Abstract

The present invention relates to a device for extracorporeal blood treatment, comprising a control unit designed to perform a method for determining an endpoint of a priming process, wherein the method comprises at least two phases, wherein in the first phase a pressure-independent aspiration of blood is performed and upon reaching a switching point a switch is made to a second phase, wherein in the second phase a pressure-controlled aspiration of blood is performed.
