Description

TECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The present invention relates to the field of closing systems. It finds particularly advantageous application in the field of door handles. STATE OF THE ART

[0002] There are many systems for attaching a handle to an opening.

[0003] To enable the quick attachment of a handle to an opening, handles with bases are generally used. These bases ensure effective attachment by flat support against the door wall. However, these bases do not offer any guarantees in terms of security because they can be easily forced. Furthermore, for aesthetic purposes, these handles with bases do not always provide the desired result. It is therefore necessary to also be able to provide handles without bases.

[0004] To do this, solutions such as document EP3203000B1 are known from the state of the art, which discloses a system for fixing a rotary handle to a window opening. In this technical solution, the fixing system comprises a main part, having a hooking element capable of being secured to a wall opening. This technical solution allows the fixing of a handle without a base. However, this solution has many limitations, such as, for example, it does not allow easy adaptation to different wall thicknesses and consequently the cooperation between this solution and different window walls is not optimal.

[0005] Documents FR2877979A1 and WO2016 / 020887A1 also disclose systems for attaching a handle to an opening. However, like the solution disclosed in document EP3203000B1, these solutions are not optimal, particularly with regard to cooperation with the opening walls.

[0006] An object of the present invention is therefore to improve the cooperation between a baseless handle fixing system and an opening wall.

[0007] Other objects, features, and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following description and accompanying drawings. It is understood that other advantages may be incorporated. SUMMARY

[0008] To achieve this objective and according to one embodiment, a device is provided for fixing a handle to a wall opening of an opening, the device comprising: a body having a first bearing surface, a hooking element having a second bearing surface, the hooking element passing through the opening.

[0009] The attachment element being secured to the body by means of a screw-nut system, so that the screwing of the screw-nut system allows the device to pass from an unlocked configuration to a locked configuration, distinct from the unlocked configuration, locked configuration in which the first bearing surface and the second bearing surface grip the wall in a first direction.

[0010] Preferably the first direction is perpendicular to at least one of the first surface and the second surface.

[0011] Thus, the tightening of the attachment element is adjustable when mounting the handle by screwing the screw-nut system. In fact, it is possible to vary the position of the attachment element in height relative to the body of the fixing system. This provides a vice-like grip on the wall on which the fixing device is fixed. In addition, by having sufficient overhang in the helical slide formed by screwing, there is good latitude for adaptation to the type of walls, particularly according to their thickness.

[0012] Without the present invention, it would be necessary to replace the entire device according to each opening thickness, which would inevitably increase production costs.

[0013] Another aspect relates to an assembly comprising a wall on which the device is mounted. Another aspect relates to a method of fixing a handle to a wall opening of an opening using a device comprising a body having a first bearing surface and a hooking element having a second bearing surface, the method comprising the following steps: positioning the first bearing surface in contact with a first face of the wall, positioning the attachment element through the opening so that the second bearing face is in contact with a second face of the wall, the second face being distinct from the first face, securing the attachment element to the body by means of a screw-nut connection, so that, in a locking configuration, the first bearing surface and the second bearing surface move towards each other until they grip the wall in a first direction. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES

[0014] The aims, objects, as well as the characteristics and advantages of the invention will emerge more clearly from the detailed description of an embodiment thereof which is illustrated by the following accompanying drawings in which: There Figure 1Arepresents a handle mounted on an exemplary device according to the present invention. The Figure 1B represents an exploded view in which a square and a handle are shown as well as an example of a device according to the present invention. The Figures 5A and 5B represent, in a sectional view, examples of positioning of hanging elements of different dimensions adapted to different wall thicknesses.

[0015] The drawings are given by way of example and are not limiting of the invention. They constitute schematic representations of principle intended to facilitate the understanding of the invention and are not necessarily to the scale of practical applications. DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0016] According to one example, the body comprises a first slanted surface and the gripping element comprises a second slanted surface, the two slanted surfaces being configured such that in the locking configuration, the first slanted surface and the second slanted surface are in planar contact with each other so as to allow transmission of load transfers both in the first direction and radially to the first direction X.

[0017] According to one example, the second slanted surface extends along a plane forming an angle with the second bearing surface of between 30° and 60°, preferably substantially equal to 45°. According to one example, the attachment element is configured to pass entirely through the opening, the opening being delimited according to an opening surface and extending through the wall along a central axis, parallel to the first direction. Preferably, the opening is a circular opening. Preferably the opening is accompanied by at least one centering opening. Preferably two centering openings, which can be distributed symmetrically around the circular opening.

[0018] According to one example, the gripping element has a connecting face configured to exert pressure on the opening surface in a locking configuration.

[0019] According to one example, the device comprises at least two attachment elements, preferably exactly two attachment elements distributed symmetrically around the central axis. According to one example, at least two attachment elements are distributed symmetrically or equiradially relative to the central axis.

