72, a sensing cuff 73 and a dorsal cuff (cuff) 74. The cuff structure 6 is fixed to the collar 5. The palm cuff 71, the back plate 72 and the sensing cuff 73 of the cuff structure 6 are stacked on the collar 5, and the dorsal cuff 74 is separated from the palm cuff 71, the back plate 72 and the sensing cuff 73 and is arranged on the collar 5.
[0097] As a specific example, the palm side cuff 71, the back plate 72, the sensing cuff 73 and the dorsal cuff 74 of the cuff structure 6 are arranged on the inner surface of the collar 5. In the cuff structure 6, the palm side cuff 71, the back plate 72 and the sensing cuff 73 are stacked and fixed to the inner surface of the palm side of the wrist 200 of the collar 5 in the order from the inner surface of the collar 5 toward the biological body side. In addition, the dorsal cuff 74 of the cuff structure 6 is arranged on the inner surface of the back of the hand side of the wrist 200 of the collar 5. Each component of the cuff structure 6 is fixed to the adjacent components in the stacking direction by double-sided tape, adhesive, etc.
[0098] The palm side cuff 71 is a so-called pressing cuff. The palm side cuff 71 is fluidically connected to the pump 14 via the flow path 15. The palm side cuff 71 presses the back plate 72 and the sensing cuff 73 against the biological body side by inflating. The palm side cuff 71 includes a plurality of air bags 81, for example, a double-layer air bag 81. The palm side cuff 71 is made of the same type of resin material that has high compatibility with the collar 5 during the process of being fused by heat.
[0099] Here, the air bag 81 refers to a bag-shaped structure. In this embodiment, the blood pressure measurement device 1 uses air through the pump 14. Therefore, the air bag is used for description. However, when a fluid other than air is used, the bag-shaped structure may be a fluid bag such as a liquid bag. A plurality of air bags 81 are stacked, and the fluid is connected in the stacking direction.
[0100] The air bag 81 is formed in a rectangular shape that is long in one direction. The air bag 81 is formed by combining two sheet members 86 that are long in one direction and fusing the edges thereof with heat. Figures 7 to 9 As shown, the double-layer air bag 81 includes, from the biological body side, a first sheet member 86a, a second sheet member 86b constituting the first-layer air bag 81 together with the first sheet member 86a, a third sheet member 86c integrally bonded to the second sheet member 86b, and a fourth sheet member 86d constituting the second-layer air bag 81 together with the third sheet member 86c. It should be noted that the double-layer air bag 81 is integrally formed by bonding the sheet members 86 of the adjacent air bags 81 by bonding or welding using a double-sided tape or adhesive.
[0101] The first sheet member 86a and the second sheet member 86b are welded at the peripheral edge portions of four sides to form the air bag 81. The second sheet member 86b and the third sheet member 86c are arranged opposite to each other, and each has a plurality of openings 86b1 and 86c1 for fluidly connecting the two air bags 81. The fourth sheet member 86d is arranged on the collar 5 and is welded to the inner peripheral surface or the outer peripheral surface of the collar 5 by heat.
[0102] The third sheet member 86c and the fourth sheet member 86d are welded at the peripheral edges of four sides to form the air bag 81 .
[0103] The back plate 72 is attached to the outer surface of the first sheet member 86a of the palm cuff 71 by an adhesive layer, a double-sided tape, etc. The back plate 72 is formed into a plate shape by a resin material. The back plate 72 is made of polypropylene, for example, and is formed into a plate shape with a thickness of about 1 mm. The back plate 72 has shape-conforming properties.
[0104] Here, shape conformity refers to the function of the back plate 72 being able to deform in a manner consistent with the shape of the contacted portion of the wrist 200 on which it is configured. The contacted portion of the wrist 200 refers to the area of the wrist 200 opposite to the back plate 72. The contact here includes both direct contact and indirect contact via the sensing cuff 73.
[0105] For example, Fig. 9 As shown, the back plate 72 has a plurality of grooves 72a extending in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction on both main surfaces of the back plate 72. Fig. 9 As shown, a plurality of grooves 72a are provided on both main surfaces of the back plate 72. The plurality of grooves 72a provided on both main surfaces are opposed to each other in the thickness direction of the back plate 72. In addition, the plurality of grooves 72a are arranged at equal intervals in the longitudinal direction of the back plate 72.
[0106] In the back plate 72, the portion having the plurality of grooves 72a is thinner than the portion without the grooves 72a, so that the portion having the plurality of grooves 72a is easily deformed. Therefore, the back plate 72 is deformed according to the shape of the wrist 200, and has a shape followability extending along the circumferential direction of the wrist. The back plate 72 is formed to cover the palm side of the wrist 200. The back plate 72 transmits the pressing force from the palm side cuff 71 to the main surface of the back plate 72 side of the sensing cuff 73 while following the shape of the wrist 200.
[0107] The sensing cuff 73 is fixed to the main surface of the back plate 72 on the biological body side. Fig.12 and Fig.13 As shown, the sensing cuff 73 is in direct contact with the region where the artery 210 of the wrist 200 is located. Here, the artery 210 refers to the radial artery and the ulnar artery. The sensing cuff 73 is formed to have the same shape as the back plate 72 or a shape smaller than the back plate 72 in the long dimension direction and the width direction of the back plate 72. The sensing cuff 73 compresses the region where the artery 210 is located on the palm side of the wrist 200 by expanding. The sensing cuff 73 is pressed toward the living body side via the back plate 72 by the expanded palm side cuff 71.
[0108] As a specific example, the sensing cuff 73 includes an air bag 91, a tube 92 connected to the air bag 91, and a connection portion 93 provided at the end of the tube 92. In the sensing cuff 73, one main surface of the air bag 91 is fixed to the back plate 72. For example, the sensing cuff 73 is attached to the main surface of the back plate 72 on the biological body side by a double-sided tape, an adhesive layer, or the like.
