Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a structure for improving durability of an ion filter, which allows cooling water to flow through the ion filter according to the need to remove ions from the cooling water. Background Art
[0002] The fuel cell stack installed in the fuel cell vehicle generates electricity by combining hydrogen stored in the hydrogen tank with oxygen in the air. In the process of the fuel cell stack generating electricity, the fuel cell stack generates water and heat. The generated electricity is supplied to the drive motor installed on the vehicle, and the water generated in the fuel cell stack is discharged to the outside through the outlet.
[0003] The heat generated by the chemical reaction in the fuel cell stack is discharged to the air through a thermal management system including stack cooling water, a cooling water pump and a radiator. The stack cooling water circulates through the inside of the fuel cell stack in the components of the thermal management system to maintain a uniform temperature inside the fuel cell stack. The thermal management system includes a radiator, an ion filter, a heater core and a cooling water pump.
[0004] It is important that the cooling water circulating in the thermal management system maintains non-conductive insulation properties. When the conductivity of the cooling water increases, the insulation resistance of the fuel cell stack decreases, increasing the risk of electric shock and damage to components. When the ion concentration in the cooling water increases, the conductivity increases, requiring the thermal management system to be configured so that the cooling water circulates to the ion filter.
[0005] However, since the ion filter used to remove ions from the cooling water is a consumable, the ion filter needs to be replaced when a certain time or mileage is exceeded. Generally, the ion filter is set to be in continuous contact with the cooling water circulating in the thermal management system, and the cationic resin of the ion filter acts as a catalyst to promote the oxidation of the cooling water, so that the oxidation of the cooling water can be accelerated. Therefore, there is a problem that the anions generated when the cooling water is oxidized shorten the durability of the ion filter, thereby shortening the replacement cycle of the ion filter. In addition, since the ion resin filter element of the ion filter needs to be replaced regularly, and the residual air in the new ion filter should be removed when the filter element is replaced, there is a problem of excessively high labor costs. Summary of the invention

Therefore, the detailed description is not intended to limit the present disclosure to the disclosed embodiments. In addition, it should be interpreted that the attached claims are intended to include another embodiment.
[0048] Figure 1 is a diagram illustrating a thermal management system including a structure for improving durability of an ion filter according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0049] Reference Figure 1, a fuel cell thermal management system may include a fuel cell stack 10, a radiator 20, an integrated control valve 30, a cooling water pump 40, a cathode (oxygen) oxygen consumption (COD) heater 50, a heater core 60, and a structure 1 for improving the durability of an ion filter. The fuel cell thermal management system uses cooling water to remove reaction heat of the fuel cell stack 10, controls the operating temperature of the fuel cell stack 10, and performs a water management function.
[0050] The fuel cell stack 10 may receive air and hydrogen to generate electricity through a chemical reaction. In order to dissipate heat generated as a byproduct of the chemical reaction of the fuel cell stack 10 , cooling water may be introduced into the fuel cell stack 10 .
[0051] The radiator 20 may re-cool the cooling water heated after the chemical reaction of the fuel cell stack 10. The cooled cooling water may flow into the integrated control valve 30.
[0052] The integrated control valve 30 may control the opening and closing of the valve according to the control mode of the fuel cell thermal management system. For example, the integrated control valve 30 may be a four-way valve, and the type of the integrated control valve 30 may not be particularly limited. Cooling water may be introduced into the integrated control valve 30 from the fuel cell stack 10, the radiator 20, and the heater core 60, and the cooling water may flow from the integrated control valve 30 to the cooling water pump 40. The flow rate and flow direction of the cooling water may be controlled according to the opening and closing of the integrated control valve 30.
[0053] The cooling water pump 40 may supply cooling water transferred from the integrated control valve 30 to the fuel cell stack 10 or the COD heater 50 .
[0054] The COD heater 50 may consume the power generated by the fuel cell stack 10 in order to increase the temperature of the cooling water when it is necessary to heat the cooling water or to reduce the voltage of the fuel cell stack 10. In particular, when regenerative braking is continuously performed when the fuel cell system is turned on or off and the state of charge (SOC) of the high voltage battery is sufficient, the COD heater 50 may be operated to consume the power generated by the fuel cell stack 10.
[0055] The heater core 60 may be connected to the rear end of the COD heater 50. The heater core 60 may transfer heat of the cooling water to an air conditioning device (not shown) in order to heat the interior of the vehicle. The heater core 60 may perform heat exchange between the cooling water heated by the COD heater 50 and the outdoor air. The cooling water passing through the heater core 60 may be introduced into the integrated control valve 30.
