Abstract
The present invention relates to a method and a device for verifying an air sensor (250) in an extracorporeal blood treatment device (200), wherein the method comprises passing a mixture of blood and air through the air sensor (250) of the extracorporeal blood treatment device (200) and measuring a measured air quantity (Am) with the air sensor (250), and passing the mixture of blood and air into a measuring chamber (132) of a verification device (100), as well as taking an X-ray image (510) of the mixture of blood and air in the measuring chamber (132) of the verification device (100) and determining a determined air quantity (Ad) in the mixture of blood and air based on the X-ray image (510); and verifying the air quantity (Am) measured with the air sensor (250) by the air quantity (Ad) determined in the verification device (100) by means of the X-ray image (510).