[0109] Here, the air bag 81 refers to a bag-like structure. In the present embodiment, the blood pressure measurement device 1 is constructed using air via the pump 14, and therefore an air bag is used for description. However, when a fluid other than air is used, the bag-like structure may be a liquid bag or the like.
[0110] The air bag 91 is formed in a rectangular shape that is long in one direction. The air bag 91 is formed by combining two sheet members 96 that are long in one direction and fusing the edges thereof with heat. Fig. 9 and Fig.13 As shown, the air bag 91 includes a fifth sheet member 96a and a sixth sheet member 96b from the living body side.
[0111] For example, in the fifth sheet member 96a and the sixth sheet member 96b, the tube 92 connected to the internal space of the air bag 91 is arranged on one side of the fifth sheet member 96a and the sixth sheet member 96b, and fixed by welding. For example, in the fifth sheet member 96a and the sixth sheet member 96b, in a state where the tube 92 is arranged between the fifth sheet member 96a and the sixth sheet member 96b, the peripheral edge portions of the four sides are welded to form the air bag 91, so that the tube 92 is integrally welded.
[0112] The tube 92 is provided at one end of the long dimension direction of the air bag 91. As a specific example, the tube 92 is provided at the end of the air bag 91 close to the device body 3. The tube 92 has a connection portion 93 at the end. The tube 92 is connected to the flow path portion 15 to form a flow path between the device body 3 and the air bag 91. The connection portion 93 is connected to the flow path portion 15. The connection portion 93 is, for example, a pipe joint.
[0113] The back cuff 74 is a so-called stretch cuff. The back cuff 74 is fluidically connected to the pump 14 via the flow path 15. The back cuff 74 presses the collar 5 in a manner that the collar 5 is separated from the wrist 200 by expansion, and stretches the belt 4 and the collar 5 toward the back of the wrist 200. The back cuff 74 includes a plurality of air bags 101, for example, six layers of air bags 101, a tube 102 connected to the air bags 101, and a connection portion 103 provided at the end of the tube 102.
[0114] In addition, the back cuff 74 is configured to be thicker in the expansion direction, which is the direction in which the collar 5 and the wrist 200 are opposite, than the thickness of the palm cuff 71 and the thickness of the sensing cuff 73 when expanded in the expansion direction. That is, the air bag 101 of the back cuff 74 has a layer structure that is more than the air bag 81 of the palm cuff 71 and the air bag 91 of the sensing cuff 73, and is thicker than the palm cuff 71 and the sensing cuff 73 when expanded from the collar 5 to the wrist 200.
[0115] Here, the air bag 101 refers to a bag-like structure. In this embodiment, the blood pressure measurement device 1 is configured to use air through the pump 14, so the air bag is used for description. However, when a fluid other than air is used, the bag-like structure may be a fluid bag such as a liquid bag. A plurality of air bags 101 are stacked, and the fluid is connected in the stacking direction.
[0116] The air bag 101 is formed in a rectangular shape that is long in one direction. The air bag 101 is formed by combining two sheet members 106 that are long in one direction and fusing the edges thereof with heat. Fig.10 and Fig.11As shown, the six-layer air bag 101 includes, from the biological body side, a seventh sheet member 106a, an eighth sheet member 106b, a ninth sheet member 106c, a tenth sheet member 106d, an eleventh sheet member 106e, a twelfth sheet member 106f, a thirteenth sheet member 106g, a fourteenth sheet member 106h, a fifteenth sheet member 106i, a sixteenth sheet member 106j, a seventeenth sheet member 106k, and an eighteenth sheet member 106l. It should be noted that the six-layer air bag 101 is integrally formed by bonding or welding the adjacent sheet members 106 of the air bag 101 with a double-sided tape or adhesive.
[0117] The seventh sheet member 106a and the eighth sheet member 106b are welded at the peripheral edges of the four sides to form the first layer of the air bag 101. The eighth sheet member 106b and the ninth sheet member 106c are arranged opposite to each other and bonded together. The eighth sheet member 106b and the ninth sheet member 106c have a plurality of openings 106b1 and 106c1 for fluidly connecting the adjacent air bags 101. The ninth sheet member 106c and the tenth sheet member 106d are welded at the peripheral edges of the four sides to form the second layer of the air bag 101.
[0118] The tenth sheet member 106d and the eleventh sheet member 106e are arranged opposite to each other and bonded together. The tenth sheet member 106d and the eleventh sheet member 106e have a plurality of openings 106d1 and 106e1 for fluidly connecting adjacent air bags 101. The eleventh sheet member 106e and the twelfth sheet member 106f are welded at the peripheral edges of the four sides to form the third layer air bag 101.
[0119] The twelfth sheet member 106f and the thirteenth sheet member 106g are arranged opposite to each other and bonded together. The twelfth sheet member 106f and the thirteenth sheet member 106g have a plurality of openings 106f1 and 106g1 for fluidly connecting adjacent air bags 101. The thirteenth sheet member 106g and the fourteenth sheet member 106h are welded at the peripheral edges of the four sides to form the fourth layer of the air bag 101.
[0120] The fourteenth sheet member 106h and the fifteenth sheet member 106i are arranged opposite to each other and bonded together. The fourteenth sheet member 106h and the fifteenth sheet member 106i have a plurality of openings 106h1 and 106i1 for fluidly connecting adjacent air bags 101. The fifteenth sheet member 106i and the sixteenth sheet member 106j are welded at the peripheral edges of the four sides to form the fifth layer of the air bag 101.