[0056] The structure 1 for improving the durability of the ion filter may include a reservoir 100, an ion filter 200, and a flow regulating valve 300. The reservoir 100 may store cooling water that circulates in a thermal management system. The cooling water discharged from the fuel cell stack 10 may be introduced into the reservoir 100 or the ion filter 200 through the flow regulating valve 300. The flow regulating valve 300 may allow the cooling water discharged from the fuel cell stack 10 to flow to the reservoir 100 or the ion filter 200. Therefore, the flow regulating valve 300 may be disposed between the fuel cell stack 10 and the reservoir 100 or between the fuel cell stack 10 and the ion filter 200. For example, the flow regulating valve 300 may be a three-way valve, but the present disclosure may not be particularly limited thereto.
[0057] The ion filter 200 may remove ions from the cooling water discharged from the fuel cell stack 10. The ion filter 200 may be disposed at the rear end of the flow regulating valve 300. The ion filter 200 may be connected to the reservoir 100 via the first pipe 410. The cooling water from which ions are removed by the ion filter 200 may be introduced into the reservoir 100 via the first pipe 410. The air or cooling water remaining in the ion filter 200 may move through the second pipe 430 according to the change in the water level of the cooling water in the ion filter 200. The second pipe 430 may serve as a channel through which air or cooling water moves by connecting the reservoir 100 and the ion filter 200. The cooling water and air introduced into the reservoir 100 may flow to the cooling water pump 40.
[0058] According to the embodiment of the present disclosure, since cooling water can be prevented from being always introduced into the ion filter 200 through the flow regulating valve 300 , the durability of the ion filter 200 can be improved.
[0059] Figure 2 is a block diagram for describing a control method of a structure for improving durability of an ion filter according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, Figure 3 is a diagram illustrating a structure for improving the durability of an ion filter according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0060] Reference Figures 1 to 3 , based on the arrangement position of the structure 1 for improving the durability of the ion filter, the ion filter 200 may be disposed above the reservoir 100. The highest water level at which cooling water may be introduced into the reservoir 100 may be predetermined. The bottom surface 205 of the ion filter 200 may be disposed at a position higher than or equal to the highest water level of the cooling water in the reservoir 100. Therefore, the cooling water may be prevented from flowing back from the reservoir 100 to the ion filter 200.
[0061] The reservoir 100 may include an inlet port 110 connected to a first pipeline 21 connecting the flow regulating valve 300 or the fuel cell stack 10 to the reservoir 100, an outlet port 130 connected to a third pipeline 25 connecting the cooling water pump 40 and the reservoir 100, and a degassing port 150 connected to an outlet manifold or a radiator 20 of the fuel cell stack 10. The degassing port 150 may be connected to the outlet manifold or the radiator 20 of the fuel cell stack 10 where trapped air is likely to exist, and to a pipeline for flowing trapped air and cooling water into the reservoir 100.
[0062] The ion filter 200 may include an inlet port 210 connected to a second pipeline 23, and the second pipeline 23 connects the flow regulating valve 300 and the ion filter 200. The first pipe 410 and the second pipe 430 connecting the ion filter 200 and the reservoir 100 may be set at a position higher than or equal to the highest water level of the cooling water in the reservoir 100. The second pipe 430 may be set at a position higher than the position of the first pipe 410. In order to reduce the flow rate of the cooling water discharged from the ion filter 200 to be less than the flow rate of the cooling water introduced into the ion filter 200, the diameter of the inlet port 210 of the ion filter 200 may be greater than the diameter of the first pipe 410. By the difference between the diameter of the inlet port 210 of the ion filter 200 and the diameter of the first pipe 410, the cooling water can be prevented from being introduced into the reservoir 100 in a state where ions in the cooling water are not removed by the ion filter 200.
[0063] Since the reservoir 100 and the ion filter 200 are connected by the second pipe 430 through which air moves, the reservoir 100 and the ion filter 200 are exposed to the same air pressure. Therefore, the sum of the water content and the air amount in the cooling water in the reservoir 100 and the ion filter 200 can always be kept constant.
[0064] The flow regulating valve 300 may be a three-way valve, and the second pipeline 23 may be a pipeline branched from the first pipeline 21. The flow regulating valve 300 may allow the cooling water discharged from the fuel cell stack 10 to flow directly to the reservoir 100, or may allow the cooling water to flow to the ion filter 200. The flow regulating valve 300 may be controlled by a controller 500 of the thermal management system. The controller 500 may determine the conductivity of the cooling water circulating in the thermal management system through the conductivity sensor 11 or based on the change in the insulation resistance of the fuel cell stack 10, and the change in the insulation resistance of the fuel cell stack 10 is measured by the insulation resistance measuring device 13. The controller 500 may detect the change in the water level of the cooling water in the ion filter 200 through the water level sensor 15 provided in the ion filter 200. The controller 500 may determine whether to allow the cooling water to pass through the ion filter 200 by controlling the flow regulating valve 300 based on the conductivity of the cooling water. Structure 1 for improving the durability of the ion filter can be controlled by the following modes: a bypass mode, in which cooling water is only introduced into the liquid reservoir 100 and is therefore not introduced into the ion filter 200; an ion filter injection mode, which indicates that cooling water is initially introduced into the ion filter 200; an ion filtration mode, which indicates a state in which the water level of the cooling water in the ion filter 200 is higher than or equal to a preset water level after the cooling water is introduced into the ion filter 200; and an ion filter discharge mode, in which the cooling water in the ion filter 200 is discharged to the outside of the ion filter 200.
