Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a ski or a snowboard, as well as a method for manufacturing a ski or snowboard.
[0002] FR 2748399 A1 discloses a ski with a vibration damping device arranged on its upper surface. This device comprises at least two vibration damper assemblies arranged consecutively along the ski's longitudinal direction, each consisting of a layer of viscoelastic material and a rigid mounting plate. The underside of this viscoelastic material is attached to the ski, and the upper side of this viscoelastic material is attached to the rigid mounting plates. These mounting plates are either rigidly connected to each other in pairs or, with respect to the ski's longitudinal direction, are arranged without gaps alongside each other when the ski is unloaded, such that the mounting plates of the vibration damper assemblies support each other under deflection loads on the ski and repel each other when the ski is unloaded.Due to the rigid coupling of the individual retaining plates or the gapless arrangement of the rigid retaining plates, a shear force is exerted on the underlying layers of viscoelastic material when the ski deflects. However, these known designs are only of limited practical use. Furthermore, their creation is complex and expensive.
[0003] FR 2616340 A1 describes a ski with an elongated ski body, where at least on its upper surface a top layer is formed. A vibration damper is formed on the upper surface of the ski body, consisting of a layer of viscoelastic material overlaid by a rigid plate. The vibration damper is positioned directly in a recess in the top layer. The upper surface of the plate lies in the same plane as the upper surface of the top layer. The recess in the top layer brings the vibration damper closer to the ski body, thus enabling it to perform its function more effectively. Furthermore, the vibration damper is less prone to accumulating snow or to causing the two skis of a pair to snag on each other if they unintentionally cross. However, the effectiveness of the vibration damper, the robustness, and the manufacturability of the ski body are only partially satisfactory.
[0004] EP 1484090 A1, EP 0188985 A1, EP 0972544 A1 and FR 2882269 A1 describe further embodiments of skis and their manufacturing processes.
[0005] The object of the present invention was to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art and to provide a ski or snowboard, as well as a method for its manufacture, by means of which efficient damping of bending vibrations of the ski body is made possible with the least possible effort.
[0006] This task is solved by a ski or a snowboard and by a manufacturing process according to the claims.
[0007] The ski or snowboard according to the invention comprises a multi-layered gliding board body that defines or has a longitudinal axis extending along its length. The gliding board body comprises at least one strength-relevant upper rib, at least one strength-relevant lower rib, at least one core element arranged between them, at least one top layer made of a plastic material forming the upper surface of the gliding board body, and at least one running surface forming the underside of the gliding board body. At least one depression is embossed or molded into a surface of the at least one top layer facing away from the core element. This at least one depression can preferably be trough-shaped or have a substantially trapezoidal cross-section.At least two, preferably at least three, plates are glued into the at least one recess, spaced apart from each other in the direction of the longitudinal axis. These plates are made of a material whose modulus of elasticity is higher than the modulus of elasticity of the plastic material of the top layer of the sliding board body.
[0008] The ski or snowboard according to the invention offers the advantage of a favorable cost-performance ratio. The at least two plates glued into the recess positively influence the vibration behavior of the gliding board body. In particular, this improves the recovery behavior of the gliding board body after elastic deformation, especially after elastic deflection of its longitudinal axis. The plates, arranged quasi-serially and spaced apart from each other in the longitudinal direction of the gliding board body, effectively dampen vibrations of the gliding board body at several vibration frequencies occurring during use, or within several frequency ranges of the mechanical vibrations. The bending vibrations of the surface layer of the ski board body, which are caused by alternating tensile and compressive stresses on the surface layer in conjunction with elastic bending of the ski board body, are particularly effectively dampened or suppressed in an advantageous manner. This is achieved by the plates inserted into the recess and bonded directly to the surface layer. The spatial spacing of the individual plates—and thus their largely independent effects—also has surprisingly advantageous effects on the vibration behavior of the ski board body. This can be explained by the fact that the individual plates are located closest to different vibration nodes of the ski board body or influence their position in the longitudinal direction of the ski board body. Furthermore, a ski according to the invention...A snowboard according to the invention exhibits high robustness because the plates, which are at least partially recessed, are well protected against unwanted detachment. Furthermore, the corresponding technical measures for vibration damping of the gliding board body can be implemented relatively cost-effectively, which improves the economic viability of the gliding board body.
