Abstract

Virtual interaction device comprising: - a display screen (3) that can be seen by a user; - a processing unit (4) configured to generate and display on the screen (3) at least one cognitive exercise which involves selecting and moving one or more of the virtual elements (VEs) displayed on the screen (3) in order to achieve one or more objectives; - a control system (5) comprising: a plurality of pointing devices (6) that can be selectively associated with the processing unit (4) and configured to translate a movement of a part of the user's body into a corresponding movement of one or more virtual elements (VEs) on the screen (3);at least one selector device (7) that is associated with the processing unit (4) and can be configured to convert a user-issued command into an action to select or release one or more virtual elements (VEs); and wherein the processing unit (4) is configured to: - display a variety of execution modes of the cognitive exercise to the user via the screen (3); - identify one or more pointer devices (6) that are compatible with an execution mode selected by the user; - activate a single pointer device (6) according to a preset priority and / or according to a preference expressed by the user; - activate the selector device (7);- to configure the individual activated pointer device (6) and / or the activated selector device (7) according to the user's requirements by: ◯ initiating a calibration process for the individual activated pointer device (6) and / or for the activated selector device (7), or ◯ configuring the individual activated pointer device (6) and / or the activated selector device (7) according to an existing configuration associated with the user.;