[0020] According to a particular embodiment, the device comprises at least three attachment elements distributed equiradially around the central axis.

[0021] According to one example, the body and the attachment element respectively comprise a first thread and a second thread, the first thread and the second thread having the same diameter and are both configured so as to cooperate with a threaded element in order to allow the body to be secured to the attachment element.

[0022] In one example, the threaded member includes a clamping interface, the clamping interface being accessible from the space oriented toward the side of the first face.

[0023] According to one example, the gripping element comprises a connecting surface extending between the second bearing surface and the second angled surface, the device being configured such that in a locking configuration, the threaded element bears on a radial bearing surface.

[0024] A "wall" is a jamb or a leaf that can provide access or closure of access. It does not necessarily have to be a swing door; it can also be a sliding door wall, such as a bay window.

[0025] In the remainder of the description, the term "on" does not necessarily mean "directly on". Thus, when it is indicated that a part or member A is supported "on" a part or member B, this does not mean that the parts or members A and B are necessarily in direct contact with each other. These parts or members A and B may be either in direct contact or be supported on each other by means of one or more other parts. The same applies to other expressions such as, for example, the expression "A acts on B", which may mean "A acts directly on B" or "A acts on B by means of one or more other parts".

[0026] Furthermore, when two parts "A" and "B" grip a part "C", this does not necessarily mean that there would not be an additional part inserted between "A" and "C" and / or between "B" and "C".

[0027] In the context of the present patent application, the expression "kinematically interposed between" does not necessarily mean not in "contact with". Thus, if a part A is kinematically interposed between a part B and a part C, this does not mean that A and B are necessarily in direct contact or that A and C are necessarily in direct contact. This means that a movement or a force of the part B, respectively of the part C, can be at least partly transmitted to the part C, respectively to the part B, via the part A.

[0028] In this patent application, the term mobile corresponds to a rotational movement or a translational movement or to a combination of movements, for example the combination of a rotation and a translation.

[0029] In this patent application, when two parts are indicated as distinct, this means that these parts are separate. They are: positioned at a distance from each other, and / or movable relative to each other and / or secured to each other by being fixed by added elements, this fixing being removable or not.

[0030] A single piece cannot therefore be made up of two separate pieces.

[0031] In this patent application, the term "integral" used to qualify the connection between two parts means that the two parts are linked / fixed relative to each other, according to all degrees of freedom, unless explicitly specified differently. For example, if it is indicated that two parts are integral in translation in an X direction, this means that the parts can be movable relative to each other except in the X direction. In other words, if one part is moved in the X direction, the other part performs the same movement.

[0032] In the present patent application, an elastic means or element may for example be a spring, such as a coiled helical spring, elastic washers such as Belleville washers, an elastomer, a rubber.

[0033] In the following detailed description, use may be made of terms such as "horizontal", "vertical", "longitudinal", "transverse", "upper", "lower", "top", "bottom", "front", "back", "inside", "outside". These terms must be interpreted relatively in relation to the position of the entire device worn by the swimmer and in a configuration in which the swimmer is standing on land or underwater.

[0034] According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the fixing device 1 allows the fixing of a handle 3 on an opening. Preferably the opening has a wall 21 having an opening 211. The device 1 comprises a body 11 having a first bearing surface 11a capable of preferably being in plane contact with a first face 21a of the wall 21 of the opening 2.

[0035] The device 1 also comprises at least one attachment element 12. The attachment element 12 has a second bearing surface 12a capable of being preferably positioned in plane contact with a second face 21b of the wall 21. The attachment element 12 is configured so as to pass at least partially through the opening 211 and preferably entirely. The second face 21b is preferably an opposite face parallel to the first face 21a.

[0036] To the Figure 1Aand according to one example, there is shown a handle 3 fixed to a wall 21 by means of the fixing device 1. The handle 3 advantageously comprises a follower (not shown) configured so as to allow the penetration of a lock square 4. The handle 3 may comprise an orifice 3a configured to allow the passage of a transverse element. COOPERATION BY BIAS SURFACES

[0037] As illustrated in Figures 4A and 4Band according to a particular embodiment, the body 11 comprises a first slanted surface 11b and the attachment element 12 comprises a second slanted surface 12b. The two slanted surfaces 11b, 12b are preferably configured so that when the screw-nut system is screwed, the first slanted surface 11b and the second slanted surface 12b move closer to each other until plane contact of the two surfaces is allowed. Thus, once contact has been made between the two slanted surfaces, this allows transmission of loads both in the first direction X211 and in a direction perpendicular to the first direction X211, preferably in a direction radial to the first direction X211.

[0038] As illustrated in the Figure 4A and according to one example, the assembly of a hanging element 12 can be carried out in two phases: a first feeding phase in which the second slanted surface 12b is substantially parallel to the first face 21a, a second clamping phase in which the second slanted surface 12b tilts thanks to the clamping of the threaded element 13 so that the connecting face 12c is substantially parallel to the first axis X211.

