Abstract
Device for rotation-based analysis methods comprising (a) An engine, (b) A rotatable shaft which is at least temporarily torque-coupled to the rotor of the motor or is a component of the rotor, (c) At least one first coil which is operated with a time-varying current and is arranged independently of the rotatable shaft, (d) At least one second coil which is at least temporarily connected to the rotatable shaft in a rotationally driving manner, (e) An electrical circuit which converts a time-varying current into direct current, which is designed to provide a power of at least 16 watts and is at least temporarily connected to the rotatable shaft in a rotationally entraining manner, (f) At least one cartridge with a fluidic chamber and channel structure, wherein the cartridge is at least temporarily connected to the rotatable shaft in a rotationally driving manner, (g) At least one actuator which applies heat to the cartridge in order to provide the conditions for a biochemical process and is at least temporarily connected to the rotatable shaft in a rotationally entrained manner, wherein the heat application to the cartridge is supported by the heat loss of the coils.