[0065] According to one example, the bypass mode may indicate a case where the cooling water does not need to flow to the ion filter 200 according to the conductivity of the cooling water. The controller 500 may control the flow regulating valve 300 so that the cooling water discharged from the fuel cell stack 10 flows to the reservoir 100. The sum of the flow rate of the cooling water introduced through the inlet port 110 of the reservoir 100 and the flow rate of the cooling water introduced through the degassing port 150 may always be the same as the flow rate discharged through the outlet port 130 of the reservoir 100.
[0066] According to one example, the ion filter injection mode may represent a situation where the cooling water needs to flow to the ion filter 200 according to the conductivity of the cooling water. The controller 500 may control the flow regulating valve 300 so that the cooling water discharged from the fuel cell stack 10 flows to the ion filter 200. The situation where the cooling water needs to flow to the ion filter 200 according to the conductivity of the cooling water represents a situation where the conductivity of the cooling water or the insulation resistance of the fuel cell stack 10 meets a preset condition, so this may represent a situation where the conductivity is greater than or equal to a preset conductivity value or the insulation resistance of the fuel cell stack 10 is less than or equal to a preset insulation resistance value. The flow regulating valve 300 may be controlled to introduce the cooling water into the ion filter 200 and prevent the cooling water from being introduced into the reservoir 100. Since the diameter of the inlet port 210 of the ion filter 200 is greater than the diameter of the first pipe 410, the water level of the cooling water in the ion filter 200 may rise. As the water level of the cooling water in the ion filter 200 rises, the air present in the ion filter 200 may move to the reservoir 100 through the second pipe 430. As cooling water continues to be discharged from the outlet port 130 of the reservoir 100 to the cooling water pump 40, the water level of the cooling water in the reservoir 100 may drop. That is, as much air as the increase or decrease in the cooling water in the reservoir 100 and the ion filter 200 may move from the ion filter 200 to the reservoir 100.
[0067] According to one example, the ion filtering mode may represent a situation where the water level of the cooling water in the ion filter 200 is higher than or equal to a preset water level during the process of the cooling water flowing to the ion filter 200. In this case, the cooling water in the ion filter 200 may be moved to the reservoir 100 through the second pipe 430. When the water level of the cooling water in the ion filter 200 continues to rise even after all the air in the ion filter 200 is moved to the reservoir 100, the second pipe 430 may serve as a moving passage for cooling water rather than air. In order to prevent air from being introduced into the cooling water pump 40 from the reservoir 100, the internal volume of the reservoir 100 may be determined by considering the water content of the ion filter 200. In particular, in a state where the ion filter 200 is filled with cooling water to the maximum extent, the internal volume of the reservoir 100 may be determined to ensure the minimum water level of the cooling water in the reservoir 100.
[0068] According to one example, the ion filter discharge mode may represent a situation where the conductivity of the cooling water does not meet a preset condition due to the ion filter 200. The controller 500 may determine that there is no need to introduce the cooling water into the ion filter 200, and control the flow regulating valve 300 to allow the cooling water to flow to the reservoir 100. That is, the flow regulating valve 300 may be controlled to introduce the cooling water into the reservoir 100, and to prevent the cooling water from being introduced into the ion filter 200. Therefore, the water level of the cooling water in the ion filter 200 may drop, and the water level of the cooling water in the reservoir 100 may rise. As the water level of the cooling water in the ion filter 200 drops, the air in the reservoir 100 may move to the ion filter 200 through the second pipe 430. As the air in the reservoir 100 moves to the ion filter 200 through the second pipe 430, the cooling water remaining in the ion filter 200 may move to the reservoir 100.
[0069] According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, after the removal of ions from the cooling water is completed, the cooling water remaining in the ion filter 200 can be moved to the reservoir 100 according to the air flow moving from the reservoir 100 to the ion filter 200 through the second pipe 430. Therefore, the time for which the ion filter 200 is exposed to the cooling water can be reduced, so that the durability of the ion filter 200 can be improved.
[0070] Figure 4 FIG. 1 is a diagram showing a structure for improving the durability of an ion filter according to another embodiment of the present disclosure. Figure 3 Overlapping descriptions.
[0071] Reference Figure 4 , the structure 2 for improving the durability of the ion filter may include a flow regulating valve 310, which is configured to control the flow of cooling water to the ion filter 200. The second pipeline 23 connected to the ion filter 200 may be a pipeline branched from the first pipeline 21 that allows cooling water to flow from the fuel cell stack to the reservoir 100. The flow regulating valve 310 may be a two-way valve, and the flow regulating valve 310 may be disposed on the second pipeline 23. The flow regulating valve 310 may control the introduction of cooling water discharged from the fuel cell stack into the ion filter 200. For example, the flow regulating valve 310 may be an on / off valve. Since no separate valve is provided on the first pipeline 21, cooling water may always be introduced into the reservoir 100.
[0072] Based on the conductivity of cooling water circulating in the thermal management system or the insulation resistance of the fuel cell stack, it may be determined whether to introduce cooling water into the ion filter 200. That is, the flow regulating valve 310 may be controlled based on the necessity of removing ions from the cooling water through the ion filter 200.
[0073] According to one example, in the bypass mode where cooling water does not need to flow to the ion filter 200 according to the conductivity of the cooling water, the flow regulating valve 310 may be controlled to prevent the cooling water from being introduced into the ion filter 200 .
[0074] According to one example, in the ion filter injection mode in which the cooling water needs to flow to the ion filter 200 according to the conductivity of the cooling water, the flow regulating valve 310 may be opened to allow the cooling water to flow to the ion filter 200. In this case, since the first pipeline 21 is always in an open state, the cooling water discharged from the fuel cell stack 10 may also be introduced into the reservoir 100. Since the diameter of the inlet port 210 of the ion filter 200 is larger than the diameter of the first pipe 410, the water level of the cooling water in the ion filter 200 may rise. As the water level of the cooling water in the ion filter 200 rises, the air present in the ion filter 200 may move to the reservoir 100 through the second pipe 430. Although the cooling water is introduced into the reservoir 100 through the inlet port 110 of the reservoir 100, since the cooling water is continuously discharged from the outlet port 130 of the reservoir 100 to the cooling water pump 40, the water level of the cooling water in the reservoir 100 may drop. That is, air as much as the increase or decrease in the amount of cooling water in the reservoir 100 and the ion filter 200 can be moved from the ion filter 200 to the reservoir 100 .
[0075] According to one example, in an ion filtering mode in which the water level of the cooling water in the ion filter 200 is higher than or equal to a preset water level during the process in which the cooling water is introduced into the ion filter 200, the cooling water in the ion filter 200 can be moved to the reservoir 100 through the second pipe 430. When the water level of the cooling water in the ion filter 200 continues to rise even after all the air in the ion filter 200 is moved to the reservoir 100, the second pipe 430 can serve as a moving channel for cooling water instead of air. In order to prevent air from being introduced into the cooling water pump 40 from the reservoir 100, the internal volume of the reservoir 100 can be determined by considering the water content of the ion filter 200. In particular, in a state in which the ion filter 200 is filled with cooling water to the maximum extent, the internal volume of the reservoir 100 can be determined to ensure the minimum water level of the cooling water in the reservoir 100.
[0076] According to one example, in the ion filter discharge mode in which the conductivity of the cooling water does not satisfy the preset condition due to the ion filter 200, the flow regulating valve 310 may be closed to prevent the cooling water from being introduced into the ion filter 200.
[0077] According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, after the removal of ions from the cooling water is completed, the cooling water remaining in the ion filter 200 can be moved to the reservoir 100 according to the air flow moving from the reservoir 100 to the ion filter 200 through the second pipe 430. Therefore, the time for which the ion filter 200 is exposed to the cooling water can be reduced, so that the durability of the ion filter 200 can be improved.
[0078] According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a valve for controlling the flow path of cooling water to the reservoir 100 and the ion filter 200 may be a two-way valve or an on / off valve instead of a three-way valve, thereby reducing the construction cost of the structure 2 for improving the durability of the ion filter.
[0079] Figure 5 1 is a diagram showing a structure for improving the durability of an ion filter according to another embodiment of the present disclosure. To simplify the description, overlapping descriptions will be omitted. To describe the connection relationship between the reservoir and the ion filter, Figure 5 Only the outline of the ion filter is shown.
[0080] Reference Figure 5In the structure in which the reservoir 100 and the ion filter 200 are modularized, a structure 3 for improving the durability of the ion filter can be formed. The ion filter 200 may include: an inlet port 210 connected to the second pipeline 23 connecting the flow regulating valve 300 and the ion filter 200; an outlet port 230 configured to allow cooling water to flow to the reservoir 100; and a flow port 250 as a channel through which air or cooling water moves between the reservoir 100 and the ion filter 200. The outlet port 230 and the flow port 250 may be directly connected to the reservoir 100. Therefore, the pipeline for connecting the reservoir 100 and the ion filter 200 may be omitted, so that the manufacturing cost of the structure 3 for improving the durability of the ion filter can be reduced, and the total weight of the structure 3 for improving the durability of the ion filter can be reduced. However, the flow regulating valve 300 may be connected to the reservoir 100 through a first pipeline (not shown), and may be connected to the ion filter 200 through a second pipeline 23. As an example, the flow regulating valve 300 may be a three-way valve, but the present disclosure may not be particularly limited thereto.
