Description

[0001] The invention relates to a fitting for fastening a frame in a wall opening, comprising a holder for fastening to a frame and comprising a first clamping angle and a second clamping angle which are guided displaceably relative to one another in order to change the span of the clamping angles, wherein only the first clamping angle is guided displaceably on the holder and the second clamping angle is guided displaceably only on the first clamping angle.

[0002] Such a fitting is known, for example, from EP 3 540 165 A1. The holder is formed by a retaining plate that covers the two clamping brackets with a central surface. Two guide elements recessed on the sides of the retaining plate serve to guide an outer clamping bracket, on which, in turn, an inner clamping bracket is slidably guided.

[0003] WO 2018 / 202960 A1 discloses a frame fitting with two angle profiles that can be moved relative to each other in the clamping direction, and a cover profile that extends perpendicular to the clamping or sliding direction of the two angle profiles. The two angle profiles are guided on the two profile ends of the cover profile so that they can be moved in the sliding direction. Both angle profiles are guided on the cover profile so that they can be moved.

[0004] EP 0 389 809 A2 discloses a frame fitting with two clamping brackets and a retaining element. The two clamping brackets are guided on a frame member by means of a guide, each movable in the clamping or sliding direction. A screw with opposing threaded shafts acts between the two clamping brackets to move the two clamping brackets relative to each other. Both clamping brackets are guided on the guide.

[0005] In US 1 855 470 A, two frame halves are clamped to a door frame. A plate with a guide plate, a recess, and two claws is attached to one frame half, and an angle plate with a pin and a ratchet is attached to the other frame half. When the two frame halves are pushed together, the recess is guided on the pin, and the two claws on the pin are deflected in opposite directions to engage behind the two ratchets. The two plates are each attached to the frame halves and slide into each other.

[0006] The invention is based on the object of providing an alternative fitting for fastening frames.

[0007] This object is achieved according to the invention in a fitting mentioned above in that two threaded screws are arranged on either side of the rail, each of which extends through a through-hole in the second clamping bracket and is screwed into a threaded opening in the first clamping bracket in order to displace the two clamping brackets relative to one another. Advantageously, the rail has rail sections on both sides, over which and under which the guide sections of the first clamping bracket engage, in order to hold the first clamping bracket on the rail and to guide it displaceably.

[0008] Particularly preferably, the rail is designed as a U-, I- or trapezoidal profile with profile ends that are angled outwards or inwards and are engaged over and under by the first clamping angle, as a semicircular profile with curved profile ends that are engaged over and under by the first clamping angle, or as a U-profile with profile grooves provided in the two side legs of the U-profile, into which the first clamping angle engages.

[0009] The first clamping bracket preferably comprises a slide that is slidably guided along the rail, and an angle element. The slide and the angle element can be manufactured together as a single part or as two separate parts that are attached to one another. The two-part design of the first clamping bracket, consisting of an angle element and a slide, has the advantage that, depending on the wall thickness, slides and rails of different lengths can be selected, thus providing a fitting of the appropriate length. The second clamping bracket, in turn, can be formed as a single piece, an angle element.

[0010] Particularly preferably, a slide of the first clamping bracket has threaded openings for the two threaded screws to slide the two clamping brackets against each other and clamp a wall between them. The threaded screws serve as adjusting means for adjusting the clamping width of the clamping brackets. The clamping width of the clamping brackets is reduced by the threaded screws until a sufficient clamping force of the fitting on the wall is achieved.

[0011] The second clamping angle preferably engages under the first clamping angle with at least one base leg, in particular a base leg of the first clamping angle, and is guided on the first clamping angle.

[0012] Preferably, the rail has a tab with an opening projecting perpendicularly from the rail base at its end facing the second clamping bracket, and the second clamping bracket has a tab with an opening projecting upwards. A locking screw can be screwed or is screwed into these two openings to secure the two clamping brackets in a desired sliding position on the rail. A plastic guide bushing is arranged in the opening of the second clamping bracket, into which the locking screw is captively screwed for pre-assembly purposes.

[0013] To install the fitting, the rail is attached to a frame base at a specified distance from a front edge of the frame. The first clamping bracket is guided along the rail until it rests against a frame leg. The frame is placed in a wall opening and the first clamping bracket is placed against the wall. The second clamping bracket is pushed under the first clamping bracket until it rests against the wall on the opposite side. The clamping brackets are clamped to the wall by tightening the threaded screws. The locking screw rigidly fixes the second clamping bracket to the rail, thus securing the frame to the wall.

[0014] Preferably, the rail and / or the carriage are designed as folded sheets.

[0015] Further advantages of the invention will become apparent from the description, the claims, and the drawings. Likewise, the above-mentioned and further listed features can be used individually or in combination. The embodiments shown and described are not intended to be exhaustive, but rather are exemplary in nature for describing the invention.

[0016] They show: Fig. 1 shows an exploded view of the fitting according to the invention; Figs. 2a-2c show the mounting of the fitting on the frame; Fig. 3 shows a detailed view of the fitting according to the invention; Fig. 4 shows a modified first clamping angle of the fitting according to the invention; Figs. 5a-5d show profile variants for guiding a first clamping angle on a rail of the fitting according to the invention; and Figs. 6a-6d each show an end view of the Fign. 5a-5d shown profile variants.

[0017] The Fig. 1 fitting shown 1 used to attach a frame (door frame) 2 ( Fign. 2a-2c ) in a wall opening, especially a masonry opening.