[0009] Furthermore, it can be advantageous if the plates each have a layer thickness between 0.05 mm and 2 mm, preferably between 0.1 mm and 1 mm. This allows for a process-stable and high-quality embedding in the at least one recess in the top surface of the cover layer. Nevertheless, a significant influence on the vibration and damping behavior of the elongated sliding board body can be achieved.
[0010] Furthermore, the plates can be made of metal, particularly stainless steel, aluminum, or a metal alloy with iron as the main component. Due to their exceptionally high modulus of elasticity compared to the outer surface layer of the sliding board body, such plates have a significant influence on the sliding board's vibration behavior. Moreover, metal plates can be relatively thin and still offer a substantial impact on vibration behavior and damping.
[0011] Alternatively, the plates can be made of a different plastic material than the top layer or of a carbon composite. This allows for a wide range of elastic moduli to be selected. Furthermore, a high-strength bond with the top layer can be achieved. Additionally, undesirable plastic deformation of the edge sections or dents on the edge areas of the plates can be prevented, even under intensive stress on the sliding board body.
[0012] Another advantageous design is one in which the outer surface of the plates is flush with or slightly recessed from the outer surface of the top layer in a border area around the recess. This allows for a simple and effective improvement in the robustness against unwanted detachment or plastic deformation of the bonded plates.
[0013] According to a further development, the width of the plates can be between at least 20% and a maximum of 80%, preferably about 33%, of the width of the sliding board body in its longitudinal section with the recess. This makes it possible to form an optimally reproducible, preferably trough-shaped recess in the top layer, formed in one piece with the top layer. Furthermore, such plates can have a significant influence on the vibration behavior of the sliding board body.
[0014] Furthermore, it can be advantageous if the plates extend over more than 10%, in particular between 15% and 70%, preferably between 20% and 50%, of the length of the sliding board body. This also allows such plates to exert a significant influence on the vibration behavior of the sliding board body.
[0015] Furthermore, the bonded plates can be designed to cover more than 70%, preferably between 80% and 98%, of the base area of the recess. This results in relatively intensive filling or almost complete coverage of the recess's base area. Consequently, the arrangement achieves high effectiveness with regard to vibration behavior and its influence on the bending stiffness characteristic of the sliding board body. Moreover, this reduces the risk of unwanted detachment.
[0016] According to the invention, the distance between consecutive plates in the longitudinal direction of the sliding board body is between 1 mm and 20 mm, in particular between 2 mm and 10 mm, preferably between 3 mm and 5 mm. These values refer to the unloaded state or the rest state of the sliding board body. This also allows for a high level of effectiveness of the bonded plates with regard to vibration behavior and their influence on the bending stiffness characteristic of the sliding board body.
[0017] According to an advantageous embodiment, an adhesive layer, particularly an acrylate adhesive, is provided for the permanent bonding of the plates to the base surface of the recess, and this adhesive layer is formed exclusively within the outer boundary contour of the plates. Such an adhesive bond offers the advantage over a screw connection of a large-area or full-surface bond to the sliding board body. Furthermore, this prevents the adhesive from penetrating the upper layers of the sliding board body and minimizes the problem of moisture ingress into the structure of the sliding board body. Another advantage is that assembly can be carried out quickly and reliably. In particular, there will be little to no protrusion of adhesive beyond the base surface of the plates.Optical or mechanical damage to the top layer is thus prevented.
[0018] It is also advantageous if this adhesive layer, or an additional adhesive layer intended for the permanent bonding of the plates to the base of the recess, has a thinner layer than the thickness of the plates themselves. This allows the overall height of the plates relative to the top of the ski to be kept low, thereby increasing their pull-off resistance and preventing detachment. In particular, this approach enables a robust, vibration-damped, and at the same time, as economical a construction as possible for the gliding board body.
[0019] It is also advantageous if the plates have a substantially rectangular outline. The corner sections of these plates, in particular, can be rounded. Such surface coverage of the plastic surface of the sliding board body with the individual plates results in high efficiency with regard to the damping effect of bending vibrations of the sliding board body or its outer surface layer.
[0020] The object of the invention is also achieved by the claimed method for manufacturing a ski or snowboard, in particular a ski or snowboard according to the claims. Such a ski or snowboard ultimately manufactured comprises a multi-layered gliding board body that defines a longitudinal axis extending along its length and which, after its completion, comprises at least the following components: at least one strength-relevant upper chord, at least one strength-relevant lower chord, at least one core element arranged between them, at least one top layer made of a plastic material forming the upper side of the sliding board body, and at least one running surface covering forming the underside of the sliding board body.
