Abstract

The invention relates to a control arrangement for operating a motor vehicle locking system (2), wherein the control arrangement (1) is configured to control an electric drive (3) of the motor vehicle locking system (2) to provide a motorized locking function for an adjustable locking element (4) of the motor vehicle (5), wherein the control arrangement (1) comprises an emergency power supply circuit (7) with an energy storage arrangement (8) comprising at least one energy storage device, in particular at least one capacitor (9), wherein the emergency power supply circuit (7) provides an emergency electrical supply voltage for the drive (3) in emergency operation, in particular in the event of a failure of the vehicle's electrical system. It is proposed that the emergency power supply circuit (7) also provide the emergency supply voltage for the drive (3) during normal operation, so that the drive (3) is supplied with energy from the energy storage arrangement (8) in both emergency and normal operation.
