[0003] The object of the present invention is to create a seating device for a vehicle and a vehicle with at least one such seating device, so that a particularly high level of comfort can be achieved.
[0004] This problem is solved according to the invention by a seating device with the features of claim 1 and by a vehicle with the features of claim 2. Advantageous embodiments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.
[0005] A first aspect of the invention relates to a seating device for a vehicle. This means that the vehicle, whose interior, also referred to as the passenger compartment or passenger space, is formed in its fully manufactured state by a body structure preferably designed as a self-supporting chassis, has the seating device in its fully manufactured state, which is arranged in particular within the interior. Most preferably, the vehicle is a motor vehicle, in particular a car, and most especially a passenger car. The seating device comprises a first seating arrangement, which is arranged in the interior of the vehicle in its fully manufactured state. Furthermore, the seating device comprises a second seating arrangement, which is arranged in the interior of the vehicle in its fully manufactured state.Particularly in the installed position of the seating device, which it assumes when the vehicle containing the seating device is fully manufactured, the second seating arrangement is positioned behind the first seating arrangement in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, specifically such that the first seating arrangement is at least partially overlapped by the second seating arrangement in the longitudinal direction to the rear. The first seating arrangement provides, for example, at least or exactly one first seat for a person, who can thus sit in the first seat, i.e., on the first seating arrangement. In particular, if the first seating arrangement provides exactly the first seat for a person, the first seating arrangement is, for example, designed as a single seat, also referred to as a vehicle seat. The second seating arrangement can provide at least or exactly one second seat for a person. In particular, it is conceivable that the second seating arrangement provides several second seats for individual persons. Thus, the second seating arrangement can be a single seat or a bench seat, especially a rear bench seat.
[0006] The seating arrangement also features an electrically operated adjustment mechanism, also referred to as an electric adjustment device. The characteristic that the adjustment device is electrically operated means that it can be supplied with electrical energy and thus operated. By means of the electrically operated adjustment device, at least a portion of the first seating arrangement can be electrically adjusted, and thus moved, in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the second seating arrangement, particularly through electrical operation of the adjustment device. For example, at least the portion of the first seating arrangement can be moved translationally, i.e., shifted, and / or rotated, i.e., turned or pivoted, in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the second seating arrangement by means of the adjustment device. In particular, the adjustment device can be used, for example, to move the entire first seating arrangement in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the second seating arrangement, especially translationally, particularly along at least one guide rail, which is attached, for example, to a floor of the body that at least partially defines the interior space in the vertical direction of the vehicle. Furthermore, it is conceivable that the part of the first seating arrangement is a backrest that can be pivoted, for example, by means of the adjustment device and thus electrically, about a pivot axis extending, in particular, in the transverse direction of the vehicle, relative to the second seating arrangement and, for example, also relative to a seat section of the first seating arrangement, so that, for example, the backrest can be pivoted rearward and forward in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the second seating arrangement using the adjustment device. If, for example, the adjustment device moves at least part of the first seating arrangement relative to the second seating arrangement in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle such that the adjustment device moves this part of the first seating arrangement rearward relative to the second seating arrangement and thus towards the second seating arrangement, then this reduces, for example, the longitudinal distance between this part of the first seating arrangement and the second seating arrangement. The adjustment device includes, for example, at least one electric motor by means of which the part of the first seating arrangement can be moved relative to the second seating arrangement in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.
[0007] In order to achieve a particularly high level of comfort in the seating arrangement, the invention provides at least one sensor device, in particular in addition to the adjustment device and / or in addition to the seating arrangements, by means of which at least one parameter can be detected that characterizes at least one object arranged in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle between the part of the first seating arrangement and the second seating arrangement. In particular, the sensor device is an electrical or electronic sensor device by means of which, for example, the parameter and thus, via the parameter, the object arranged between the part of the first seating arrangement and the second seating arrangement can be detected electrically or electronically. For example, the sensor device can provide at least one sensor signal, particularly an electrical one, which characterizes the parameter detected by the sensor device, i.e., the object detected by the sensor device. In particular, the object can be an item or a body part of a person, for example, sitting on the second seating arrangement, especially in the second seat.
