Abstract
Description
Technical field of innovation The innovation refers to a container for refuse and the like, with a removable inner container and a hand brush that also serves as a lid. The waste container is intended primarily, but not exclusively, for use in recreational vehicles such as motorhomes, caravans and boats. Space is limited in recreational vehicles. Items stored loose in cupboards cause rattling noises while driving. Due to the limited payload capacity, the weight of all necessary items should be kept to a minimum. Description The innovation is based on the task of solving the aforementioned problems by giving hand brooms and dustpans / rubbish bins a permanently assigned, rattle-free place and by designing and manufacturing them to be small and lightweight. This problem is solved by mounting a housing (1) recessed into a surface (2). The surface (2) can, for example, be the floor surface. A removable waste container (3), which can also be used as a dustpan, is located inside the housing (1). A removable hand brush (4) is located inside the waste container (3). The hand brush handle (5) simultaneously serves as a lid for the waste container (3). The hand brush handle (5) itself, or the back of the hand brush handle (6), can, but does not have to, be made of the same material as the surface (2), resulting in an integrated appearance. The risk of rattling during travel is reduced by the fact that the waste container (3) is held in the housing (1) under slight mechanical preload; the same applies to the hand brush (4) inside the waste container (3). To remove the hand brush (4), for example, a finger hole, a recess, or a raised area in or on the hand brush handle can be used as a grip, or recesses in the support surface (7) of the hand brush handle can be used as a pivot point. In this way, by pressing on one end (8 or 9) of the hand brush handle (4), the other end (9 or 8) can be moved upwards from its seat via leverage and thus removed from its position despite the essentially closed and flat surface of the hand brush handle (5). The removable waste container (3) can be taken out of its position and used as a dustpan or left in place, as it is recessed into the surface along with the housing and the waste can be swept directly into it with the hand brush (4). To facilitate removal of the waste container (3) from the housing (1), the housing may be provided with at least one handle, a recess, a raised section, or ribs serving as a handle. The description details exemplary embodiments of the surface-integrated refuse container with housing and hand brush functioning as a lid, as described in the drawings. Figure 1 shows a perspective view of the waste container group with the hand broom and waste container still in place. Figure 2 shows a perspective view with the hand broom removed. Figure 3 shows a perspective view with the waste container removed, but without the hand broom. Claims
A waste container group comprising at least one housing, at least one removable waste container, and at least one removable hand brush or broom head, characterized in that the waste container group is suitable for installation recessed into a surface, and the hand brush handle or broom back substantially closes the opening of the waste container and thus serves as a lid for the waste container, and the hand brush or broom head offers a means of removal from its position without additional tools. Container according to claim 1, characterized in that the hand brush is moved upwards from its place by pressure on one end of the hand brush handle via a lever action and can thus be removed from its place without further aids despite the substantially closed and flat surface of the hand brush handle.
