Abstract

A bus transmission delay control method, system, node, and storage medium are disclosed. The method is applied to a remote node RN in a 1394 bus system, comprising: in the current data transmission cycle, after receiving a STOF packet, monitoring the silence duration on the 1394 bus when the delay duration for data transmission by the node in the current cycle reaches its limit; calculating a new delay duration for data transmission by the node based on the silence duration; and in the next data transmission cycle, performing delayed data transmission after receiving an STOF packet based on the new delay duration; wherein the new delay duration is less than the delay duration of the node in the current data transmission cycle. The solution provided by this disclosure, based on the node structure of an established 1394 bus system, monitors the actual bus occupancy time of each node and makes corresponding adjustments to reduce the data transmission delay of each node, thereby achieving better transmission resource utilization and improving the overall data bandwidth of the system.