[0039] In other words, during the tightening phase of the threaded element 13, the first slanted surface 11b and the second slanted surface 12b are in contact with each other. Thus, this allows a straightening of the attachment element as illustrated in the example of the Figure 4B .

[0040] According to one example, the second slanted surface 12b extends along a plane forming an angle with the second bearing surface 12a of between 30° and 60°, preferably between 40° and 50° and preferably substantially equal to 45°.

[0041] Advantageously, the slanted surfaces 11b, 12b allow better centering of the device 1 and better resistance over time, relative to the opening 211. LOCK SETTING

[0042] As illustrated in the Figure 4C , the attachment element 12 is secured to the body 11 by means of a screw-nut connection, so that, in a locking configuration, the first bearing surface 11a and the second bearing surface 12a move closer to each other until they grip the wall 21 in a vice in a first direction X211. Preferably, the first direction X211 is perpendicular to at least one of the first surface 21a and the second surface 21b. VICE GRIP

[0043] Advantageously, the attachment element 12 is configured to pass entirely through the opening 211.

[0044] According to a particular embodiment, the attachment element 12 preferably has a curved portion. Preferably, the second bearing face 12a is located on a curved portion of the attachment element 12. Thus, the attachment element is configured so as to extend on each side of the wall 21. In fact, the cooperation of the attachment element 12 with the body 11 takes place on the side of the first face 21a and the cooperation between the attachment element 12 and the wall 21 takes place on the side of the second face 21b. OPENING

[0045] In order to be able to mount the fixing device 1 on the wall 21, it is necessary for the wall 21 to have an opening 211. The opening 211 extends through the wall 21 along a central axis A211. The opening 211 is radially delimited according to an opening surface 211a. The central axis A211 is preferably parallel to the first direction X211. Preferably, the opening 211 is a circular opening. Advantageously, the wall 21 is also crossed by two centering openings. Preferably, the two centering openings are distributed symmetrically around the opening 211. Advantageously, the wall 21 comprises a portion of constant thickness along the first direction X211, crossed by the opening 211. The opening 211 preferably extends along a direction normal to at least one of the first face 21a and the second face 21b.

[0046] According to one example, the body 11 comprises at least one centering pin configured to cooperate by fitting with at least one centering opening. Advantageously, the body 11 comprises two centering pins so as to allow the body 11 to stop rotating along the axis A211 relative to the opening 211 in a locked configuration. HANGING ELEMENT

[0047] As illustrated in Figures 2A And 2B and according to one example, the attachment element 12 preferably has a connecting face 12c configured so as to exert radial support on the opening surface 211a in a locking configuration. Thus, by radial support the fixing of the device on the wall is optimized.

[0048] Preferably, the connecting face 12c has rough elements such as reliefs allowing the attachment element to be gripped on the opening surface 211a in order to reinforce the fixing of the device with the wall.

[0049] According to a particular embodiment, the connecting face 12c is configured so as to be able to cooperate by friction with a threaded element 13 so as to stiffen the attachment element 12 and / or so as to reinforce the radial support of the connecting surface 12c on the opening surface 211a.

[0050] According to a particular embodiment, the device comprises at least two attachment elements 12. Preferably, the at least two attachment elements 12 are distributed symmetrically or equiradially relative to the central axis A211.

[0051] According to a particular embodiment, the device comprises exactly two attachment elements 12 distributed equiradially around the central axis A211.

[0052] Preferably, the attachment element 12 and the body 11 are two separate parts. In other words, the attachment element 12 is a removable element relative to the body 11. SCREW-NUT COOPERATION

[0053] According to one example, the screw-nut system comprises at least one threaded element 13 configured to cooperate by screwing with at least one thread. The body 11 and the attachment element 12 may respectively comprise a first thread 11t and a second thread 12t. The first thread 11t and the second thread 12t may have the same diameter and may both cooperate with the threaded element 13 in order to allow the body 11 to be secured to the attachment element 12. Alternatively, only one of the two, the body 11 and the attachment element 12, comprises a thread, the other comprising a simple bore. Preferably, only the attachment element 12 comprises a thread.

[0054] According to a particular embodiment, none of the parts among the body 11 and the attachment element 12 include threading and the cooperation is carried out with an additional nut.

[0055] Alternatively, the attachment element 12 comprises a threaded rod so that the threaded element 13 and the attachment element 12 form a single piece, advantageously in one piece and made from the same material.

[0056] According to one example, the threaded element 13 comprises a clamping interface, the clamping interface being accessible from the space oriented towards the first face 21a. The clamping interface may be a screw head or a bolt head.