[0081] Based on the arrangement position of the structure 3 for improving the durability of the ion filter, the ion filter 200 may be disposed above the reservoir 100. The bottom surface 205 of the ion filter 200 may be disposed at a position higher than or equal to the highest water level of the cooling water in the reservoir 100. The outlet port 230 and the flow port 250 may be disposed at a position higher than or equal to the highest water level of the cooling water in the reservoir 100. The flow port 250 is a port that serves as a passage through which air mainly moves, and may be disposed at a position higher than the outlet port 230 based on the bottom surface of the ion filter 200. The bottom surface of the ion filter 200 may be inclined based on the highest water level of the cooling water in the reservoir 100.
[0082] When the water level of the cooling water in the ion filter 200 rises, the air in the ion filter 200 can move to the reservoir 100 through the flow port 250. As the water level of the cooling water in the ion filter 200 drops, the air in the reservoir 100 can move to the ion filter 200 through the flow port 250. When the cooling water is not introduced into the ion filter 200 after the ion removal mode in the cooling water is released by the ion filter 200, the air in the reservoir 100 can move to the ion filter 200 through the flow port 250, so that the cooling water remaining in the ion filter 200 can be discharged to the reservoir 100. Therefore, the time for which the ion filter 200 is exposed to the cooling water can be reduced, so that the durability of the ion filter 200 can be improved.
[0083] Figure 6 is a diagram showing a structure for improving the durability of an ion filter according to still another embodiment of the present disclosure, Figure 7From another perspective Figure 6 Schematic diagram of a structure for improving the durability of an ion filter. Figure 5 To describe the connection between the reservoir and the ion filter, Figure 6 Only the outline of the ion filter is shown.
[0084] Reference Figure 6 and Figure 7 In the structure in which the reservoir 100, the ion filter 200, and the flow regulating valve 300 are all modularized, a structure 4 for improving the durability of the ion filter can be formed. The ion filter 200 may include: an inlet port 210 connected to the flow regulating valve 300; an outlet port 230 configured to allow cooling water to flow toward the reservoir 100; and a flow port 250 as a passage through which air or cooling water moves between the reservoir 100 and the ion filter 200. The outlet port 230 and the flow port 250 may be directly connected to the reservoir 100, and the inlet port 210 may be directly connected to the flow regulating valve 300. The flow regulating valve 300 may include: a first port 301 directly connected to the ion filter 200 and configured to allow cooling water to flow toward the ion filter 200; a second port 303 directly connected to the reservoir 100 and configured to allow cooling water to flow toward the reservoir 100; and a third port 305 connected to a pipeline through which cooling water discharged from the fuel cell stack flows. The first port 301 of the flow regulating valve 300 may be connected to the inlet port 210 of the ion filter 200, and the second port 303 of the flow regulating valve 300 may be connected to the inlet port 110 of the reservoir 100. As an example, the flow regulating valve 300 may be a three-way valve.
[0085] Based on the arrangement position of the structure 4 for improving the durability of the ion filter, the ion filter 200 may be disposed above the reservoir 100. The flow port 250 is a port as a passage through which air mainly moves, and may be disposed at a position higher than the outlet port 230 based on the bottom surface of the ion filter 200.
[0086] The ion filter 200 may include an inlet port 210 connected to the flow regulating valve 300, an outlet port 230 configured to move cooling water to the reservoir 100, and a flow port 250 configured to move air or cooling water together with the reservoir 100. When the water level of the cooling water in the ion filter 200 rises, the air in the ion filter 200 may move to the reservoir 100 through the flow port 250. When the water level of the cooling water in the ion filter 200 drops, the air may move from the reservoir 100 to the ion filter 200 through the flow port 250. Therefore, when the cooling water is not introduced into the ion filter 200 after the ions in the cooling water are removed by the ion filter 200, the air in the reservoir 100 may move to the ion filter 200, and thus the cooling water remaining in the ion filter 200 may move to the reservoir 100. Therefore, the time for which the ion filter 200 is exposed to the cooling water may be reduced, and thus the durability of the ion filter 200 may be improved.