[0018] Fitting 1 includes a rail 3 for attachment to frame 2, as well as a first clamping angle 4a and a second clamping angle 4b, which are guided to one another in order to change the span of the clamping angles 4a, 4b. The first clamping angle 4a is guided to the rail 3 and the second clamping angle 4b is guided to the first clamping angle 4a. The two clamping angles 4a, 4b each have a right-angled angle element 5a, 5b with a base leg 6a, 6b and a raised attachment leg 7a, 7b whereby the opening wall of the wall opening is clamped between the two upstanding contact legs 7a, 7b.

[0019] The rail 3 is a U-profile open at the top with outwardly angled, parallel to the profile base 8 running profile ends 9. Instead of a U-profile, the rail 3 can also be a trapezoidal profile open at the top with outwardly angled profile ends running parallel to the profile base.

[0020] The first clamping angle 4a has a slide extending the bottom leg 6a of the angle element 5a 10 to which the angle element 5a is attached, e.g., welded, and which is slidably guided on the rail 3. The two-part design of the first clamping angle 4a consisting of angle element 5a and slide 10 has the advantage that, depending on the wall thickness, slides 10 of different lengths can be selected in order to provide a fitting 1 of a suitable length.

[0021] The carriage 10 has a central guide gap 11with two facing, diagonally downward angled, lower guide sections (here inner edges) 12. The guide gap 11 is formed by one or more upper guide sections (here crossbars) arranged one behind the other in the longitudinal direction of the carriage 10. 13 which extend above the lower guide sections 12. The carriage 10 has on both sides of the gap 11 an upwardly open, trough-shaped longitudinal recess 14 which are arranged in series in the longitudinal direction of the carriage 10, curved cross plates 15 A thread is introduced into the transverse tabs 15 and the longitudinal recess 14 located therebetween, in order to create a threaded opening 16 The slide 10 is divided into two slide sections by the guide gap 11 17 The upwardly open longitudinal recesses 14 of the slide 10 are separated from downwardly open longitudinal recesses18 covered in order to form a screw channel that is open at the front.

[0022] The angle element 5b of the second clamping angle 4b has a central gap in the base leg 6b 19 and on both sides of the gap 19 a longitudinal recess 20 in the base leg 6b and a through opening aligned with the longitudinal recess 20 21 in the contact leg 7b. The base leg 6b is divided into two leg sections by the gap 19 22 divided.

[0023] In the Fign. 2a bis 2c the installation of fitting 1 on a rectangular frame 2 is shown.

[0024] First, the rail 3 is placed on one frame leg 2a screwed onto the frame 2 ( Fig. 2a ).

[0025] The first clamping bracket 4a is then pushed onto the rail 3 using the slide 10 until the contact leg 7a of the angle element 5a rests on the inside against the other frame leg 2b. The slide 10 is guided with its lower guide sections 12 on the profile ends 9 of the rail 3 on the underside and with its upper guide sections 13 on the top side, with the lower guide sections 12 also being guided laterally on the rail 3. This secures the slide 10, together with the second clamping bracket 4b, against lifting off the rail 3.

[0026] The frame 2 is positioned in the wall opening (not shown) so that the contact leg 7a of the angle element 5a rests against one outer side of the opening wall. Subsequently, the second clamping angle 4b is pushed with its leg sections 22 under the two leg sections 17 of the slide 10 until the contact leg 7b of the angle element 5b rests against the other outer side of the opening wall, thus positioning the opening wall between the two contact legs 7a, 7b. The longitudinal recesses 20 of the leg sections 22 are guided along the downwardly projecting longitudinal recesses 14 of the slide sections 17, and the leg sections 22 are guided along the obliquely downwardly angled guide sections 12 of the slide 10. Finally, threaded screws are 23inserted through the through holes 21 and screwed into the threaded holes 16 of the slide 10 in order to clamp the wall between the two contact legs 7a, 7b ( Fig. 2b ). The threaded screws 23 can extend into the screw channel.

[0027] As in Fig. 3 shown, the second clamping angle 4b has a tab bent up parallel to the contact leg 7b 24 with an opening 25 in which a socket 26 is arranged, in which a locking screw (e.g. sheet metal screw) 27 pre-assembled. The locking screw 27 is merely held in the bushing 26. The rail 3 has a tab bent up from the profile base 8 28 with an opening 29 on.

[0028] Once the clamping brackets 4a, 4b are clamped to the opening wall, the frame 2 is correctly aligned with the clamping brackets 4a, 4b. This aligned frame position is finally fixed using the locking screw 27, which is screwed into the opening 29 until it rests against the bushing 26. ( Fig. 3 ).

[0029] In contrast to the Fign. 1 bis 3 , in which the angle element 5a and the carriage 10 are made as two separate parts which are attached to each other, Fig. 4 a modified first clamping angle 4a, in which the angle element 5a and the carriage 10 are made in one piece.

[0030] Fign. 5a-5d und 6a-6d show further profile variants for guiding the first clamping angle 4a or the carriage 10 on the rail 3.

[0031] In Fign. 5a, 6a the rail 3 is designed as an upwardly open, hollow semicircular profile with curved profile ends 9, which are over- and under-engaged by the lower and upper guide sections 12, 13 of the carriage 10.

[0032] In Fign. 5b, 6b the rail 3 is designed as a U-profile with V-shaped profile grooves 9 provided in the two side legs of the U-profile, into which the lower and upper guide sections 12, 13 of the overlapping carriage 10 engage.

[0033] In Fign. 5c, 6c the rail 3 is designed as a U-profile with outwardly angled profile ends 9, which are over- and under-engaged by the lower and upper guide sections 12, 13 of the carriage 10.

[0034] In Fign. 5d, 6dthe rail 3 is designed as a double T-profile with outwardly angled profile ends 9, which are over- and under-engaged by the lower and upper guide sections 12, 13 of the carriage 10.
