Abstract

Artificial turf system (100) for providing an artificial turf segment (10) laid on a base area (200), comprising: - an artificial turf segment (10) comprising a planar support element (11) and a plurality of artificial turf fibers (12) attached thereto; and - a fastening device (30) for fastening the artificial turf segment (10) when the artificial turf segment (10) is laid on the base area (200);wherein the fastening device (30) has a fastening section (31) and a claw section (33) which are designed such that the fastening device (30) can be fastened via the fastening section (31) to a support body (301, 302) arranged laterally next to the base surface (200) and, in a state fastened to the support body (301, 302), the claw section (33) at least partially penetrates the support element (11) of the plastic turf segment (10) in order to fix an edge section of the plastic turf segment (10) relative to the support body (301, 302) when the plastic turf segment (10) is laid on the base surface (200).