[0087] According to the embodiment of the present disclosure, the pipe for connecting the liquid reservoir 100, the ion filter 200 and the flow regulating valve 300 can be omitted, so that the manufacturing cost of the structure 4 for improving the durability of the ion filter can be reduced, and the total weight of the structure 4 for improving the durability of the ion filter can be reduced. That is, according to the embodiment of the present disclosure, the structure in which the liquid reservoir 100, the ion filter 200 and the flow regulating valve 300 are modularized can be realized.
[0088] Figure 8 is a diagram illustrating a structure for improving the durability of an ion filter according to still another embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0089] Reference Figure 8 , the ion filter 200 applied to the structure 5 for improving the durability of the ion filter may include: an inlet port 210 connected to the second pipeline 23 through which the cooling water flows from the flow regulating valve 330; an outlet port 240 connected to the fourth pipeline 27 configured to discharge the cooling water from the ion filter 200 to the cooling water pump 40; and a flow component 430 configured to move air or cooling water together with the reservoir 100. As an example, the flow component 430 may be a pipe connecting the reservoir 100 and the ion filter 200. The flow component 430 may discharge the air in the ion filter 200 to the reservoir 100, introduce the air into the ion filter 200, or flow the cooling water from the ion filter 200 to the reservoir 100 according to the change of the water level of the cooling water in the ion filter 200.
[0090] The flow regulating valve 330 may be used to allow cooling water discharged from the fuel cell stack to flow to the reservoir 100 or the ion filter 200. The flow regulating valve 330 may be a three-way valve disposed in front of the reservoir 100 and the ion filter 200. The flow regulating valve 330 may be connected to the reservoir 100 through the first pipeline 21, and the first pipeline 21 may be connected to the inlet port 110 of the reservoir 100. The second pipeline 23 is a pipeline branched from the first pipeline 21, and may be connected to the flow regulating valve 330. That is, the flow regulating valve 300 may be disposed at a position where the first pipeline 21 and the second pipeline 23 are connected.
[0091] The reservoir 100 may include an outlet port 130 for discharging the cooling water toward the cooling water pump 40. The outlet port 130 may be connected to the third pipeline 25 connected to the cooling water pump 40. The fourth pipeline 27 may be connected to the third pipeline 25, and the cooling water discharged from the ion filter 200 may be supplied to the third pipeline 25. A cooling water on / off valve 350 may be provided on the fourth pipeline 27 to control the flow of the cooling water discharged from the ion filter 200. For example, the cooling water on / off valve 350 may be an on / off valve.
[0092] The bottom surface 205 of the ion filter 200 may be located below the highest water level of the cooling water in the reservoir 100. Ideally, the bottom surface 205 of the ion filter 200 should be located above the highest water level of the cooling water in the reservoir 100. However, when the bottom surface 205 of the ion filter 200 is located below the highest water level of the cooling water in the reservoir 100 in the layout of the structure 5 for improving the durability of the ion filter, in order to prevent the cooling water from flowing back from the reservoir 100 to the ion filter 200, the outlet port 240 of the ion filter 200 may be connected to the cooling water pump 40 instead of the reservoir 100.
[0093] According to one example, in the bypass mode where the cooling water does not need to flow to the ion filter 200 according to the conductivity of the cooling water, the flow regulating valve 330 may be controlled to allow the cooling water discharged from the fuel cell stack to flow to the reservoir 100. The sum of the flow rate of the cooling water introduced through the inlet port 110 of the reservoir 100 and the flow rate of the cooling water introduced through the degassing port 150 may always be the same as the flow rate discharged through the outlet port 130 of the reservoir 100. The cooling water on / off valve 350 may be in a closed state.
[0094] According to one example, in the ion filter injection mode in which the cooling water needs to flow to the ion filter 200 according to the conductivity of the cooling water, the flow regulating valve 330 can be controlled to make the cooling water discharged from the fuel cell stack flow to the ion filter 200. The situation in which the cooling water needs to flow to the ion filter 200 according to the conductivity of the cooling water indicates that the conductivity of the cooling water or the insulation resistance of the fuel cell stack 10 meets the preset condition, so this can indicate that the conductivity is greater than or equal to the preset conductivity value or the insulation resistance of the fuel cell stack is less than or equal to the preset insulation resistance value. The flow regulating valve 330 can be controlled to introduce the cooling water into the ion filter 200 and prevent the cooling water from being introduced into the reservoir 100. When the cooling water on / off valve 350 provided on the fourth pipeline 27 connected to the ion filter 200 is closed, the water level of the cooling water in the ion filter 200 may rise. As the water level of the cooling water in the ion filter 200 rises, the air present in the ion filter 200 can move to the reservoir 100 through the flow component 430. Since the cooling water is continuously discharged from the outlet port 130 of the reservoir 100 to the cooling water pump 40, the water level of the cooling water in the reservoir 100 may drop. That is, as much air as the increase or decrease of the cooling water in the reservoir 100 and the ion filter 200 can move from the ion filter 200 to the reservoir 100. In order to prevent the air in the ion filter 200 from being introduced into the cooling water pump 40, the cooling water can be continuously introduced into the ion filter 200 until the cooling water in the ion filter 200 reaches a preset water level. In this case, the cooling water on / off valve 350 can remain closed. The time when the cooling water is introduced into the ion filter 200 can be determined by a preset time according to the number of revolutions of the cooling water pump 40 or by a water level sensor located in the ion filter 200. In this case, the cooling water on / off valve 350 can remain closed.
