Description

[0001] The invention relates to a trampoline.

[0002] Such a trampoline generally has a jumping mat mounted on a frame. The jumping mat is preferably spring-mounted within the frame. The frame is part of a frame structure that also includes footrests for support on a base.

[0003] The trampoline is set up on a flat surface, such as the floor of a sports hall. The jumping mat runs horizontally parallel to the surface. A user can then perform jumps on the trampoline.

[0004] US 2011 / 0059816 A1 concerns a rebound system with a canvas spring-mounted in a frame, which serves as a rebounding surface for balls. The canvas and frame are mounted on a horizontal frame structure and on a rod with a hole pattern that is pivotally connected to the frame structure. By selectively inserting a locking bolt into one of the holes in the hole pattern, an inclination of the canvas and frame can be specified.

[0005] US 5 007 638 A relates to a rebound system with a frame in which a fabric is spring-mounted. Two crossed rods are pivotally mounted on the frame. One rod has a hole pattern. The other rod has a clamping device. Depending on which hole in the hole pattern the clamping device is inserted into, a specific inclination of the fabric is determined.

[0006] EP 1 044 705 A1 relates to a special base for use in trampolines, in which at least one foot is detachably, pivotably, or permanently mounted on the frame. The base consists of at least one tensioning device composed of the elements base support, strut, joints, and tensioning element, i.e., the base is provided with an integrated tensioning device. In a special embodiment, frame parts of the frame can be part of the base; in this embodiment, the frame can be lowered onto a base support. Furthermore, at least one of said parts—frame front part, frame side part—can be designed to be flexible in the tensioning direction, with at least one frame front part and one frame side part being connected to one another by means of sliding tenons.

[0007] US Patent No. 1,380,892 A relates to a piece of sports equipment with a cloth mounted in a frame. The frame is mounted on rails with a frame structure forming a base section. Furthermore, the frame is mounted on two struts with adjustable inclination.

[0008] FR 2 766 726 A1 concerns a foldable trampoline.

[0009] GB 2 446 782 A relates to a portable, foldable trampoline.

[0010] US 2013 / 0210590 A1 concerns a trampoline with a circular frame in which a jumping mat is clamped. The frame features foot sections. Two of the foot sections can be extended with telescopic poles, allowing the frame to be tilted.

[0011] US Patent No. 2,590,049 A relates to a trampoline with a frame in which a jumping mat is clamped. Foot sections extend from the frame. Two foot sections are designed as telescopic poles. The inclination of the frame can be adjusted by extending or retracting the telescopic poles.

[0012] The invention is based on the object of providing a trampoline with extended functionality.

[0013] To achieve this object, the features of claim 1 are provided. Advantageous embodiments and expedient developments of the invention are described in the dependent claims.

[0014] The invention relates to a trampoline with a jumping mat mounted in a frame. The frame is mounted on a base part so that its inclination can be adjusted and is movable in a transport position. The frame with the jumping mat can be adjusted to discrete, different inclination positions relative to the base part. The inclination positions can be fixed by means of at least one clamping mechanism. The clamping mechanism has an arrangement of locking means on the frame and a locking receptacle on the base part to specify the inclination positions. The locking means are arranged on a support pivotally mounted on the frame. The trampoline has two identically designed clamping mechanisms on opposite sides.

[0015] A significant advantage of the invention is that the inclination of the frame of the trampoline and thus of the jumping mat can be adjusted relative to the ground part and thus to a base on which the ground part is mounted.

[0016] By adjusting the angle of inclination relative to the surface, the use of the trampoline can be easily varied, thereby significantly expanding its functionality. The trampoline can be used as a stand-alone unit, i.e. as an isolated unit for training by one user. Furthermore, the trampoline can also be used in conjunction with other sports equipment. For example, the trampoline can be used to jump onto a distant, higher piece of sports equipment such as a climbing rope, a climbing net, or other sports equipment in a climbing or bouldering course. Depending on the arrangement of the other sports equipment, the inclination of the jumping mat can be adjusted to make it particularly easy to adapt the trampoline to the respective application.

[0017] The frame can be adjusted with the jumping mat in discrete, different inclination positions relative to the floor part.

[0018] Adjusting the frame to predefined, discrete tilt positions can be achieved in a particularly simple and user-friendly manner.

[0019] The inclination position can be fixed by means of at least one clamping mechanism.

[0020] The clamping mechanism allows the individual tilt positions of the frame to be fixed easily and conveniently without the need for tools.

