Abstract

This invention provides a traditional Chinese medicine composition and its preparation method, as well as its application in the preparation of hypoglycemic products, relating to the field of traditional Chinese medicine technology. The traditional Chinese medicine composition of this invention, by weight, is made from the following raw materials: 4-8 parts ginseng stem and leaf saponins, 8-16 parts astragalus polysaccharide, 6-12 parts astragaloside A, 8-16 parts catalpol, 6-12 parts rehmannia glycoside D, 8-16 parts verbascoside, 3-5 parts raspberry polysaccharide, 4-8 parts ellagic acid, 4-8 parts poria polysaccharide, 5-10 parts poria acid, 8-16 parts wolfberry polysaccharide, 40-62 parts schisandra, 20-40 parts dioscorea, 40-62 parts ophiopogon, 40-62 parts trichosanthes, and 40-62 parts alisma. This invention utilizes a high-voltage pulsed electric field to pretreat the traditional Chinese medicine raw materials, followed by two ethanol extractions. The yield of the traditional Chinese medicine extract is high, and the resulting traditional Chinese medicine composition, when mixed with other active ingredients, exhibits excellent therapeutic effects for type II diabetes.