[0121] The sixteenth sheet member 106j and the seventeenth sheet member 106k are arranged opposite to each other and bonded together. The sixteenth sheet member 106j and the seventeenth sheet member 106k have a plurality of openings 106j1 and 106k1 that connect the adjacent air bags 101 fluidically. The seventeenth sheet member 106k and the eighteenth sheet member 106l form the sixth layer of the air bag 101 by welding the peripheral portions in a rectangular frame shape. In addition, for example, the tube 102 that is fluidically connected to the internal space of the air bag 101 is arranged on one side of the seventeenth sheet member 106k and the eighteenth sheet member 106l and fixed by welding. For example, in the seventeenth sheet member 106k and the eighteenth sheet member 106l, in a state where the tube 102 is arranged between the seventeenth sheet member 106k and the eighteenth sheet member 106l, the air bag 101 is formed by welding the peripheral portions in a rectangular frame shape, thereby welding the tube 102 integrally.
[0122] For example, the sixth-layer air bag 101 is integrally formed with the second-layer air bag 81 of the palm cuff 71. That is, the seventeenth sheet member 106k is integrally formed with the third sheet member 86c, and the eighteenth sheet member 1061 is integrally formed with the fourth sheet member 86d.
[0123] If described in more detail, the third sheet member 86c and the seventeenth sheet member 106k constitute a rectangular sheet member that is longer in one direction, and the eighteenth sheet member 106l and the fourth sheet member 86d constitute a rectangular sheet member that is longer in one direction. Then, these sheet members are overlapped and welded in a manner that the end side of one side is in a rectangular frame shape and a part of one side of the end side of the other side is excluded. Thus, the second layer of air bag 81 of the palm cuff 71 is formed. Then, the sixth layer of air bag 101 of the dorsal cuff 74 is formed by welding in a manner that the end side of the other side is in a rectangular frame shape and a part of one side of the end side is excluded. In addition, a part of one side of the second layer of air bag 81 and the sixth layer of air bag 101 on each side facing each other is not welded, so the fluid is connected.
[0124] The tube 102 is connected to one of the six-layer air bags 101 and is provided at one end of the long dimension of the air bag 101. As a specific example, the tube 102 is provided at the end of the six-layer air bag 101 on the collar 5 side and close to the device body 3. The tube 102 has a connection portion 103 at the end. The tube 102 constitutes a flow path between the device body 3 and the air bag 101 in the fluid circuit 7. The connection portion 103 is, for example, a pipe joint.
[0125] It should be noted that, as described above, in the present embodiment, a part of the dorsal cuff 74 is integrally formed with the palm cuff 71 and is fluidically connected to the palm cuff 71, but the present invention is not limited thereto. Figure 8 As shown, the dorsal cuff 74 may be formed separately from the palm cuff 71 and not fluidically connected to the palm cuff 71. In the case of adopting such a structure, the palm cuff 71 is provided with a tube and a connection portion similar to the sensing cuff 73 and the dorsal cuff 74, and a flow path, a check valve, and a pressure sensor for supplying fluid to the palm cuff 71 may also be connected in the fluid circuit 7.
[0126] In addition, each sheet member 86, 96, 106 forming the palm cuff 71, the sensing cuff 73, and the dorsal cuff 74 is formed of a thermoplastic resin material. Thermoplastic resin material is a thermoplastic elastomer. As the thermoplastic resin material constituting the sheet members 86, 96, 106, for example, thermoplastic polyurethane resin (Thermoplastic PolyUrethane, hereinafter referred to as TPU), polyvinyl chloride resin (PolyVinyl Chloride), ethylene-vinyl acetate resin (Ethylene-VinylAcetate), thermoplastic polystyrene resin (Thermoplastic PolyStyrene), thermoplastic polyolefin resin (Thermoplastic PolyOlefin), thermoplastic polyester resin (ThermoPlastic Polyester) and thermoplastic polyamide resin (Thermoplastic PolyAmide) can be used. It should be noted that in the palm cuff 71 and the sensing cuff 73 , at least the sheet members 86 , 106 welded to the collar 5 among the plurality of sheet members 86 , 106 constituting the air bags 81 , 101 are made of the same material as the collar 5 .
[0127] For example, the sheet members 86, 96, 106 can be formed by T-die extrusion molding, injection molding, etc. After the sheet members 86, 96, 106 are formed by each molding method, they are sizing into a predetermined shape, and then the sizing single sheets are joined by welding, etc., thereby forming the bag-shaped structures 81, 91, 101. As a welding method, high-frequency welding or laser welding can be used.
[0128] Next, an example of a resin material used for the collar 5 and the cuff structure 6 will be described. First, as described above, the collar 5 is required to have a hardness that allows flexibility and shape retention.
[0129] The cuff structure 6 is configured to inflate the air bags 81 , 91 , 101 . The sheet members 86 , 96 , 106 of the air bags 81 are welded together. The air bags 81 of the palm cuff 71 and the air bags 101 of the dorsal cuff 74 are welded to the collar 5 .
[0130] Therefore, at least the collar 5, the sheet member 86 of the air bag 81 of the palm cuff 71 welded to the collar 5, and the sheet member 106 of the air bag 101 of the dorsal cuff 74 are compatible and made of the same material when welded so that the softening temperatures are an appropriate combination.
[0131] It should be noted that in the palm cuff 71 and the dorsal cuff 74, the sheet members 86 and 106 welded to the collar 5 are preferably made of the same material as the collar 5. However, since the adjacent sheet members 86 and 106 stacked when forming the air bags 81 and 101 are welded, it is preferable that all the sheet members 86 are made of the same material.