[0021] The manufacturing process for such a ski or snowboard, or for a semi-finished product or intermediate product required for this purpose, comprises the following process steps: Providing a holding frame with openings or recesses in which at least two, preferably at least three, plates arranged at a distance from each other are predetermined or held in a positionally accurate manner; placing the holding frame together with the plates held therein into a heating press and positioning the holding frame together with the plates held therein at a predetermined position relative to the top layer; activating the heating press and pressing the holding frame together with the plates into the top layer, so that at least one, preferably trough-shaped or substantially trapezoidal in cross-section, depression is pressed or formed in the top layer; opening the heating press and removing the holding frame from the plates glued into the at least one depression.
[0022] The manufacturing process according to the invention offers the advantage of a favorable cost-benefit ratio. Furthermore, the corresponding technical measures for vibration damping of the sliding board body can be implemented relatively cost-effectively, which improves the economic viability of the sliding board body. In particular, such a manufacturing process allows for high process stability while maintaining high quality in the produced sliding board bodies and the required semi-finished products. The necessary production cycles for the sliding board bodies and for the semi-finished products to be further processed can be implemented quickly or kept short. Specifically, the embossing of the preferably trough-shaped depression into the top layer and the bonding of the individual plates to the base of this depression are carried out simultaneously or in parallel.Furthermore, these procedural measures advantageously ensure that the most precise and repeatable relative positioning between the individual plates and the boundary edges or border areas of the trough-like depression can be achieved. Undesired mispositioning or deviations from the target or planned position of the individual plates are effectively avoided by these sophisticated measures.
[0023] According to an advantageous further development, the plates are provided with an adhesive layer on their flat side facing the top layer before being placed in the heating press. This allows for efficient and particularly durable attachment of the individual plates to the top of the semi-finished product or to the surface of the final sliding board body.
[0024] In particular, it can be advantageous to provide a top layer made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) for the manufacturing process. This allows for efficient and process-stable shaping of the top layer during the joining process with at least some of the components of the future sliding board body, especially its top flange.
[0025] According to an advantageous measure, the impressioning of the retaining frame and the plates into the top layer is carried out at a temperature of the top layer between 100 °C and 120 °C, preferably at approximately 110 °C. This creates an optimal temperature operating range or temperature operating point in which repeatable and rapid forming of the top layer can be achieved during the hot pressing process without adversely affecting the resulting or final material properties of the top layer.
[0026] Furthermore, the adhesive layer between the individual plates and the outer surface of the top layer can be activated during the application of heat and pressure by the heating press. This allows for efficient and high-strength bonding of the individual plates to the outer surface of the top layer.
[0027] According to an advantageous measure in the manufacturing process, a holding frame with several openings is provided, in which the plates are positioned. The plates are secured against falling out of the openings by means of a manually removable adhesive film, in particular an adhesive tape. This ensures that the plates are secured against unwanted slippage before and during the hot pressing process. This enables the efficient, reliable, economical, and uncomplicated production of sliding board bodies with a plurality of vibration-modifying plates on the outer surface of the plastic cover layer of the sliding board body. In particular, this ensures that the outlines of the plates to be glued and the outlines of the at least one recess run exactly parallel to each other, or as precisely as possible. This drastically reduces the risk of manufacturing low-quality sliding board bodies.
[0028] To better understand the invention, it is explained in more detail with reference to the following figures.
[0029] They each show, in a highly simplified, schematic representation: Fig. 1 a perspective view of a ski with several plates attached to its upper surface to influence the vibration behavior of the ski board body; Fig. 2 a cross-section of the ski board body cut along lines II-II in Fig. 1 ; Fig. 3 a holding frame with several plates inserted therein in top view; Fig. 4 the holding frame and the plates inserted therein sectioned along lines IV-IV in Fig. 3; Fig. 5 a partial longitudinal section through a heating press during the application of individual plates to the outer surface of the cover layer of the sliding board body or a sliding board body semi-finished product.
[0030] It should be noted at the outset that in the differently described embodiments, identical parts are provided with the same reference numerals or component designations, and the disclosures contained in the entire description can be applied analogously to identical parts with the same reference numerals or component designations. Furthermore, the positional designations chosen in the description, such as top, bottom, side, etc., refer to the figure directly described and illustrated, and these positional designations must be applied analogously to the new position if the position changes.
