A circuit breaker or disconnector

Abstract

This application belongs to the field of switch technology, specifically a circuit breaker or disconnector. The moving contact assembly has an airflow channel connecting the space above the moving contact busbar and the space behind the moving contact. When the circuit breaker or disconnector is opened, the movement of the moving contact assembly forces airflow, guiding gas from the space behind the moving contact to the space above the moving contact busbar, replenishing the gas in the post-arc space. Alternatively, an opening structure can be added above the busbar to similarly guide gas from the space behind the moving contact to the space above the moving contact busbar. Or, an airflow channel can be created on the housing of the space above the moving contact busbar. By establishing this airflow channel, the pressure in the space above the moving contact busbar is strengthened, reducing the pressure difference with the arc-extinguishing grid space, thereby quickly replenishing the pressure in the space behind the arc, preventing arc fallback, and improving equipment safety.