[0132] For example, the collar 5 may be made of 1174D of thermoplastic polyurethane resin (TPU), and the palm cuff 71 and the dorsal cuff 74 may be made of R195A of thermoplastic polyurethane resin (TPU). It should be noted that if the collar 5 and the palm cuff 71 and the dorsal cuff 74, as well as the adjacent sheet members 86, 96, 106 can be properly welded, the sheet members 86, 96, 106 may have a single-layer structure, or may have a multi-layer structure.
[0133] The fluid circuit 7 is composed of a housing 11, a pump 14, a flow path 15, an on-off valve 16, a pressure sensor 17, a palm cuff 71, a sensing cuff 73, and a back cuff 74. The two on-off valves 16 used in the fluid circuit 7 are the first on-off valve 16A and the second on-off valve 16B, and the two pressure sensors 17 are the first pressure sensor 17A and the second pressure sensor 17B. A specific example of the fluid circuit 7 is described below.
[0134] like Figure 5 As shown, the fluid circuit 7 includes, for example, a first flow path 7a, which is connected to the palm cuff 71 and the dorsal cuff 74 from the pump 14; a second flow path 7b, which is formed by branching from the middle part of the first flow path 7a and is connected to the sensing cuff 73 from the pump 14; and a third flow path 7c, which connects the first flow path 7a to the atmosphere. In addition, the first flow path 7a includes a first pressure sensor 17A. A first opening and closing valve 16A is provided between the first flow path 7a and the second flow path 7b. The second flow path 7b includes a second pressure sensor 17B. A second opening and closing valve 16B is provided between the first flow path 7a and the third flow path 7c.
[0135] In this fluid circuit 7, the first opening and closing valve 16A and the second opening and closing valve 16B are closed, whereby only the first flow path 7a is connected to the pump 14, and the pump 14 is fluidically connected to the palm cuff 71. In the fluid circuit 7, the first opening and closing valve 16A is opened, and the second opening and closing valve 16B is closed, whereby the first flow path 7a is connected to the second flow path 7b, and the pump 14 is fluidically connected to the dorsal cuff 74, the dorsal cuff 74 is fluidly connected to the palm cuff 71, and the pump 14 is fluidly connected to the sensing cuff 73. In the fluid circuit 7, the first opening and closing valve 16A is closed, and the second opening and closing valve 16B is opened, whereby the first flow path 7a is connected to the third flow path 7c, and the palm cuff 71, the dorsal cuff 74, and the atmosphere are fluidly connected. In the fluid circuit 7 , the first on-off valve 16A and the second on-off valve 16B are opened, thereby connecting the first flow path 7 a , the second flow path 7 b , and the third flow path 7 c , and connecting the palm cuff 71 , the sensing cuff 73 , and the back cuff 74 to the atmospheric fluid.
[0136] Next, use Figures 14 to 17 An example of blood pressure value measurement using the blood pressure measurement device 1 will be described. Fig.14 1 is a flowchart showing an example of blood pressure measurement using the blood pressure measurement device 1, and shows both the user's operation and the operation of the control unit 55. Figures 15 to 17 An example in which a user wears the blood pressure measurement device 1 on a wrist 200 is shown.
[0137] First, the user wears the blood pressure measurement device 1 on the wrist 200 (step ST1). Fig.15 As shown, the user inserts one side of the wrist 200 into the collar 5 .
[0138] At this time, in the blood pressure measurement device 1, the device body 3 and the sensing cuff 73 are arranged at positions opposite to the collar 5, so that the sensing cuff 73 is arranged in the area where the artery 210 on the palm side of the wrist 200 is located. Thus, the device body 3 and the back cuff 74 are mounted on the back side of the wrist 200. Fig.16 As shown in FIG. 1 , the user passes the second band 62 through the frame 61d of the buckle 61c of the first band 61 with the hand opposite to the hand wearing the blood pressure measurement device 1. Then, the user stretches the second band 62 so that the member on the inner peripheral surface side of the collar 5, that is, the cuff structure 6, fits closely to the wrist 200, and inserts the buckle tongue 61e into the small hole 62a. Fig.17 As shown, the first belt 61 and the second belt 62 are connected, and the blood pressure measurement device 1 is worn on the wrist 200 .
[0139] Next, the user operates the operation unit 13 and inputs a command corresponding to the start of the measurement of the blood pressure value. The operation unit 13 to which the command input operation is performed outputs an electrical signal corresponding to the start of the measurement to the control unit 55 (step ST2). When the control unit 55 receives the electrical signal, for example, it opens the first opening and closing valve 16A and closes the second opening and closing valve 16B, drives the pump 14, and supplies compressed air to the palm cuff 71, the sensing cuff 73, and the dorsal cuff 74 via the first flow path 7a and the second flow path 7b (step ST3). As a result, the palm cuff 71, the sensing cuff 73, and the dorsal cuff 74 begin to expand.
[0140] The first pressure sensor 17A and the second pressure sensor 17B detect the pressure of the palm cuff 71, the sensing cuff 73, and the back cuff 74, respectively, and output an electrical signal corresponding to the pressure to the control unit 55 (step ST4). The control unit 55 determines whether the pressure of the internal space of the palm cuff 71, the sensing cuff 73, and the back cuff 74 reaches the specified pressure for blood pressure measurement based on the received electrical signal (step ST5). For example, when the internal pressure of the palm cuff 71 and the back cuff 74 does not reach the specified pressure, and the internal pressure of the sensing cuff 73 reaches the specified pressure, the control unit 55 closes the first opening and closing valve 16A and supplies compressed air through the first flow path 7a.