[0021] The clamping mechanism has an arrangement of locking means on the frame and a locking receptacle on the base part to specify inclination positions.

[0022] The locking devices are mounted on a pivoting support on the frame. Each locking device of a clamping mechanism determines the tilt position.

[0023] The desired inclination of the frame can then be achieved by simply inserting the corresponding locking device into the locking receptacle.

[0024] The set tilt position is advantageously secured by a locking pin that is inserted into the locking recess and secures the locking element located there. The locking pin is advantageously connected to the base part with a chain so that it cannot be lost.

[0025] The trampoline has two identical clamping mechanisms on opposite sides.

[0026] Due to the symmetrical arrangement of the clamping mechanisms on the opposite sides, the inclined frame is supported accordingly on opposite sides of the trampoline and secured in the inclined position, thus achieving a very stable mounting of the frame on the ground part.

[0027] Overall, the frame, the base part and the clamping mechanisms form a stable construction, which is advantageously made of metallic materials.

[0028] The trampoline according to the invention advantageously has a low center of gravity and a high weight, which ensures the trampoline's high stability. A large contact surface of the jumping mat allows for comfortable exercise on the trampoline.

[0029] With the locking means of the clamping mechanism on the two supports, an inclination angle ∝ of the frame relative to the base part can generally be specified by inserting one of the locking means into the associated locking receptacle, which is in the range 0° < ∝ < 90°.

[0030] It is also possible to specify an inclination angle ∝ = 0. In this case, the frame is in a storage position where it rests on the ground. The jumping mat then runs in a horizontal plane parallel to the base on which the trampoline is placed.

[0031] In the storage position, the locking devices for specifying the tilt position are disengaged from the locking receptacles on the base. To secure the storage position, a separate locking device is provided on opposite sides of the frame, which engages with the respective locking receptacle. In this case, too, the separate locking device can be secured in the locking receptacle with the locking bolt.

[0032] This further increases the functionality of the trampoline according to the invention, since it can be used not only with an inclined jumping mat but also with the jumping mat lying in a horizontal plane.

[0033] Generally, the trampoline is stored in a stationary position resting on a base. Then, a user can perform exercises on the trampoline.

[0034] The trampoline's mobility is advantageously achieved by providing pivoting transport rollers on one side of the base. It is important that the transport rollers are disengaged from the base when the trampoline is in its rest position.

[0035] This means that the trampoline is firmly mounted on the base in its resting position and is protected against unwanted, uncontrolled movement.

[0036] To move the trampoline, it is tilted from the rest position into a transport position in which only the transport rollers are in engagement with the base.

[0037] The trampoline can therefore be moved easily and conveniently without any structural effort.

[0038] According to an advantageous embodiment, support elements for resting on a base are attached to the underside of the base part.

[0039] The support elements are advantageously arranged on the base part, preferably in the area of the corners of the base part, so that they ensure that the trampoline stands securely on a surface.

[0040] In particular, the support elements can be made of non-slip and at the same time slightly cushioning materials, so that these support elements form floor protectors.

[0041] Another advantage is that some of the support elements are mounted so that their inclination can be adjusted.

[0042] For this purpose, the tilt-adjustable support elements in particular are pivotably mounted.

[0043] This makes it easy to compensate for any unevenness in the surface.

[0044] According to an advantageous embodiment, the trampoline has a rebound protection pad.

[0045] This provides protection so that a user who steps next to the jumping mat does not injure themselves.

[0046] Another advantage is that the jumping mat is formed from an arrangement of intersecting bands that are woven together.

[0047] The jumping mat designed in this way has a robust construction and good jumping properties.

[0048] The invention is explained below with reference to the drawings. They show: Figure 1: Embodiment of the trampoline according to the invention with a base part and a frame in a storage position a) perspective view, b) in a side view. Figure 2: Trampoline according to Figure 1 with the frame in the highest inclination position a) perspective view, b) in a side view. Figure 3: Trampoline according to Figure 1 with the frame in the second highest inclination position. Figure 4: Detail view of the clamping mechanism for the trampoline according to the Figures 1 to 3 .

[0049] The Figures 1 to 3 show an embodiment of the trampoline 1 according to the invention.

[0050] The trampoline 1 has a floor part 2, which can be placed with its underside on a base 3 such as the floor of a hall.

[0051] According to the invention, a frame 4 is mounted on the base part 2, which is adjustable in inclination. A jumping mat 5 is mounted in the frame 4, preferably with an arrangement of springs (not shown). In this case, the jumping mat 5 consists of an arrangement of crossed bands that are sewn together in the overlapping areas. The bands of the jumping mat 5 thus form a lattice structure. The springs are covered with covers 6 to prevent injuries to a user using the trampoline 1.

