Fire damper system

Abstract

Fire damper assembly (1) with a housing (2) surrounding a flow channel (3), in which a butterfly valve (5) is pivotably mounted such that the butterfly valve (5) can be moved from an opening position releasing the flow channel (3) to a closed position tightly closing the flow channel (3), wherein the fire damper assembly (1) has an actuating device (7) with which the butterfly valve (5) can be moved from the opening position to the closed position, wherein the fire damper assembly (1) has a retaining device (11) with which actuation of the actuating device (7) can be prevented and the butterfly valve (5) can be retained in the opening position during normal operation, wherein the retaining device (11) has a heat-deformable first locking element (19),which deforms in the event of a fire and thereby releases a first actuating release element (15) of the actuating device (7) which is blocked by the undeformed first locking element (19), thereby triggering the actuating of the actuating device (7), and wherein the retaining device (11) has a second locking element (18) that can be actuated by a release signal, which, triggered by the release signal, releases a second actuating release element (16) which is blocked by the second locking element (18), thereby triggering the actuating of the actuating device (7), characterized in that the retaining device (11) is arranged outside the housing (2) surrounding the flow channel (3) and the first locking element (19) is freely accessible at least partially from outside the fire damper device (1).
