Portable protection device for chemotherapy patients in oncology department

Abstract

This invention relates to a portable protective device for chemotherapy patients in oncology departments. A partition is fixed inside a protective box on one side of the waist belt, dividing the box into two spaces for holding an infusion pump and a blood pressure monitor, respectively. Second U-shaped openings corresponding to the connectors of the infusion pump and blood pressure monitor are provided on both sides of the protective box. A cover plate is rotatably provided on the outside of the protective box to protect the infusion pump and blood pressure monitor. A first airbag is fixed to the top of the waist belt. The two ends of an air pump on one side of an extension plate of the protective box are connected to the first airbag via an adjustment mechanism to control the air intake and exhaust of the first airbag. A second airbag is located on top of the first airbag and is connected to it. A collection bag is provided at the top of the first airbag to collect the patient's vomit. This invention solves the problem that existing nursing devices cannot collect vomit promptly during liquid medication delivery, requiring family members to clean up spilled vomit, increasing their workload.