[0141] When the internal pressures of the palm cuff 71 and the back cuff 74 and the internal pressure of the sensing cuff 73 all reach the specified pressure, the control unit 55 stops driving the pump 14 (Yes in step ST5). Fig.12 and Fig.13 As shown, the palm cuff 71 and the back cuff 74 are fully expanded, and the expanded palm cuff 71 presses the back plate 72. In addition, the back cuff 74 presses the collar 5 in the direction of separation from the wrist 200, so the belt 4, the collar 5 and the device body 3 move in the direction of separation from the wrist 200, and as a result, the palm cuff 71, the back plate 72 and the sensing cuff 73 are stretched toward the wrist 200 side. In addition, when the belt 4, the collar 5 and the device body 3 move in the direction of separation from the wrist 200 due to the expansion of the back cuff 74, the belt 4, the collar 5 and the device body 3 move in a state where the belt 4 and the collar 5 move to both sides of the wrist 200 and are in close contact with both sides of the wrist 200, the belt 4, the collar 5 and the device body 3 move. Therefore, the belt 4 and the collar 5 in close contact with the skin of the wrist 200 stretch the skin on both sides of the wrist 200 toward the back of the hand. It should be noted that, as long as the collar 5 can stretch the skin of the wrist 200 , the collar 5 may be configured to indirectly contact the skin of the wrist 200 via the sheet members 86 , 106 , for example.
[0142] The sensing cuff 73 is inflated by supplying a predetermined amount of air so that the internal pressure becomes the pressure required for measuring blood pressure, and is pressed against the wrist 200 by pressing the back plate 72 of the palm cuff 71. Therefore, the sensing cuff 73 presses the artery 210 in the wrist 200, as shown in FIG. Fig.13 As shown, artery 210 is occluded.
[0143] In addition, the control unit 55 controls the second opening and closing valve 16B, repeats the opening and closing of the second opening and closing valve 16B, or adjusts the opening degree of the second opening and closing valve 16B, thereby pressurizing the pressure of the internal space of the palm cuff 71. Based on the electrical signal output by the second pressure sensor 17B during the pressurization process, the control unit 55 obtains the measurement results of the blood pressure values such as the highest blood pressure and the lowest blood pressure, the heart rate, etc. (step ST6). The control unit 55 outputs the image signal corresponding to the obtained measurement result to the display unit 12, and displays the measurement result on the display unit 12 (step ST7). In addition, after the blood pressure measurement is completed, the control unit 55 opens the first opening and closing valve 16A and the second opening and closing valve 16B.
[0144] The display unit 12 displays the measurement result on the screen when receiving the image signal. The user confirms the measurement result by visually checking the display unit 12. It should be noted that after the measurement, the user removes the buckle tongue 61e from the small hole 62a, removes the second belt 62 from the frame body 61d, and pulls the wrist 200 out of the collar 5, thereby removing the blood pressure measurement device 1 from the wrist 200.
[0145] The blood pressure measuring device 1 of one embodiment constructed in this way is a structure in which the collar 5, the palm cuff 71, and the dorsal cuff 74 are joined by heat welding. In addition, the blood pressure measuring device 1 is a structure in which at least the welded portions of the collar 5, the palm cuff 71, and the dorsal cuff 74 are made of a thermoplastic resin material, and the thermoplastic resin material is a material of the same type with good compatibility and the same or similar softening temperatures.
[0146] Thus, when the collar 5, the palm cuff 71, and the dorsal cuff 74 are joined, the palm cuff 71 and the dorsal cuff 74 can be properly welded to the collar 5. As a result, the joining strength of the joining portion between the collar 5 and the palm cuff 71 and the dorsal cuff 74 can be improved. It should be noted that, here, proper welding refers to welding in which the material is broken rather than the joining portion being peeled off from the surface when a tensile load is applied to the collar 5 and the palm cuff 71 and the dorsal cuff 74 until the joining portion is separated.
[0147] In this way, the joining strength between the collar 5 and the palm cuff 71 and the back cuff 74 that are repeatedly expanded and contracted is improved, so the collar 5 and the cuff structure 6 have high durability. In addition, the cuff structure 6 is joined to the collar 5 with high joining strength, so that the cuff structure 6 is repeatedly expanded and contracted along the inner peripheral surface of the collar 5, so that wrinkles and bends of the cuff structure 6 can be suppressed, and uneven pressure distribution in the cuff structure 6 can be prevented.
[0148] In addition, in the blood pressure measurement device 1, the collar 5, the palm cuff 71, and the dorsal cuff 74 are made of a resin material that can be appropriately heat-welded, so that the collar 5 can be directly welded to the palm cuff 71 and the dorsal cuff 74. Fig.11 As shown, in the collar 5 and the cuff structure 6, any portion where the collar 5 contacts the palm cuff 71 and the dorsal cuff 74 may be welded again, without providing an adhesive layer or using a joining portion for bonding or sewing.
[0149] In addition, as in the previous configuration, when the collar and the cuff structure are joined using an adhesive layer, the size in the thickness direction increases by the amount of the adhesive layer. In addition, when the collar and the cuff structure are joined by a joining method such as sewing or riveting, other components are required, so the size in the width direction and the thickness direction increases by the amount of setting the other components.
[0150] However, the collar 5 and the cuff structure 6 of this embodiment can be joined by welding, so the increase in size caused by joining can be prevented, and the increase in the width direction and the thickness direction caused by joining by an adhesive layer or other components will not occur. As a result, the blood pressure measurement device 1 can prevent the collar 5 and the cuff structure 6 from becoming larger in size.
[0151] As a result, the blood pressure measurement device 1 can be made small and can stably perform high-precision blood pressure measurement for a long period of time.
[0152] In addition, the collar 5 is formed of the same material as the resin material of the palm cuff 71 and the dorsal cuff 74, so that it can be formed of one resin material, so it is easy to manufacture. In addition, the collar 5 can be welded to the cuff structure 6 by heat at all positions, so there is a high degree of freedom in the design of the welded position.
