Abstract

This invention discloses a method and system for generating semantic BIM models of power distribution network equipment. The method includes the following steps: acquiring point cloud data and multi-view image data of power distribution network equipment; performing semantic segmentation and instance clustering on the point cloud data to generate a scene graph describing the connection relationships between individual power distribution network equipment units; extracting geometric parameters from the point cloud data of each individual power distribution network equipment unit; assigning topological connection semantics between corresponding BIM components based on the connection relationships described by the scene graph; automatically assembling BIM components according to the topological connection semantics to generate a semantic BIM model; processing the multi-view image data and mapping texture images onto the surfaces of corresponding BIM components in the semantic BIM model based on spatial registration results. This invention enables the automated generation of semantic BIM models of power distribution network equipment with higher accuracy and stronger realism.