[0095] According to one example, in the ion filtering mode in which the water level of the cooling water in the ion filter 200 is higher than or equal to the preset water level during the process in which the cooling water is introduced into the ion filter 200, the cooling water in the ion filter 200 can be moved to the reservoir 100 through the flow component 430. The cooling water on / off valve 350 is opened, so the cooling water in the ion filter 200 can be discharged toward the cooling water pump 40. When the water level of the cooling water in the ion filter 200 continues to rise even after all the air in the ion filter 200 is moved to the reservoir 100, the flow component 430 can serve as a moving passage for the cooling water instead of the air.
[0096] According to one example, in the ion filter discharge mode in which the conductivity of the cooling water does not satisfy the preset condition due to the ion filter 200, the flow regulating valve 330 may be controlled to allow the cooling water to flow to the reservoir 100. That is, the flow regulating valve 330 may be controlled to introduce the cooling water into the reservoir 100 and prevent the cooling water from being introduced into the ion filter 200. Therefore, the water level of the cooling water in the ion filter 200 may drop, and the water level of the cooling water in the reservoir 100 may rise. As the water level of the cooling water in the ion filter 200 drops, the air in the reservoir 100 may move to the ion filter 200 through the flow component 430. As the air in the reservoir 100 moves to the ion filter 200 through the flow component 430, the cooling water remaining in the ion filter 200 may move to the reservoir 100. In order to prevent the air in the ion filter 200 from being introduced into the cooling water pump 40, the cooling water on / off valve 350 may be kept in an open state until the cooling water in the ion filter 200 reaches a preset lower limit water level. When the cooling water in the ion filter 200 reaches the preset lower limit water level, the cooling water on / off valve 350 can be closed. The time when the cooling water on / off valve 350 is closed can be determined by a preset time according to the number of revolutions of the cooling water pump 40 or by a water level sensor located in the ion filter 200.
[0097] According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the cooling water on / off valve 350 may be opened until all the cooling water remaining in the ion filter 200 is discharged through the outlet port 240. In addition, as the water level of the cooling water in the reservoir 100 rises, air moves to the ion filter 200 through the flow component 430, and the cooling water in the ion filter 200 is discharged to the outside, so that the time for which the ion filter 200 is exposed to the cooling water can be reduced.
[0098] Fig. 9 FIG. 1 is a diagram showing a structure for improving the durability of an ion filter according to another embodiment of the present disclosure. Figure 8 Overlapping descriptions.
[0099] Reference Fig. 9 The ion filter 200 applied to the structure 6 for improving the durability of the ion filter may include: an inlet port 210 connected to the second pipeline 23 through which the cooling water discharged from the fuel cell stack flows; an outlet port 240 connected to the fourth pipeline 27 configured to discharge the cooling water from the ion filter 200 to the cooling water pump 40; and a flow component 430 configured to move air or cooling water together with the reservoir 100. As an example, the flow component 430 may be a pipe connecting the reservoir 100 and the ion filter 200.
[0100] The flow regulating valve 370 may be an on / off valve provided on the second pipeline 23. That is, the cooling water discharged from the fuel cell stack may be introduced into the reservoir 100 at all times, and only when it is determined that ions need to be removed from the cooling water, the flow regulating valve 370 is opened so that the cooling water may be introduced into the ion filter 200. After the removal of ions from the cooling water by the ion filter 200 is completed, the flow regulating valve 370 may be controlled to prevent the cooling water from being introduced into the ion filter 200. The cooling water in the ion filter 200 may be discharged toward the cooling water pump 40 through the outlet port 240, and the cooling water on / off valve 350 may be opened. In this case, the cooling water on / off valve 350 may be kept in an open state before the cooling water in the ion filter 200 reaches a preset lower limit water level, and the cooling water on / off valve 350 may be closed when the cooling water in the ion filter 200 reaches the preset lower limit water level. The time at which the cooling water on / off valve 350 is closed may be determined by a preset time according to the number of revolutions of the cooling water pump 40 or by a water level sensor located in the ion filter 200.
[0101] According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the cooling water on / off valve 350 may be opened until all the cooling water remaining in the ion filter 200 is discharged through the outlet port 240.