[0153] Furthermore, the blood pressure measurement device 1 adopts a structure in which the cuff structure 6 is fused to the collar 5 by heat, thereby making it possible to set the dimension of the cuff structure 6 in the width direction to be equal to or less than the dimension of the collar 5 in the width direction. Therefore, the cuff structure 6 can be arranged at the same position as the collar 5 or further inside than the collar 5, and the blood pressure measurement device 1 can be miniaturized.
[0154] This effect will be described in detail. For example, when the blood pressure measuring device is joined by an adhesive layer or other components, a joining portion is required. It is also considered that by reducing the width of the cuff in the width direction of the collar 5, even if the joining portion is ensured, the outer dimensions of the blood pressure measuring device will become larger. However, when the width of the cuff is reduced, the measurement accuracy of the blood pressure measurement will be reduced. However, the blood pressure measuring device 1 of the present embodiment welds the collar 5 and the cuff structure 6 by heat, so that the width of each cuff 71, 74 of the cuff structure 6 can be made to match the width of the collar 5. Thus, the cuff structure 6 can be joined to the collar 5, and the width of each cuff 71, 74 can be ensured, so that the blood pressure measuring device 1 can be miniaturized while maintaining the measurement accuracy of the blood pressure measurement.
[0155] As described above, according to the blood pressure measurement device 1 of the present embodiment, the palm-side cuff 71 and the dorsal cuff 74 made of the same material are thermally welded at the collar 5 , thereby achieving miniaturization.
[0156] [Second embodiment]
[0157] Next, use Figures 18 to 22 A second embodiment of the blood pressure measurement device 1 will be described. It should be noted that the blood pressure measurement device 1 of the second embodiment is different from the blood pressure measurement device 1 of the first embodiment described above in that the collar 5A is made of a composite material. Therefore, the same reference numerals are attached to the same components of the blood pressure measurement device 1 of the second embodiment as those of the blood pressure measurement device 1 of the first embodiment described above, and the description and illustration thereof are appropriately omitted.
[0158] The blood pressure measuring device 1 of this second embodiment comprises: a device body 3; a belt 4 for fixing the device body 3 to the wrist; a collar 5A arranged between the belt 4 and the wrist; a cuff structure 6 having a palm cuff 71, a sensing cuff 73 and a dorsal cuff 74; and a fluid circuit 7 for fluidly connecting the device body 3 and the cuff structure 6.
[0159] The collar 5A is made of a plurality of materials, and a portion that is thermally welded to the cuff structure 6 is made of the same material as the cuff structure 6 .
[0160] Specifically, the collar 5A is formed in a band shape that is curved along the circumference of the wrist. One end of the collar 5A is separated from the other end. The outer surface of the collar 5A, for example, on one end side is fixed to the back cover 35 of the device body 3. One end and the other end of the collar 5A are arranged at a position protruding from the back cover 35. In addition, one end and the other end of the collar 5A are adjacent to each other in a manner separated by a predetermined distance.
[0161] As a specific example, the collar 5A is fixed to the end of the outer shell 31 or the base 33 on the living body side together with the back cover 35 using a screw 35a or the like. When the blood pressure measurement device 1 is worn on the wrist 200, the collar 5A is fixed to the back cover 35 so that one end and the other end are located on one side of the wrist 200.
[0162] As a specific example, the collar 5A has a shape that is curved along the circumference of the wrist 200, for example, in a direction orthogonal to the circumference of the wrist, in other words, when viewed from the side in the long dimension direction of the wrist. The collar 5A transitions from the device body 3 to the palm side of the wrist 200 through the back of the wrist 200 and the lateral side of one of the wrist 200, and extends to the lateral side of the other side of the wrist 200. That is, the collar 5A is curved along the circumference of the wrist 200, and is therefore arranged across most of the circumference of the wrist 200, and the two ends are separated by a predetermined interval.
[0163] The collar 5A has a hardness that allows flexibility and shape retention. Here, flexibility means that when an external force is applied to the collar 5A by the belt 4, the shape is deformed in the radial direction. For example, flexibility means that when the collar 5A is pressed by the belt 4, the shape is deformed in a side view in a manner close to the wrist, along the shape of the wrist, or in a manner that imitates the shape of the wrist. In addition, shape retention means that the collar 5A can maintain a pre-shaped shape when no external force is applied. For example, in the present embodiment, shape retention means that the shape of the collar 5A can maintain a shape that is curved along the circumference of the wrist.
[0164] The collar 5A is provided with the cuff structure 6 on the inner circumference, and the cuff structure 6 is held along the inner circumference shape of the collar 5A. As a specific example, the collar 5A is provided with the palm side cuff 71 and the back side cuff 74 on the inner circumference, and the palm side cuff 71 and the back side cuff 74 are welded by heat on the inner circumference or the outer circumference, thereby fixing the cuff structure 6.
[0165] The collar 5A is made of a thermoplastic resin material. For example, the collar 5A includes a first portion 5a including an area where the palm cuff 71 and the back cuff 74 are welded, and a second portion 5b other than the first portion 5a. In the collar 5A, the first portion 5a and the second portion 5b are integrally formed by resin molding such as injection molding.
[0166] The first portion 5a is provided in the area where at least the palm side cuff 71 and the dorsal cuff 74 are welded. The first portion 5a is made of the same material as the palm side cuff 71 and the dorsal cuff 74. The first portion 5a can play the function of the collar 5A together with the second portion 5b, and the range and shape thereof can be appropriately set as long as the palm side cuff 71 and the dorsal cuff 74 can be welded.
[0167] The second portion 5b constitutes a portion of the collar 5A other than the first portion 5a. The second portion 5b is provided to obtain flexibility and shape retention of the collar 5A. As long as the second portion 5b can perform the function of the collar 5A together with the first portion 5a, its range, shape, etc. can be appropriately set. For example, the second portion 5b is made of a material harder than the first portion 5a and has a lower elastic modulus than the first portion 5a.
[0168] As a material constituting the second portion 5b, for example, polypropylene (PolyproPylene), polyethylene terephthalate (PolyEthyleneTerephthalate), polyethylene naphthalate (PolyEthyleneNaphthalate) can be used. In addition, the second portion 5b can also be formed of a metal material such as a metal plate.
[0169] In this embodiment, as an example of welding the cuff structure 6 on the inner peripheral surface side, Fig.18 As shown, the collar 5A has a double-layer structure in which a first portion 5a is provided on the outer peripheral surface side and a second portion 5b is provided on the inner peripheral surface side.
[0170] The blood pressure measuring device 1 having the collar 5A constructed in this way can be miniaturized and can perform high-precision blood pressure measurement stably for a long time, similarly to the blood pressure measuring device 1 of the first embodiment described above. In addition, the collar 5A is made of a composite material in which the portion welded to the cuff structure 6 is made of the same material as the portion welded to the cuff structure 6, and the other portions are made of a different material.
[0171] By adopting this structure, the collar 5A can be appropriately heat-welded to the cuff structure 6, and the flexibility and shape retention required of the collar 5A can be easily obtained. In addition, the collar 5A and the cuff structure 6 can be heat-welded by the first portion 5a, and the function required of the collar 5A can be obtained by the second portion 5b, so the material of the second portion 5b can be appropriately selected according to the function required of the collar 5A. In this way, the collar 5A has a high degree of freedom in the selection of the material.
[0172] It should be noted that the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiments. In the above-mentioned example, as an example of forming the collar 5A with a composite material, a double-layer structure having a first portion 5a provided on the outer peripheral surface side and a second portion 5b provided on the inner peripheral surface side is described, but the present invention is not limited to this. For example, as another embodiment, Fig.19 As shown, in the collar 5A, the outer surface side can be constituted by the first portion 5a, and the center side can be constituted as a core material by the second portion 5b.
[0173] In addition, as other embodiments, Fig. 20 As shown, the collar 5A and the cuff structure 6 can be welded at the edges along the long dimension direction of the collar 5A and the cuff structure 6, and the first portion 5a forms the two edge portions along the long dimension direction of the collar 5A, and the second portion 5b forms the center side. Fig.21 As shown, the collar 5A may be configured such that a plurality of first portions 5a are arranged at the portion to be welded.
[0174] In addition, as other embodiments, Fig. 22 As shown, the blood pressure measurement device 1 may include a joining piece 99 disposed on the outer peripheral surface of the collar 5A and joined to the collar 5A in the palm cuff 71 and the back cuff 74, and the first portion 5a may be disposed on the outer peripheral surface side of the collar 5A.
[0175] The joining piece 99 is formed, for example, by making the width of the sheet members 86, 106 of at least the first layer of the air bags 81, 101 larger than the width of the collar 5A and folding back the two edges in the width direction of the sheet members 86, 106. In this way, the joining piece 99 is formed by a part of the cuff structure 6, and the joining piece 99 is folded back to the outer peripheral surface of the collar 5A for joining. Therefore, even if the cuff structure 6 is welded to the outer peripheral surface of the collar 5A, the increase in the size of the collar 5A in the width direction can be suppressed, and the blood pressure measurement device 1 can be miniaturized.
[0176] In addition, a configuration may be adopted in which the collar 5A and the air bag 81, 101 are welded on both sides of the collar 5, 5A. As a specific example, in the blood pressure measurement device 1, a joining piece 99 is provided on the air bag 81, 101, and the joining piece 99 is welded to the outer peripheral surface of the collar 5A, and the sheet members 86, 106 are welded to the inner peripheral surface of the collar 5A, thereby welding the collar 5, 5A on both sides. By adopting such a configuration, the collar 5, 5A and the cuff structure 6 can be more firmly joined.
[0177] In addition, in the above-mentioned example, the configuration in which the first portion 5a of the collar 5A is provided with the same resin material as the palm cuff 71 and the dorsal cuff 74 is described, but the present invention is not limited thereto. Fig.23 As shown, in the sheet members 86, 106 constituting the air bags 81, 101 of the palm cuff 71 and the dorsal cuff 74 fused to the clamping ring 5, the sheet members 86, 106 opposite to the clamping ring 5 can be made into sheet members 86A, 106A of multi-layer structure, and the resin material on the clamping ring 5 side of the multi-layer structure sheet members 86A, 106A can be made of the same material as the resin material of the clamping ring 5.
[0178] In addition, for example, in the blood pressure measurement device 1, the timing of opening and closing the first opening and closing valve 16A and the second opening and closing valve 16B during blood pressure measurement is not limited to the above example, and can be set appropriately. In addition, the example in which the blood pressure measurement device 1 calculates the blood pressure based on the pressure measured by the blood pressure measurement during the pressurization process of the palm cuff 71 has been described, but the present invention is not limited to this, and the blood pressure can also be calculated during the decompression process, and the blood pressure can also be calculated during both the pressurization process and the decompression process.
[0179] In the above example, the palm cuff 71 is described as having the air bag 81 formed by each sheet member 86 , but the invention is not limited thereto. For example, in order to manage deformation and expansion of the palm cuff 71 , the air bag 81 may include other structures.
[0180] In addition, in the above example, the back plate 72 is described as having a plurality of grooves 72a, but the invention is not limited thereto. For example, in the back plate 72, the number and depth of the plurality of grooves 72a may be appropriately set to manage the ease of deformation, etc., and the back plate 72 may also include a member that suppresses deformation.