[0052] The base part 2 essentially consists of a U-shaped frame part with two longitudinal segments 7a running parallel to each other and a transverse segment 7b connecting them.

[0053] In the area of the corners of the base part 2, support elements 8a, 8b are provided on these undersides, with which the trampoline 1 rests on the base 3 in a rest position ( Figures 1b , 2b , 3 ) so that a user can perform jumps on trampoline 1.

[0054] At the free ends of each longitudinal segment 7a, a support element 8a, 8b is firmly connected to the base part 2. The two further support elements 8a, 8b are each pivotally mounted on the base part 2 by means of a pivot bearing 9. Each pivot bearing 9 is formed by an axis which is perpendicular to the plane of the drawing of Figure 1b or 2b. The pivot bearings 9 allow the support elements 8a, 8b to be adjusted in an inclination relative to the base part 2, thereby compensating for any unevenness in the base 3.

[0055] Transport rollers 10 are mounted in the area of the fixed support elements 8a, 8b. Each transport roller 10, preferably mounted on a ball bearing, extends laterally at one end of the longitudinal segment 7a of the base part 2 such that, in the rest position of the trampoline 1, the respective transport roller 10 is not in contact with the base 3. The transport rollers 10 are rotatably mounted on the base part 2. The transport rollers 10 can also be designed in the form of wheels.

[0056] In the rest position, in which the support elements 8a, 8b of the base part 2 rest on the base 3, the transport rollers 10 are not in engagement with the base 3. The trampoline 1 is thus mounted stationary on the base 3 so that a user can perform jumps on the trampoline 1.

[0057] In order to move the trampoline 1, it is tilted so that only the transport rollers 10 are in contact with the base 3. In this transport position, the trampoline 1 can be moved.

[0058] According to the invention, the frame 4 with the jumping mat 5 can be mounted in different inclination positions relative to the base part 2. A number of discrete, different inclination positions can be set. Figures 2a, 2b show the frame 4 in the highest inclination position, Figure 3 shows the frame 4 in the second highest inclination position. Furthermore, the frame 4 can be stored with the jumping mat 5 in a storage position in which the plane of the jumping mat 5 runs parallel to the plane of the jumping mat 5 ( Figures 1a, 1b ).

[0059] To adjust the different inclination positions, at least one clamping mechanism 11 is provided, the components of which are Figure 4are shown in a separate illustration. In the present case, two identically designed clamping mechanisms 11 are provided on the opposite long sides of the trampoline 1. These clamping mechanisms 11 can be used to set four different inclination positions.

[0060] As a component of each clamping mechanism 11, a support 12 is pivotally mounted on one long side of the frame 4 by means of a pivot bearing. At the free end of the support 12 are four equidistantly arranged, identically designed locking means 13 in the form of circular cylindrical bolts, which are mounted in the support 12 by screws 14.

[0061] Each clamping mechanism 11 has a cup-shaped locking receptacle 15 located at the free end of a strut 16 of the base part 2. The shape of the cup-shaped locking receptacle 15 is adapted to the shape of the locking means 13. Furthermore, the locking receptacle 15 is assigned a securing bolt 17, which is advantageously captively connected to the base part 2 via a chain (not shown).

[0062] To specify an angle of inclination, one of the locking means 13 of each clamping mechanism 11 is inserted into the associated locking receptacle 15 and secured with the locking pin 17, whereby the locking pin 17 is inserted into a hole of the locking receptacle 15. Depending on which locking means 13 of each clamping mechanism 11 is inserted into the associated locking receptacle 15, a different angle of inclination results. All angles of inclination ∝ are in the range 0° < ∝ < 90°. Figures 2a, 2b show the highest inclination position, Figure 3the second highest inclination position.

[0063] To assemble frame 4 as shown in the Figures 1a, 1b to be transferred into the storage position, the locking means 13 on the supports 12 are disengaged from the respective locking receptacle 15.

[0064] Instead, a separate locking means 18 is engaged on the underside of the frame 4 in the associated locking receptacle 15 and secured with the locking bolt 17.

[0065] As the Figures 2a, 2b Shown is a foldable anti-fall pad 19 on the frame 4. The anti-fall pad 19 covers the exposed slanted side of the trampoline 1 when the frame 4 is inclined relative to the ground part 2, thus providing protection against injuries. List of reference symbols