[0031] In the Fig. 1 , 2An embodiment of a ski 1 is illustrated by way of example. Such a ski 1, as is known per se, is to be used in pairs, with a binding device 2 being provided for connecting and disconnecting it from the foot or sports shoe of a user as needed. Analogous to a ski 1, it is also possible to provide the measures described below for a so-called snowboard, wherein such a snowboard is used individually by a user and both of the user's legs can be held and released from the snowboard as needed via binding devices.
[0032] A corresponding ski 1 or so-called snowboard comprises a multi-layered gliding board body 3, which is designed for gliding on snow, ice, or other surfaces. This multi-layered gliding board body 3 can thus be understood as a sandwich element or as a composite body 4, which is formed from several adhesively bonded elements.
[0033] Such a multi-layered sliding board body 3 consists of at least one strength-relevant upper chord 5, at least one strength-relevant lower chord 6, at least one strip- or board-like core element 7 arranged between them, at least one top layer 9 forming the upper surface 8 of the sliding board body 3, and at least one running surface 11 forming the lower surface 10 of the sliding board body 3. In the case of a ski 1 or snowboard design, the lateral longitudinal edges of the running surface 11 are typically bounded by edge elements 12, 13 for improved guidance of the sliding board body 3 on hard or icy surfaces. These edge elements 12, 13 are usually made of metallic materials and are colloquially referred to as steel edges.
[0034] The running surface covering 11, which may consist of at least one single piece or possibly several pieces, should exhibit the highest possible sliding properties and abrasion resistance against the respective substrate, such as snow, ice, or sand. The top layer 9 primarily serves a protective and / or decorative function for the sliding board body 3. The top layer 9 is typically transparent or translucent and may be decorated on the reverse side, for example, with a sublimation print or thermal ink print. Alternatively or in combination with this, a separate decorative layer or decorative carrier layer may also be provided on the reverse side facing away from the top 8.
[0035] The top chord 5 and the bottom chord 6 are primarily strength- and flexural-stiffness-relevant layers or elements within the sliding board body 3 and primarily determine its bending behavior, load-bearing capacity, and breaking strength. The top chord 5 and / or the bottom chord 6 need not be formed by separate layers or elements, but can also be defined by adhesives or fillers within the sliding board body 3. According to the illustrated embodiment, the strength-relevant top chord 5 is formed by a metallic layer, in particular a light metal. Similarly, the bottom chord 6 is formed by a strip-shaped metallic element with a thickness typically less than 1 mm. Alternatively or in combination, the top chord 5 and / or the bottom chord 6 can also be formed by so-called prepreg elements, which are typically formed by resin-impregnated fabrics, in particular glass fiber fabrics. For example, the upper chord 5 extends over the entire effective width of the sliding board body 3, so that its longitudinal side edges are visible or accessible in relation to longitudinal side surfaces 14, 15 of the sliding board body 3.
[0036] How best to draw from a synthesis of the Fig. 1 , 2 As can be seen, the sliding board body 3 has a substantially trapezoidal cross-section, at least in the mounting area of the binding unit 2, wherein the underside 10 formed by the running surface covering 11 forms the comparatively longer base side of this trapezoidal contour, the top side 8 defines the relatively short base side, and the longitudinal side surfaces 14, 15 represent the lateral, inclined legs of the trapezoidal cross-sectional contour of the sliding board body 3.
[0037] The skid board body 3 essentially defines the base body, in particular the load-bearing base body, of the ski 1 or snowboard. A longitudinal axis 16 of the skid board body 3 runs in its longitudinal direction, and in this direction, the skid board body 3 defines its maximum length 17. This length 17 can be defined by the so-called developed length of the skid board body 3 or by the projected length of the skid board body 3.
[0038] How best to proceed from a summary of the Fig. 1 and 2As can be seen, at least one depression 19 is formed in a surface 18 of the at least one cover layer 9 facing away from the core element 7. This depression 19 can also be described as an indentation in the cover layer 9 or in the upper layers of the sliding board body 3. The corresponding depression 19 is produced, in particular, by an embossing or pressing process. The depression 19, which is formed directly in the cover layer 9 or defined by the spatial course of the cover layer 9, has a relatively small depth 21 in relation to the thickness 20 of the cover layer 9. Typically, this depth 21 of the depression 19 is 0.5 to 5 times, preferably about one to three times, the thickness 20 of the outer cover layer 9. Preferably, this depression 19 is designed in a trough-like form, in particular with an inclined orThe transitions between the essentially flat base surface 22 of the depression 19 and the surrounding edge sections around the depression 19 are rounded.
[0039] In this at least one recess 19 on the upper surface 8 of the sliding board body, at least two, preferably between three and six, plates 23 or so-called "paddings" are arranged at intervals from each other in the direction of the longitudinal axis 16, and are in particular glued in place. The individual plates 23 in the preferably trough-shaped recess 19 at least partially fill the recess 19 and thus form a kind of "padding structure" in the at least one recess 19.
[0040] The individual plates 23 are made of a material which has a higher modulus of elasticity than the modulus of elasticity of the plastic material of the cover layer 9.
[0041] According to a suitable embodiment, these plates 23 are made of metal, in particular stainless steel, aluminum, or a metal alloy with iron as the main component. The plates 23 can be provided with a coating, in particular a lacquer or an electroplated layer. Alternatively, the plates 23 can also be made of plastic or a carbon composite material, these materials preferably having a higher modulus of elasticity than the material of the cover layer 9. The material of the cover layer 9 is, according to a practical measure, a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). The modulus of elasticity, also called the coefficient of elasticity or modulus of strain, essentially refers to the resistance that the material offers to elastic deformation. In particular, the modulus of elasticity is a standardized material property.A component made from a material with a higher modulus of elasticity is therefore stiffer than the same component made from a material with a lower modulus of elasticity.
[0042] The platelets 23 each have a layer thickness 24 of between 0.05 mm and 2 mm. Preferably, their layer thickness is between 0.1 mm and 1 mm. These platelets 23, or "paddings," are therefore relatively thin and can have a layer thickness 24 of between 0.5 and 5 times the thickness 20 of the cover layer 9.
[0043] The layer thickness 24 of the plates 23 and the depth 21 of the recess 19 are preferably selected such that an outer surface 25 of the plates 23 is flush with or slightly recessed in relation to the outer surface 18 of the cover layer 9 in its edge region 26 around the recess 19. The edge region 26 can be understood as a region or section between 0 and 10 mm around the recess 19.
[0044] The maximum width 27 of the plates 23 is only a fraction of the width 28 of the sliding board body 3 in its longitudinal section with the recess 19 or in its longitudinal section with the plates 23 glued therein. It is advantageous if the width 27 of the plates 23 is between at least 20% and a maximum of 80%, preferably about 33%, of the width 28 of the sliding board body 3 in the longitudinal section with the recess 19.
[0045] Furthermore, it is advantageous if the plates 23, in particular the serially successive arrangement of several plates 23, extend over more than 10%, in particular between 15% and 70%, preferably between 20% and 50%, of the length 17 of the gliding board body 3. A serial grouping of individual plates 23 can be provided in the section in front of the binding device 2 and / or in the section behind the binding device 2. Primarily, an arrangement in the front section of the gliding board body 3, i.e., in the area between the so-called ski blade and the binding device 2, is provided, as shown in Fig. 1 was represented with solid lines.
[0046] The dotted lines indicate Fig. 1 The optional arrangement of plates 23 in the rear section of the sliding board body 3 is shown.
[0047] The glued-in plates 23 cover more than 70%, preferably between 80% and 98%, of the at least approximately flat base surface 22 of the recess 19. The distance 29 between plates 23 immediately following one another in the longitudinal direction of the sliding board body 3 is between 1 mm and 20 mm, in particular between 2 mm and 10 mm, preferably between 3 mm and 5 mm. The plates 23 typically have a substantially rectangular outline or boundary contour 30. Preferably, the corners of these rectangular plates 23 are rounded. Likewise, substantially triangular, trapezoidal, or circular boundary contours are conceivable.
[0048] How best to Fig. 2As can be seen, the individual plates 23 are connected to the base 22 of the recess 19 by means of an adhesive layer 31. The adhesive layer 31 is formed in particular by an acrylate adhesive, which is intended for a permanent and firm bond between the plates 23 and the sliding board body 3. The adhesive layer 31 can be relatively rigid or inflexible. The adhesive layer 31, which is relatively thin compared to the thickness 24 of the plates, is located exclusively within the outer boundary contour 30 of the plates 23. The thickness 38 of the adhesive layer 31 is only a fraction of the thickness 24 of the plates 23.