[0057] According to a particular embodiment, the attachment element 12 comprises a connecting surface 12c extending between the second bearing surface 12a and the second slanted surface 12b. Thus, the device 1 is configured so that in a locking configuration, the threaded element 13 bears on a connecting surface 12c so as to prevent the threaded element 13 from unscrewing. APPLICATION

[0058] According to one embodiment, the invention relates to an assembly comprising a wall 21 on which a device 1 is mounted. The assembly may in particular be a door, a gate, a window or a bay window. FIXING PROCESS

[0059] According to one embodiment, the device allows the attachment of a handle 3 to the opening 211 using a mounting method which comprises the following steps. These steps notably allow the transition from an unlocked configuration to a locked configuration of the device: positioning of the first bearing surface 11a in contact with a first face 21a of the wall 21 positioning of the attachment element through the opening so that the second bearing face 12a is in contact with a second face 21b of the wall 21, securing of the attachment element 12 to the body 11 by means of a screw-nut connection, so that, in a locking configuration, the first bearing surface 11a and the second bearing surface 12a approach each other until they grip the wall 21 in a vice in a first direction X211.

[0060] According to one example, after securing the device 1 to the wall 21, the device is capable of allowing the passage of a square 4 then the assembly of a handle 3. UNLOCKED CONFIGURATION

[0061] According to one example, the unlocked configuration corresponds to a state in which the wall 21 is not gripped between at least one attachment element 12 and the body 11. Advantageously, in the unlocked configuration, the device can be brought into or removed from the opening 211. LOCKED CONFIGURATION

[0062] According to one example, the locked configuration corresponds to a state in which the wall 21 is gripped between at least one attachment element 12 and the body 11. Advantageously, in the unlocked configuration, the device 1 is fixed at least along the main direction X211.

[0063] Preferably in the unlocked configuration, the device 1 can be inserted or detached from the opening 211 according to the first direction X211.

[0064] The first direction X211 being advantageously perpendicular to the first face 21a and / or to the second face 21b.

[0065] According to a particular embodiment, the device 1 comprises at least one access channel 13b configured to allow the passage of a tool 5, preferably a screwdriver, preferably in a direction parallel to the main direction X211 in order to be able to screw or alternatively unscrew the screw / nut system so as to allow the tightening and / or loosening of the device 1 on the wall 21. DIFFERENT THICKNESSES

[0066] As illustrated in Figures 5A and 5B , the present invention makes it possible to adapt to different wall thicknesses e1, e2. Thus, the length dimension l1, l2 of the attachment element 12 along the first direction X211 can be such that: l_1 − e_1 = l_2 − e_2

[0067] Preferably, it may be a wall thickness e1, e2 whose measurement extends between 1 mm and 5 mm, preferably 1.5 mm and 3 mm, preferably substantially equal to 2 mm.

[0068] According to an example illustrated in Figures 1B , 2A , 2B, 3A , 3B the device 1 may comprise a support ring 14 allowing the indexing of the handle 3 in several positions. This indexing can be done by means of at least one rolling element 15, preferably two rolling elements 15, advantageously balls. Preferably, the at least one rolling element 15 is mounted on an elastic element 16. Preferably, the elastic element 16 is a helical spring. Advantageously, the device 1 comprises two rolling elements distributed symmetrically relative to the axis A211.

[0069] The support ring 14 may comprise a ring hole capable of aligning in the extension of the orifice 3a so that in a mounting configuration, the handle 3 can be secured to the support ring 14 by simultaneous penetration of the cross-member through the ring hole and the orifice 3a.

[0070] According to a particular embodiment, the body 11 comprises a ring 17 configured to be inserted between the first face 21a and the first bearing surface 11a. Advantageously, it may be a ring 17 made of rubber or elastomer so as to reduce vibrations and / or to optimize contact and / or to reinforce the thermal seal at the opening 211. Advantageously, the handle 3 is a rotary handle.

[0071] As illustrated in Figures 4A and 4Band according to a particular embodiment, the mounting of the device 1 on the wall 21 is carried out in the following manner: In a first phase, mounting of at least one attachment element 12 on a threaded element 13, preferably of two attachment elements 12 on two threaded elements 13, preferably without complete screwing so as to allow the retention of the attachment element 12 on the threaded element 13 while allowing tilting of the second bearing surface 12a towards the central axis A211. Thus, the at least one attachment element 12 can pass through the opening 211.

[0072] In a second phase, bringing the device 1 close to the opening 211 so as to pass the attachment element 12 through the opening until the body 11 is in contact with the first face 21a.

[0073] In a third phase, using a tool 5 configured to cooperate with the clamping interface 13a, the threaded element 13 is screwed so as to allow the penetration of a threaded rod of the threaded element through the thread 12t. The helical connection then drives the at least one attachment element 12 in translation until it grips the wall 21 with the body 11 or with the ring 17. Digital references:
