Adjustment mechanism of a circuit breaker and corresponding circuit breaker

Abstract

Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to an adjustment mechanism of a circuit breaker and a corresponding circuit breaker. The adjustment mechanism includes an operating lever, a transmission lever, an adjustment block, a bracket, and an adjustment bolt. The operating lever is configured to operate a movable contact of the circuit breaker via a contact spring arranged between the operating lever and the movable contact. The transmission lever is pivotally coupled to the operating lever and configured to drive the operating lever to move toward or away from a stationary contact of the circuit breaker. The adjustment block is pivotally coupled to the transmission lever at a location different from the operating lever and includes a threaded hole. The bracket includes a first support element and a second support element spaced apart from the first support element along a first direction, each of the first and second support elements including a through hole extending along the first direction. The adjustment bolt extends through the through hole of the first support element, the threaded hole of the adjustment block, and the through hole of the second support element in sequence along the first direction, the adjustment bolt including external threads engaged with the threaded hole, such that when the adjustment bolt is actuated to rotate about its axis, the adjustment block slides between the first and second support elements along the first direction. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the travel of the contact spring can be adjusted in a convenient and precise manner.