[0008] According to the invention, an electronic computing device, also referred to as a control unit or designed as a control unit, is provided, which is configured to control the adjustment device, in particular actively and preferably automatically, depending on the parameter detected by the sensor device and thus depending on the object detected by the sensor device, and thereby, in particular actively and preferably automatically, to stop, that is, to at least temporarily terminate or interrupt, or prevent, an adjustment of at least part of the first seat assembly effected by the adjustment device in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the second seat assembly. This, for example, stops, that is, terminates or temporarily interrupts, an automatic adjustment of part of the first seat assembly.Furthermore, the characteristic that the electronic computing device stops or prevents the adjustment of at least part of the first seating system in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the second seating system by controlling the adjustment device is to be understood as meaning that an adjustment of at least part of the first seating system caused or effectable by means of the adjustment device is prevented in particular if, for example, a person operates a control element intended for operating the adjustment device and thus for effecting an adjustment of part of the first seating system via the adjustment device. In particular, the characteristic that the electronic computing device stops or can stop the adjustment of at least part of the seat system caused by the adjustment device in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the second seat system, is to be understood as meaning that the initial adjustment and thus movement of part of the first seat system caused by the adjustment device and relative to the second seat system is stopped, so that any further movement, and thus adjustment, of part of the first seat system relative to the second seat system caused by the adjustment device is prevented.Furthermore, it is understood that the electronic computing device, by adjusting the adjustment mechanism, prevents any movement of the initially stationary, i.e., immobile, part of the first seating arrangement relative to the second seating arrangement, whether effected or achievable by the adjustment mechanism. This means, for example, that the initially stationary and thus immobile part of the first seating arrangement cannot be moved relative to the second seating arrangement by means of the adjustment mechanism. In other words, the computing device, for example, prevents the commencement of any movement of the part of the first seating arrangement relative to the second seating arrangement that could be effected by the adjustment mechanism. In particular, the electronic computing device is designed to control the adjustment device depending on the parameter and thereby stop or prevent any adjustment, i.e., movement, of at least part of the first seating system caused by the adjustment device in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the second seating system and in the direction of the second seating system. For example, the electronic computing device is also designed to allow, i.e., to enable or permit, any adjustment, i.e., movement, of at least part of the first seating system caused by the adjustment device in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the second seating system and away from the second seating system. This means that the electronic computing device, by controlling the adjustment device, prevents or stops any movement of the part of the first seat assembly in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle towards the rear and thus towards the second seat assembly, while simultaneously allowing, and in particular simultaneously permitting, a movement of the part of the first seat assembly relative to the second seat assembly in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle towards the front and thus away from the second seat assembly. The invention thus makes it possible to prevent the object from becoming trapped between the part of the first seat assembly and the second seat assembly. The adjustment device is preferably designed in such a way that, for example, if the part of the first seating system is moved backwards in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the second seating system by means of the adjustment device, such that an object such as a body part of a person is trapped between the part of the first seating system and the second seating system, no injuries or pain occur to the person.Furthermore, the invention also avoids the potentially unpleasant and undesirable pinching of an object, such as a body part, between the part of the first seating system and the second seating system, or at least the invention can prevent the part of the first seating system from being moved so far backwards in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and thus in the direction of the second seating system by means of the adjustment device when an object, such as a body part of a person, is arranged in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle between the part of the first seating system and the second seating system that the freedom of movement of the object arranged between the part of the first seating system and the second seating system is excessively restricted.