[0102] Fig.10 is a diagram illustrating a structure for improving the durability of an ion filter according to still another embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0103] Reference Fig.10, the ion filter 200 applied to the structure 7 for improving the durability of the ion filter may include: an inlet port 210 connected to the second pipeline 23 through which the cooling water discharged from the fuel cell stack flows; an outlet port 240 connected to the fourth pipeline 27 configured to discharge the cooling water from the ion filter 200 to the cooling water pump 40; and a flow component 470 configured to discharge the air in the ion filter 200 or introduce the air into the ion filter 200 according to the change of the water level of the cooling water in the ion filter 200. As an example, the flow component 470 may be a pressure reducing valve for discharging the air in the ion filter 200 to the outside or introducing the air into the ion filter 200. For example, the pressure reducing valve may be used to introduce the air into the ion filter 200 or discharge the air in the ion filter 200 based on the internal pressure of the ion filter 200. The flow regulating valve 370 may be provided on the second pipeline 23. However, the flow regulating valve 370 may be an on / off valve provided on the second pipeline 23, or a three-way valve provided at the point where the first pipeline 21 and the second pipeline 23 intersect.
[0104] According to one example, in the bypass mode where the cooling water need not flow to the ion filter 200 according to the conductivity of the cooling water, the flow regulating valve 370 may be controlled to prevent the cooling water discharged from the fuel cell stack from being introduced into the ion filter 200. The sum of the flow rate of the cooling water introduced through the inlet port 110 of the reservoir 100 and the flow rate of the cooling water introduced through the degassing port 150 may always be the same as the flow rate discharged through the outlet port 130 of the reservoir 100. In this case, the cooling water on / off valve 350 provided on the fourth pipeline 27 connected to the outlet port 240 configured to discharge the cooling water to the outside of the ion filter 200 may be in a closed state.
[0105] According to one example, in the ion filter injection mode in which the cooling water needs to flow to the ion filter 200 according to the conductivity of the cooling water, the flow regulating valve 370 can be opened to allow the cooling water discharged from the fuel cell stack to flow to the ion filter 200. Therefore, the water level of the cooling water in the ion filter 200 may rise, and the flow component 470 may be opened to discharge the air in the ion filter 200 to the outside. In this case, the cooling water on / off valve 350 may remain closed. Before the cooling water in the ion filter 200 reaches a preset water level, the flow regulating valve 370 may be opened. That is, when the cooling water in the ion filter 200 reaches a preset water level, the flow regulating valve 370 is closed so that the cooling water may not be introduced into the ion filter 200. The time when the cooling water is introduced into the ion filter 200 can be determined by a preset time according to the number of revolutions of the cooling water pump 40 or by a water level sensor located in the ion filter 200.
[0106] According to one example, in the ion filter discharge mode in which the conductivity of the cooling water does not satisfy the preset condition due to the ion filter 200, the flow regulating valve 370 may be controlled to allow the cooling water to flow to the reservoir 100. That is, the flow regulating valve 370 may be controlled to introduce the cooling water into the reservoir 100 and prevent the cooling water from being introduced into the ion filter 200. Therefore, the water level of the cooling water in the ion filter 200 may drop, and the water level of the cooling water in the reservoir 100 may rise. As the water level of the cooling water in the ion filter 200 drops, the flow component 470 may be opened, and as the flow component 470 is opened, air may be introduced into the ion filter 200. In order to prevent the air in the ion filter 200 from being introduced into the cooling water pump 40, the cooling water on / off valve 350 may be kept in an open state until the cooling water in the ion filter 200 reaches the preset lower limit water level. When the cooling water in the ion filter 200 reaches the preset lower limit water level, the cooling water on / off valve 350 may be closed. The time at which the cooling water on / off valve 350 is closed may be determined by a preset time according to the number of revolutions of the cooling water pump 40 or by a water level sensor located within the ion filter 200 .
[0107] According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, after the ion filter 200 performs ion removal treatment on the cooling water, air is introduced into the ion filter 200 through the flow component 470 serving as a pressure reducing valve according to changes in the water level of the cooling water in the ion filter 200, thereby preventing the cooling water from remaining in the ion filter 200.
[0108] According to the embodiments of the present disclosure, since cooling water can be prevented from being always introduced into the ion filter through the flow regulating valve, the durability of the ion filter can be improved.
[0109] According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, after the removal of ions from the cooling water is completed, the cooling water remaining in the ion filter can be moved to the reservoir according to the air flow from the reservoir to the ion filter through the second pipe. Therefore, the time for the ion filter to be exposed to the cooling water is reduced, thereby improving the durability of the ion filter.
[0110] According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a pipe for connecting a liquid reservoir and an ion filter may be omitted, so that the manufacturing cost of the structure for improving the durability of the ion filter may be reduced and the total weight of the structure for improving the durability of the ion filter may be reduced.
