[0002] Document FR 2 463 437 describes a timepiece whose movement is held by an annular shock-absorbing elastic support. This support has a radial projection defining a sealing sleeve interposed between the winding stem and the case. This sleeve appears to allow lateral movement of the stem relative to the case during an impact, but the stresses experienced by the stem and the winding and time-setting mechanism remain high. Such stresses can also occur, even without any impact, when the user applies lateral pressure to the crown.

[0004] The aim of the present invention is to overcome all or part of the aforementioned disadvantages by providing a timepiece comprising a shock-absorbing device for the movement and allowing for simplified assembly of the timepiece.
[0005] To this end, the invention relates to a timepiece comprising a case with a case closed at its upper end by a bezel and at its lower end by a case back, a watch movement, and a dial mounted against the case by means of a mounting ring. The timepiece includes a shock-absorbing device for the watch movement. The shock-absorbing device comprises an upper annular piece and a lower annular piece arranged to be assembled onto the assembly formed by the movement, the dial, and the mounting ring. According to the invention, the upper and lower annular pieces each have a conical surface arranged to cooperate with at least one shoulder of the case or one shoulder of the case back, respectively.

[0009] With reference to figures 1 to 3 , a timepiece according to the invention comprises a case 2 closed, in its upper part, by a bezel 3 and, in its lower part, by a case back 4, a watch movement 5 and a dial 6 mounted against the case 2 by means of a casing ring 7.
[0010] The internal space of the case 2 defines a housing 6 in which is housed a shock-absorbing device for the watch movement, the shock-absorbing device comprising an upper annular piece 11 and a lower annular piece 12 arranged to be assembled on the assembly formed by the movement, the dial and the casing ring.

Claims
1. Timepiece (100) comprising a case (1) comprising a middle (2) closed, in the upper part thereof, by a bezel (3) and, in the lower part thereof, by a back (4), a horological movement (5) and a dial (6) fitted against the middle (2) using a casing circle (7), said timepiece (100) comprising a shock-absorbing device (10) for the horological movement, said shock-absorbing device (10) comprising an upper annular part (11) and a lower annular part (12) arranged to be assembled on the assembly formed by the movement, the dial (6) and the casing circle (7), characterised in that the upper (11) and lower (12) annular parts each have a conical surface (15, 20) arranged to cooperate with at least one shoulder (10) of the middle (2) or one shoulder of the back (4), respectively.
2. Timepiece according to claim 1, characterised in that the upper (11) and lower (12) annular parts are made of an elastomeric material such as natural or synthetic rubber.
3. Timepiece (100) according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that said upper annular part (11) comprises positioning means for the orientation of the shock-absorbing device with respect to the middle (2).
4. Timepiece (100) according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that said upper annular part (11) and the lower annular part (12) comprise casing means arranged to cooperate with the dial (6) and the casing circle (7).
5. Timepiece (100) according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that it comprises a ring (8) arranged to be placed between the back (4) and the lower annular part (12) to hold the whole once the watch is assembled.
6. Timepiece (100) according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the upper annular part (11) and the lower annular part (12) each comprise a passage (16, 23) for a winding-mechanism rod (51).

Timepiece (100) according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the casing circle (7) includes a globally annular body formed by an upper part (70) and a lower part (71), the upper part (70) being arranged to receive the dial (6) and the lower part (71) being arranged to receive the movement (5).

Timepiece (100) according to claim 7, characterised in that the upper part (70) has at least one hollow (18) as well as a discontinuous peripheral rim (19') to orient and hold the dial (6) in place on the casing circle (7), the dial (6) having catches (60) resting against the edges of the hollow (18).
9. Timepiece (100) according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the horological movement (5) is of the mechanical chronograph type.
