A dental occlusal center laser positioning device

Abstract

A laser positioning device for dental occlusal centers, belonging to the field of denture manufacturing technology, addresses the problems of cumbersome operation and low efficiency associated with using an occlusal center measuring ruler to locate occlusal contact points. It includes a base platform, an optical axis vertically fixed to the base platform via a locking seat, a lower bracket slidably mounted on the optical axis, a first elongated hole along the length of the lower bracket, and a second elongated hole along the length of the upper bracket. A locking screw passes through both the first and second elongated holes and connects to a back nut. A laser emitter is vertically fixed to the upper bracket. This invention uses a laser emitter to project a fine laser spot downwards, which is used to position the tooth at a preset alveolar ridge. The center of the tooth can be found visually based on the laser spot, eliminating the need to move the pointer as required by using an occlusal center measuring ruler, thus greatly improving the efficiency of denture fabrication and adjustment.