[0049] In the Figs. 3 to 5Individual components and process steps for the manufacture of the specified ski 1 or its sliding board body 3 or sliding board body semi-finished product are illustrated. The following description refers to the previously described structural characteristics of the generic sliding board body 3.
[0050] The corresponding manufacturing process includes at least the provision of a holding frame 32, as described in Fig. 3, 4 This is shown as an example. This retaining frame 32 can, for example, be made of plastic. The retaining frame 32 has several openings 33 or corresponding recesses. Such recesses have a limited depth and are therefore to be understood as indentations or cutouts in the plate-like retaining frame 32.
[0051] In each of the openings 33 or recesses, at least one plate 23 is received or held. The structure of the holding frame 32 is designed such that the individual plates 23 are pre-positioned or held in their respective designated positions. Especially when the positioning elements of the holding frame 32 are designed as openings 23, the individual plates 23 are secured against falling out or deposition relative to the openings 33 by means of at least one adhesive film 34 or adhesive tape. The adhesive film 34 or the corresponding adhesive tape has a reusable adhesive layer and can be manually removed or peeled off from the plates 23 and the holding frame 32.
[0052] The plates 23 have the adhesive layer 31 on one of their flat sides, as can best be seen from Fig. 4This is evident. The adhesive layer 31 is formed on the flat side of the plates 23 opposite the adhesive film 34.
[0053] How best to Fig. 5As can be seen, the corresponding holding frame 32 with the plates 23 inserted or temporarily held therein is placed in a heating press 35 with at least two press plates 36, 37 that are movable relative to each other. The holding frame 32 with the plates 23 is placed on the top layer 9 in a predetermined relative position. Further components of the subsequent sliding board body 3 or of a sliding board body semi-finished product to be manufactured beforehand are housed in the heating press 35. These components are defined, for example, by at least one core element 7, by the top flange 5, and by an adhesive layer 39 that connects these components in a force-fit manner. However, further layers, such as the longitudinal side elements of the subsequent sliding board body 3, can also be arranged in the heating press 35. A design without a core element 7 is also possible.Ultimately, in addition to the top layer 9, various components of the later sliding board body 3 or sliding board body semi-finished product can be provided in the heating press 35, thus defining various completion stages of a semi-finished product of the sliding board body 3.
[0054] The heating press 35 is then activated, and the holding frame 32, along with the plates 23 it contains, is partially pressed or impressed into the top layer 9. This pressing process is carried out in such a way that at least one trough-like depression 19 is impressed into the top layer 9. For this purpose, the pressure surface of the press plate 36 can be flat or flush with the surface. The depression 19 in the top layer 9 can be achieved by displacing plastic material from the top layer 9 and / or by a spatial deformation of the originally flat top layer 9 in the edge or surrounding area around the holding frame 32. The pressure and temperature applied by the heating press 35 ensure a reproducible and particularly economical transfer of the plates 23 into the corresponding depression 19 on the upper surface 8 of the top layer 9.
[0055] The parameters during the heat pressing process are selected such that the holding frame 32 keeps the plates 23 in position while the plates 23 are permanently bonded to the top layer 9. For this purpose, the adhesive layer 31 formed on the underside of the plates 23 is activated.
[0056] The heating press 35 is then opened and the retaining frame 32 is removed from the at least one recess 19 embossed into the top layer 9. The plates 23 remain within the recess 19 due to the activated adhesive layer 31 and thus cover at least partial sections of the base surface 22 within the recess 19.
[0057] Before being placed in the heating press 35, the plates 23 are provided with, in particular covered with, the adhesive layer 31 on their flat side facing the top layer 9. This adhesive layer 31 between the individual plates 23 and the outer surface 18 of the top layer 9 is then activated during the application of heat and pressure by the heating press 35, thus ensuring a permanent bond between the individual plates 23 and the top layer 9, which is preferably made of plastic.
[0058] The impressioning of the retaining frame 32 and the plates 23 into the top layer 9 takes place at a temperature of at least one of the press plates 36, 37 of the hot press 35, preferably the press plate 36 closest to the retaining frame 32, between 100 °C and 120 °C, preferably at about 110 °C. The individual plates 23 are preferably formed by cutting or stamping parts of an originally comparatively large-area plate element and are each flat and have a constant plate thickness or layer thickness 24.
[0059] The exemplary embodiments show possible embodiment variants, whereby it should be noted at this point that the invention is not limited to the specifically illustrated embodiment variants thereof.