[0009] In particular, the object in question can be an object located in a footwell between the first seating arrangement, which may be designed, for example, as a front seat, and the second seating arrangement, which may be designed, for example, as a rear seat. Since the invention prevents unfavorable movement of the part of the first seating arrangement in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the second seating arrangement, and in particular prevents excessive movement of this part of the first seating arrangement in the longitudinal direction relative to the second seating arrangement, especially in the direction of the second seating arrangement, it can, for example, prevent the object from being trapped or excessively restricting its freedom of movement, thus ensuring a particularly high level of comfort. In principle, for example, the first seating element can be moved within a defined adjustment range relative to the second seating element using the adjustment device. This adjustment range is limited on both sides by the respective end positions of the first seating element, which are part of the adjustment range. Therefore, the adjustment device can move the first seating element relative to the second seating element into its respective end position, but not beyond it. Specifically, the adjustment device can move the first seating element into its respective end position as well as into at least one or more intermediate positions within the adjustment range that lie between the end positions. The end positions and the intermediate position(s) of the first seating element are also referred to as the seating positions of the first seating element. The adjustment device allows the seating element to be moved relative to the second seating element into the respective seating position and, in particular, to be locked in the respective seating position relative to the second seating element. This allows the first seating element to be conveniently adjusted or repositioned using the adjustment device, so that the position(s) of the first seating element can be adapted to the different preferences of different users. The electronic computing device of the invention is designed to prevent any movement of the first seating element into at least one of its end positions, whether caused or effected by the adjustment device, by setting the adjustment device according to a parameter. At least one of the end positions is, for example, the one in which the part of the first seating system is arranged closer to the second seating system in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle than in the other end position. If, for example, the part of the first seating system is in the intermediate position between the end positions or in one of the intermediate positions between the end positions, and an object arranged in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle between the part of the first seating system and the second seating system is detected by means of the sensor device, in particular by detecting the parameter, the electronic computing device can control the adjustment device, in particular actively and in particular automatically, and thereby stop or prevent a movement of the part of the first seating system from the intermediate position in which the part of the first seating system is currently located, in particular in the direction of the second seating system and thus in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle to the rear, caused or effected by means of the adjustment device.
[0010] For example, if, during the procedure for operating the seat device, the part of the first seat system is moved by means of the adjustment device in such a way that the part of the first seat system comes into the aforementioned intermediate position, and if, in the intermediate position of the part of the first seat system, the sensor device detects that an object is located in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle between the part of the first seat system and the second seat system, then the electronic computing device controls the adjustment device and thereby prevents the part of the first seat system from being moved further from the intermediate position by means of the adjustment device, in particular in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle towards the rear and thus in the direction of the second seat system. For example, if the first seat section is at rest, i.e., not moving, and is in the aforementioned intermediate position, and the sensor detects that an object is located between the first and second seats in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, the electronic control unit activates the adjustment mechanism. This prevents any movement of the first seat section from the intermediate position, particularly in the longitudinal direction towards the rear and thus towards the second seat. Therefore, by activating the adjustment mechanism, the electronic control unit stops or prevents any movement of the first seat section relative to the second seat in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, thus ensuring a particularly high level of comfort.
[0011] For example, the electronic computing device can receive the sensor signal, which allows the electronic computing device to determine that the parameter characterizes the object, i.e., that the object is located in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle between the part of the first seating system and the second seating system.
[0012] In the invention, it is provided that the sensor device has at least one pressure sensor by means of which a pressure exerted at least indirectly on the pressure sensor by the object, and thus a force exerted at least indirectly on the pressure sensor by the object, can be detected as the parameter. This allows any object positioned longitudinally between the first and second seating sections of the vehicle to be detected reliably and precisely. This enables the electronic control unit to stop or prevent any movement of the first seating section, relative to the second seating section and specifically towards the rear, by controlling the adjustment mechanism. Such movement can only occur if and when an object is actually positioned longitudinally between the first and second seating sections. This ensures particularly advantageous and comfortable operation of the seating system.
[0013] In order to detect an object located longitudinally between the first and second seating systems with particular precision, the invention provides that the first seating system component is a trim panel facing the second seating system in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, which is also referred to as a back panel. For example, at least a portion of the first seating system is overlapped and thus covered in the rearward longitudinal direction by means of this trim panel. The pressure sensor is located on this panel.
[0014] In order to reliably and precisely detect an object that may be arranged longitudinally between the first and second seating sections of the vehicle, the invention also provides that the sensor device includes at least one optical sensor by means of which the object arranged longitudinally between the seating sections can be optically detected. The optical sensor is designed to emit light into its surroundings. If at least part of the emitted light is reflected by an object arranged longitudinally between the first and second seating sections of the vehicle, the optical sensor can detect the reflected light and consequently the object. Thus, the reflected light is the parameter mentioned. This allows for the advantageous detection of an object arranged longitudinally between the first and second seating sections of the vehicle.
[0015] The invention provides that the optical sensor is arranged on the roof of the vehicle, particularly the body, which defines the upper boundary of the vehicle's interior. This allows for the particularly precise detection of any object located longitudinally between the first and second seating sections. This enables, for example, the electronic computing unit to control the adjustment mechanism and prevent or stop any movement of the first seating section relative to the second seating section, particularly in the rearward direction towards the second seating section, if and only if an object is actually located longitudinally between the first and second seating sections. This ensures a particularly advantageous and comfortable operation.
[0016] A second aspect of the invention relates to a vehicle, preferably designed as a motor vehicle, in particular as a motor car, and most preferably as a passenger car, which has at least one seating device according to the first aspect of the invention. Advantages and advantageous embodiments of the first aspect of the invention are to be regarded as advantages and advantageous embodiments of the second aspect of the invention, and vice versa.
[0017] A third, unclaimed aspect relates to a method for operating a vehicle seating system. In this method, the seating system comprises a first seating arrangement, a second seating arrangement located behind the first seating arrangement in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and an electrically operated adjustment device. By means of this device, which is electrically powered during its operation, at least a portion of the seating arrangement can be electrically adjusted and thus moved in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the second seating arrangement.
[0018] To achieve a particularly high level of comfort, the method includes at least one sensor device that detects at least one parameter characterizing at least one object arranged longitudinally in the vehicle between the first and second seating sections. Specifically, the sensor device detects this parameter while the adjustment device moves the first seating section relative to the second seating section in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.
[0019] The method also includes an electronic computing device which, depending on the parameter, controls the adjustment device, in particular actively and / or automatically, and thereby, in particular actively and / or automatically, stops or prevents an adjustment of at least part of the first seating system caused by the adjustment device in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the second seating system, and in particular in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle towards the rear and thus in the direction of the second seating system. The feature that the electronic computing device controls the adjustment device depending on the parameter and thereby stops an adjustment of at least part of the first seating system caused by the adjustment device in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the second seating system, in particular in such a way, that a movement of the part of the first seating system in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the second seating system and in the direction of the second seating system, effected by means of the adjustment device, is prevented, in particular to be understood as follows: For example, the part of the first seating system is first moved in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the second seating system by means of the adjustment device by electrical operation of the adjustment device, in particular in such a way that the part of the first seating system is moved rearward in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and thus in the direction of the second seating system,Thus, it is moved towards the second seating arrangement. If, during or in the course of this movement or adjustment of the part of the first seating arrangement, which occurs in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the second seating arrangement and is effected by means of the adjustment device, and in particular in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle towards the second seating arrangement, the sensor device detects, based on the parameter, that an object is located in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle between the part of the first seating arrangement and the second seating arrangement, and thus the parameter characterizes an object arranged in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle between the part of the first seating arrangement and the second seating arrangement, then the electronic computing device controls the adjustment device, thereby stopping, or at least interrupting, the movement of the part of the first seating arrangement in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the second seating arrangement caused by the adjustment device.so that a further movement, i.e., adjustment, of the part of the first seat assembly, occurring in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the second seat assembly and in particular towards the rear in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and thus in the direction of the second seat assembly, effected by means of the adjustment device, is prevented. For example, and preferably only when the sensor device detects, in particular based on the parameter, that no object is located between the part of the first seat assembly and the second seat assembly in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, that is, preferably and most particularly only when the parameter no longer characterizes an object arranged in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle between the part of the first seat assembly and the second seat assembly, the electronic computing device, for example, outputs a movement effectable by means of the adjustment device.Movement of the first seat section in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the second seat section, and in particular towards the rear in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and thus towards the second seat section, is (again) free. The characteristic that the electronic computing device controls the adjustment device depending on the parameter and thereby prevents any adjustment, and thus movement, of at least the first seat section caused by the adjustment device in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the second seat section, and in particular towards the rear in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and thus towards the second seat section, is to be understood in particular as follows: If, for example, the first seat section is at rest, that is, if the first seat section is initially stationary, and is detected by the sensor device while the first seat section is stationary, i.e., not moving,If an object is located in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle between the part of the first seating arrangement and the second seating arrangement, and thus the parameter characterizes an object arranged in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle between the part of the first seating arrangement and the second seating arrangement, then the electronic computing device, in particular actively and / or automatically, controls the adjustment device, thereby preventing any adjustment, and thus movement, of the part of the first seating arrangement in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the second seating arrangement, in particular any adjustment, and thus movement, of the part of the first seating arrangement in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the second seating arrangement. Thus, for example, any movement of the part of the first seating arrangement in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the second seating arrangement is also prevented in the following cases:For example, if a person uses a control element intended for operating the adjustment device to perform an operation that is actually intended to effect a movement of the part of the first seat relative to the second seat assembly in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, in particular a movement towards the rear in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and thus in the direction of the second seat assembly, the initially stationary part of the first seat assembly cannot be set in motion relative to the second seat assembly in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, at least not in such a way that the initially stationary part of the first seat assembly is moved towards the rear in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and thus in the direction of the second seat assembly. As already explained in relation to the first aspect of the invention,This can thus prevent an unfavorable jamming of an object arranged longitudinally between the part of the first seating system and the second seating system, or an excessive restriction of the freedom of movement of an object arranged longitudinally between the part of the first seating system and the second seating system, so that a particularly high level of comfort can be achieved.
[0020] The electronic computing unit controls, for example, the adjustment device in such a way that, depending on the parameter—and thus when the object arranged longitudinally in the vehicle between the part of the first seating unit and the second seating unit is detected based on the parameter—the electronic computing unit provides a control signal, in particular an electrical one, which is also referred to as a stop signal. The adjustment device can receive the control signal, thereby controlling the adjustment device in such a way that the movement of the part of the first seating unit, relative to the second seating unit and effected by the adjustment device in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, is stopped or prevented.
[0021] Further details of the invention will become apparent from the following description of an embodiment not belonging to the invention, together with the accompanying drawings. These show: Fig. 1. A partial schematic perspective view of the interior of a vehicle; and Fig. 2. A flowchart illustrating a procedure for operating a vehicle seating device.
[0022] In the figures, identical or functionally equivalent elements are provided with the same reference numerals.
[0023] Fig. Figure 1 shows a partial schematic perspective view of the interior 1 of a vehicle designed here as a passenger car, the interior 1 of which is formed by a body designed here as a self-supporting structure. In the vehicle's vertical direction, the interior 1 is bounded upwards by a roof 2 of the body, and downwards by a floor 3 of the body. The vehicle's vertical direction is in Fig. 1 illustrated by a double arrow 4. Excerpt in Fig. Figure 1 shows a seating arrangement 5 of the vehicle, which comprises 5 seating units 6 and a seating unit 7. Each seating unit 6 is also referred to as the first seating unit 6 and is a single seat. In this case, each seating unit 6 is designed as a front seat. The seating unit 7 is also referred to as the second seating unit and is arranged behind the respective first seating unit 6 in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. The seating unit 7 is located in the Fig. The embodiment shown in Figure 1 is designed as a bench seat, in particular as a rear bench seat. Reference is made below to one of the first seating arrangements 6, whereby the preceding and following descriptions of one seating arrangement 6 can readily be applied to the other seating arrangement 6 and vice versa. It is evident that the seating arrangements 6 and 7 are arranged in the interior space 1. The seating arrangement 5 also has at least one electrically operated adjustment device 8 associated with the seating arrangement 6, by means of which at least a part of the first seating arrangement 6 can be electrically adjusted in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the second seating arrangement 7 by electrically operating the adjustment device 8. The part of the first seating arrangement 6 can comprise a backrest 9 of the first seating arrangement 6. As shown in Figure 1, the seat arrangement 6 can be adjusted in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the second seating arrangement 7. Fig. As illustrated by an arrow 10 in Figure 1, the backrest 9 of the seat assembly 6, or the part of the seat assembly 6, can be pivoted by means of the adjustment device 8 by electrical operation of the adjustment device 8, and thus electrically about a pivot axis extending, for example, in the transverse direction of the vehicle, relative to the second seat assembly 7, in particular such that the backrest 9 is inclined backwards about the pivot axis relative to the seat assembly 7 in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and thus adjusted backwards in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and thus moved backwards in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, whereby the backrest 9, or the part of the seat assembly 6, can be moved or is moved backwards in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and thus relative to the seat assembly 7 and thereby in the direction of the seat assembly 7.Alternatively or additionally, it can be provided that the entire seating system 6 can be moved translationally in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the seating system 7 and relative to the floor 3 by means of the adjustment device 8 by electrical operation of the adjustment device 8, which in . Fig. This is illustrated by double arrows 11. For example, if the part of the seat assembly 6 is moved backwards in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and thus in the direction of the seat assembly 7, by means of the adjustment device 8, then the distance between the part of the seat assembly 6 and the seat assembly 7, running in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, is reduced. This distance is illustrated, for example, by arrows 10 and 11.
[0024] To ensure a particularly high level of comfort, the seat assembly 5 has a sensor device 12, also referred to as sensor technology, by means of which at least one parameter can be detected that characterizes at least one object arranged in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle between the part of the seat assembly 6 and the second seat assembly 7. In other words, for example, in a Fig. If an object is arranged in the area of the interior 1 designated by T and positioned longitudinally between the part of the seat assembly 6 adjustable by means of the adjustment device 8 and the seat assembly 7, and is thus positioned longitudinally between the part of the seat assembly 6 adjustable by means of the adjustment device 8 and the seat assembly 7, then this object can be detected by means of the sensor device 12. For this purpose, the sensor device 12 detects the parameter that characterizes the object positioned longitudinally between the part of the seat assembly 6 and the seat assembly 7.
[0025] The seating device 5 also includes a Fig. 1 particularly schematically represented, electronic computing device 13, which is designed to control the adjustment device 8 depending on the parameter and thereby stop or prevent an adjustment and thus movement of at least part of the first seat system 6 caused by means of the adjustment device 8 in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the second seat system 7 and in particular in the longitudinal direction to the rear and thus in the direction of the second seat system 7.For example, the seat device 5 has at least one control element associated with the adjustment device 8 and thus with the seat system 6, which can be operated by a person, so that the person can perform or carry out an operation on or via the control element, which is intended, for example, to operate the adjustment device 8 in such a way that the adjustment device 8 adjusts and thus moves the part of the seat system 6 in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the seat system 7, in particular in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle towards the rear and thus in the direction of the seat system 7.For example, if the part of the seat system 6 is initially at rest, so that the part of the seat system 6 does not move and is therefore not adjusted relative to the seat system 7 by means of the adjustment device 8, and if, for example, the object arranged in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle between the part of the seat system 6 and the seat system 7 is detected by means of the sensor device 12 based on the parameter, while the part of the seat system 6 is at rest, i.e., does not move, and while a person performs or carries out the aforementioned operation on or via the control element, then the electronic computing device 13 controls the adjustment device 8 in such a way that a movement of the part of the seat system 6, which can be effected by means of the adjustment device 8 and which takes place in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the seat system 7 and in particular in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle towards the rear and thus in the direction of the seat system 7, does not begin. In other words, by having the electronic computing device 13 control the adjustment device 8 depending on the parameter, it is avoided, i.e. prevented, that the initially stationary part of the seat system 6 from being moved in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the seat system 7 by means of the adjustment device 8 as a result of the aforementioned operation, and in particular in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle towards the rear and thus in the direction of the seat system 7.For example, if the sensor device 12 detects, based on the parameter, an object or the aforementioned object arranged in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle between the part of the seat system 6 and the seat system 7, while, for example, as a result of the aforementioned operation, the adjustment device 8 moves the part of the seat system 6 relative to the seat system 7 and in particular in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle towards the rear and thus in the direction of the seat system 7, then, for example, the electronic computing device 13 controls the adjustment device 8, thereby stopping the adjustment and thus the movement of the part of the seat system 6 caused by the adjustment device 8 and relative to the seat system 7 and in particular in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle towards the rear and in the direction of the seat system 7.This prevents any further movement of the part of the seat assembly 6 in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the seat assembly 7, and in particular in the longitudinal direction towards the rear of the vehicle and towards the seat assembly 7, so that the part of the seat assembly 6 cannot, for example, move further backwards in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. This prevents the object from being trapped between the part of the seat assembly 6 and the seat assembly 7, or from being excessively restricted in its freedom of movement. It is conceivable that, in particular while the electronic computing device 13 prevents the movement of the part of the seat 6 in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the seat assembly 7, and in particular in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle towards the rear and thus towards the seat assembly 7, effected by means of the adjusting device 8, it releases a movement of the part of the seat 6 that can be effected by means of the adjusting device 8 in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the seat assembly 7 and thereby in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle towards the front and thus away from the seat assembly 7, so that the part of the seat assembly 6 can no longer be moved in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle towards the rear by means of the adjusting device 8, but can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle towards the front and thus away from the seat assembly 7.
[0026] For example, the sensor device 12 has an optical sensor, which in this case is designed as a camera 14. The camera 14 can, for example, capture an image of the object as a parameter. In other words, the camera 14 can, for example, capture an image of the sub-area T. The image is then subjected to image processing, which is carried out, for example, by the electronic computing device 13. If the image processing, and thus the image, detects that an object is located in the sub-area T, the electronic computing device 13 controls the adjustment device 8, thereby stopping or preventing the adjustment of at least part of the first seat 6, which is effected or can be effected by the adjustment device 8 in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the second seat 7.
[0027] The sensor device 12 also includes at least one in Fig. Figure 1 shows a particularly schematic representation of pressure sensor 15. Pressure sensor 15 is, for example, a force sensor or is also referred to as a force sensor. Pressure sensor 15 can, for example, detect a force exerted at least indirectly on pressure sensor 15 by the object, and thus a pressure exerted at least indirectly on pressure sensor 15 by the object. The force or pressure is the parameter mentioned, so that the object can be detected using this parameter. In the case of the Fig. In the embodiment shown in Figure 1, the pressure sensor 15 is arranged on a trim part 16 of the seat system 6, wherein at least a partial area of the seat system 6 is overlapped and thus covered in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle towards the rear and thus towards the seat system 7 by means of the trim part 16.
[0028] Fig.Figure 2 shows a flowchart illustrating a method for operating the seat assembly 5. In a first step S1 of the method, the parameter is detected by the sensor device 12, and the object located in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle between the part of the seat assembly 6 and the seat assembly 7 is detected based on this parameter. In a second step S2 of the method, the electronic computing unit 13 controls the adjustment device 8 based on the parameter detected by the sensor device 12 and thus based on the object detected by the sensor device 12. The electronic computing unit 13 thereby stops or prevents the adjustment, and thus the movement, of at least part of the seat assembly 6 that is effected or can be effected by the adjustment device 8 in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the second seat assembly 7. This ensures a particularly high level of comfort.