[0181] In addition, in the above-mentioned example, as the blood pressure measuring device 1, the structure of joining the collar 5, 5A and the cuff structure 6 by heat fusion is described, but it is not limited to this. For example, the blood pressure measuring device 1 can adopt a structure in which, in the manufacturing process of joining the cuff structure 6 to the collar 5, 5A, the cuff structure 6 is temporarily fixed to the collar 5, 5A by an adhesive layer such as a double-sided tape in advance, and then heat fusion is performed. In addition, the blood pressure measuring device 1 can also adopt a structure in which the collar 5, 5A and a part of the cuff structure 6 are joined by an adhesive layer such as a double-sided tape on the basis of heat fusion. The blood pressure measuring device 1 of these structures is a structure in which the collar 5, 5A and the cuff structure 6 are joined by temporary fixing, partial joining and joining by heat fusion by an adhesive layer, and therefore, fewer adhesive layers are required compared with joining by only an adhesive layer. Furthermore, temporary fixing and partial joining can be performed at the contacting portion between the collar 5, 5A and the cuff structure 6, so there is no need to provide a separate joining portion for joining using an adhesive layer. Therefore, the blood pressure measurement device 1 can be miniaturized.
[0182] In the above example, the blood pressure measuring device 1 is described using an example of a wearable device worn on the wrist 200, but the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, the blood pressure measuring device may be a blood pressure measuring device 1B that is wrapped around the upper arm to measure the blood pressure. Figure 24 to Figure 26The blood pressure measurement device 1B will be described. It should be noted that the same components of the present embodiment as those of the blood pressure measurement device 1 of the first embodiment described above are denoted by the same reference numerals and described, and their description and illustration are appropriately omitted.
[0183] For example, Figure 24 to Figure 26 As shown in FIG. 1 , the blood pressure measurement device 1B of the third embodiment includes a device body 3B and a cuff structure 6B. The device body 3B includes, for example, a housing 11B, a display unit 12, an operation unit 13, a pump 14, a flow path unit 15, an on-off valve 16, a pressure sensor 17, a power supply unit 18, and a control substrate 20. Fig.26 As shown, the device body 3B includes a pump 14, an on-off valve 16, and a pressure sensor 17.
[0184] The housing 11B is configured in a box shape, for example. The housing 11B has a mounting portion 11a for fixing the cuff structure 6B. The mounting portion 11a is, for example, an opening provided on the back surface of the housing 11B.
[0185] like Figure 24 to Figure 26 As shown, the cuff structure 6B includes: a collar 5B, which is made of a thermoplastic resin material; a pressing cuff 71B, which is provided on the biological body side of the collar 5B and is made of a thermoplastic resin material; and a bag-shaped cover 76, which is made of cloth or the like in which the collar 5B and the pressing cuff 71B are arranged. The cuff structure 6B is wrapped around the upper arm.
[0186] The collar 5B has, for example, a protrusion 5c fixed to the mounting portion 11a.
[0187] The pressing cuff 71B includes an air bag 81B and a tube provided in the air bag 81B and fluidically connected to the flow path 15. The pressing cuff 71B is accommodated in the bag-shaped cover 76 together with the collar 5B and is joined to the inner surface of the collar 5B by thermal welding.
[0188] The air bag 81B is formed in a rectangular shape that is long in one direction. The air bag 81B is formed by combining two sheet members 86 that are long in one direction and fusing the edges thereof with heat. Fig.25 As shown, the air bag 81B includes a first sheet member 86a and a second sheet member 86b constituting the air bag 81B together with the first sheet member 86a from the living body side.
[0189] The collar 5B and the air bag 81B of the pressing cuff 71B are joined by welding. In addition, the collar 5B and the pressing cuff 71B are similar to the collars 5 and 5A and the palm cuff 71 and the back cuff 74 described above, and at least the welded parts are made of the same material.
[0190] The blood pressure measurement device 1B configured in this manner joins the collar 5B and the pressing cuff 71B by welding, and at least the resin material of the welded portion of the collar 5B and the pressing cuff 71B is the same material. According to this configuration, the blood pressure measurement device 1 can be miniaturized and can perform high-precision blood pressure measurement stably for a long time, similarly to the blood pressure measurement device 1 of the first embodiment described above.
[0191] In addition, in the above-mentioned example, the back plate 72 is attached to the outer surface of the first sheet member 86a of the palm cuff 71 and the main surface of the biological body side of the sensing cuff 73 by an adhesive layer, a double-sided tape, etc., but it is not limited to this. That is, the back plate 72 can be fused to the palm cuff 71 and the sensing cuff 73 by heat, similar to the collar 5 of the first embodiment or the collar 5A of the second embodiment. For example, in the case of adopting such a structure, the back plate 72 can be formed of the same material as the palm cuff 71 and the sensing cuff 73 as the collar 5, and at least the part fused to the palm cuff 71 and the sensing cuff 73 can be formed of the same material as the palm cuff 71 and the sensing cuff 73 as the collar 5. In addition, the back plate 72 can also be fused to only one of the palm cuff 71 or the sensing cuff 73 by heat, and joined to the other by bonding.
[0192] That is, the above-mentioned embodiments are merely examples of the present invention in all aspects. Of course, various improvements and modifications can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. That is, when implementing the present invention, specific structures corresponding to the embodiments can also be appropriately adopted.
[0193] It should be noted that the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiments, and various modifications can be made in the implementation stage without departing from the scope of the main purpose. In addition, each embodiment can also be implemented in combination as appropriate, in which case the effect of the combination is obtained. Moreover, various inventions are included in the above-mentioned embodiments, and various inventions can be extracted by combining selected from a plurality of disclosed constituent elements. For example, in the case where a problem can be solved and an effect can be obtained even if several constituent elements are deleted from all the constituent elements shown in the embodiments, the composition in which the constituent elements are deleted can be extracted as an invention.
