Abstract

An aid for compressing tobacco when rolling cigarettes, characterized in that, starting from a flat blank of cardboard, paper, or foil, a suitable aid for compressing the tobacco can be generated by folding it over suitable bending contours. Figures 1 and 2 show an advantageous embodiment.

Description

Cigarette paper packets which are customary on the market generally contain the paper packets for self-turning cigarettes (with cut tobaccos and other smoking articles). Also known are packets which, in addition to the paper sheets for rotating the cigarettes, also contain somewhat thicker paper strips for forming mouthpieces. Prefabricated mouthpieces-partly with active carbon filters-are also already integrated into packets and offered as turning sets.However, these products lack a simple and yet practical aid in plugging the cigarette. Since experience has shown that the open area remains loose when the cigarettes are rotated manually, an aid for compacting the loose tobacco on the open cigarette side would be desirable. Especially in the case of beam-shaped cigarettes with crumbly smoking articles, an aid would be practical. The term cigarette is therefore intended to mean all forms of paper wrappered smoking articles.The invention specified in claim 1 is therefore based on the object of integrating a simple auxiliary for compacting the smoking articles into a cigarette paper packet or cigarette turning set.c. This object is achieved with the features specified in claim 1.The invention achieves that the consumer can be provided with a practical aid for compacting the loose tobacco at the open end of the cigarette with the smallest possible material outlay and by simple integration into the packet.Embodiments of the invention will be explained with reference to Figs. 1-5. In solutions integrated into the wrapper sheets of cigarette paper packets or sets, the packaging material of the wrapper determines the materiality of the auxiliary agent. In the case of inserted variants, the material of the auxiliary can be freely selected. Then, thicker material qualities can provide more stable tools. In principle, however, the embodiment variant shown in the drawings already produces good stability of the aid in the case of conventional carton qualities of the conventional sets.If the stuffing aid is not to be offered with a set, it can also be integrated into the lid of the cigarette paper packet. As shown on the outer sheet in FIGS. 3 and 4, it can also be integrated into the lid of the cigarette paper pack or into another pack in a hanging manner for severing or in a hanging manner for folding out and in.

In this case, FIG. 3 shows a set packet consisting of a stack of filter tips (b.)), a packet with cigarette paper sheets (c.)) and the set jacket sheet (e.)), which contains the auxiliary means (d.)) which can be torn off via a predetermined breaking point and a slot (a.)) for later insertion of the auxiliary means for storage. FIG. 4 shows a further advantageous embodiment of the aid - a set packet consisting of a stack of filter tips (b.)), a packet with cigarette paper sheets (c.)) and the set jacket sheet (e.)) to which the aid (d.)) is attached via a fold line for folding out and in.
