Description

[0001] The present invention relates to a device for a sauna heater for a sauna room according to the preamble of independent claim 1. In addition, the invention is directed to a sauna heater.

[0002] A device according to the preamble of claim 1 is designed to distribute air heated by the sauna heater above a housing of the sauna heater, which contains a heating device of the sauna heater, in a targeted manner in the sauna room and has at least one fan.

[0003] A device according to the preamble of independent claim 1 is known from DE202012101501 U1. Another embodiment of a device for a sauna heater for a sauna room is known from EP 2 092 926 A1. The known device has a pivoting fan arranged on a pivoting arm at a distance above the housing of the sauna heater. The pivoting fan is volume flow-controlled, and the flow direction can be adjusted via the pivoting arm. The device requires a large installation space and is prone to failure, as the pivoting arm is very exposed and the fan is exposed to very high temperatures. In addition, the device only directs an unsatisfactory small portion of the air heated by the sauna heater into the sauna room, resulting in an unsatisfactory sauna experience that is not comparable to manual air distribution, for example, by a sauna master after a steam infusion.

[0004] The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a device according to the preamble of independent claim 1 which eliminates the above-mentioned disadvantages and in particular can replace a manual distribution of the air, for example after an infusion or instead of an infusion.

[0005] The problem is solved by the features of independent claim 1.Accordingly, in a generic device, the object is achieved according to the invention in that the device has an air duct with at least one inlet opening below the housing and at least one outlet opening above an outlet opening of the housing, wherein the air heated by the heating device exits the housing from the outlet opening and in which a stone bed is preferably arranged, wherein the air duct and the fan are designed such that the fan draws air into the at least one inlet opening, then conveys the air upwards in the air duct along the sauna heater to the at least one outlet opening, and blows the air out of the at least one outlet opening above the outlet opening of the housing of the sauna heater, and wherein a flow alignment component is arranged at / on the outlet opening, which is designed such that a flow direction of the air can be adjusted.

[0006] The solution according to the invention eliminates the aforementioned disadvantages. The fan is exposed to significantly lower and more constant temperatures, and the air duct directs the air to the outlet opening, which can be positioned closer to the exhaust opening. This allows the air from the outlet opening to carry significantly more heated air from the sauna heater housing and distribute it in a targeted manner throughout the sauna room via the flow-direction component. Accordingly, the device according to the invention also improves the sauna experience.

[0007] Advantageous embodiments of the present invention are the subject of the subclaims.

[0008] In a particularly preferred embodiment of the present invention, the flow direction always has a horizontal component, leading from the outlet opening via the housing's outlet opening into the sauna room. This allows a larger proportion of the volume flow of heated air exiting the outlet opening to be directed specifically into the sauna room.

[0009] According to a further particularly preferred embodiment, the at least one outlet opening is arranged at a height of 2 to 20 cm, preferably 4 to 10 cm, particularly preferably 6 to 9 cm, above the outlet opening of the housing. At this distance, the heated air exiting the outlet opening can be particularly efficiently and largely carried away by the air out of the device. If a stone bed is arranged in the outlet opening, the at least one outlet opening is preferably arranged at a height of 1 to 15 cm, preferably 1 to 10 cm, particularly preferably 2 to 6 cm, above a highest point of a stone bed located in the outlet opening. The stone bed usually extends beyond the outlet opening.

[0010] In a further preferred embodiment, the device is configured such that the air flow rate through the air duct is between 50 and 150 m³ / h, preferably between 80 and 120 m³ / h, particularly preferably 100 m³ / h. This enables the most efficient and targeted distribution of the heated air in the sauna room.

[0011] According to a preferred embodiment, the device has two outlet openings, each with a flow-direction component, wherein the flow directions from the two outlet openings can be independently adjusted by the respective flow-direction components. Through two outlet openings, each with a flow-direction component, the heated air can be directed to two locations in the sauna room, while the achieved volume flow per outlet opening remains within a range that is beneficial for the sauna experience.

[0012] In a preferred embodiment, the flow direction component is designed such that both a vertical and a horizontal component of the flow direction can be adjusted. This allows the position in the sauna room to which the heated air is to be transported to be precisely adjusted.

[0013] According to a particularly preferred embodiment, the flow-aligning component comprises horizontal fins and vertical fins, which are mounted so as to be movable relative to each other and to the outlet opening. Such flow-aligning components enable precise adjustment of the flow direction and can be provided in a robust, heat-resistant, and relatively inexpensive manner.

[0014] The flow alignment component preferably has two horizontal slats arranged one above the other in parallel, which are rigidly connected to one another at their longitudinal ends and are mounted in the outlet opening so as to be rotatable about a rotation axis parallel to a longitudinal alignment of the horizontal slats, wherein the flow alignment component has at least two vertical slats which are pivotally mounted between the horizontal slats and are preferably connected to one another in such a way that the other vertical slats are aligned by adjusting one vertical slat. This design enables a particularly robust and easily adjustable design of the flow alignment component. The flow alignment component can also be mounted relative to the outlet opening in such a way that large angles with respect to the horizontal component of the flow direction are possible.Particularly preferably, the two horizontal slats arranged parallel to one another are mounted in the outlet opening in such a way that all the air passing through the air duct is directed between the two horizontal slats arranged parallel to one another. This directs all the air leaving the at least one outlet opening to the desired location.

[0015] In a further preferred embodiment, the device comprises a plastic clip that is extendably attached to one of the vertical slats, allowing the plastic clip to be grasped and the vertical slats and horizontal slats to be moved over the plastic clip. This allows the slats to be made of materials with a high thermal conductivity coefficient, while still allowing the airflow direction to be manually adjusted even at elevated temperatures in the sauna room.

[0016] According to another preferred embodiment, one of the vertical fins extends beyond the horizontal fins and the outlet opening. This allows the user to manipulate the flow alignment component with a pouring ladle or a similar component and adjust the alignment.

[0017] According to a further preferred embodiment, the at least one fan is arranged at or in the at least one inlet opening. This allows the fan to draw in air from the area below the housing as efficiently as possible. Preferably, the air duct has at least two inlet openings below the sauna heater, and a fan is arranged at or in each of the at least two inlet openings. This makes the device less susceptible to failure and allows continued use even if one fan fails.

[0018] According to a further preferred embodiment, a generated volume flow of the at least one fan is adjustable.

[0019] In a further preferred embodiment, the device comprises a noise-cancelling device that suppresses the background noise generated by the at least one fan. This can be achieved, among other things, by integrating the fan noise into a pleasant background noise. This can enhance the sauna experience, which is intended to be relaxing.

[0020] According to a further preferred embodiment, the device has a suspension on the air duct, with which the device can be attached to a first outer wall of the sauna heater housing. This allows the device to be retrofitted to existing sauna heaters.

[0021] Furthermore, the present invention relates to a sauna heater with a device according to one of the embodiments described above for a sauna room, wherein the device is attached to a first outer wall of a housing of the sauna heater, which contains a heating device and has an outlet opening through which the air heated by the heating device exits the housing. Such a sauna heater enables an improved sauna experience, as specifically heated air can be directed into the sauna room, thereby intensifying the sauna experience. This is also possible without the need for a sauna master or manual labor. This is particularly advantageous for sauna users who use the sauna room alone, as they cannot manipulate the heated air and enjoy the sauna experience at the same time.

[0022] In a preferred embodiment of the sauna heater according to the invention, it comprises a stone bed arranged in the outlet opening and an automatic infusion device comprising a reservoir, a pump, and a liquid distribution device configured such that liquid is distributed from the reservoir to the stone bed by means of the pump and the liquid distribution device. By combining the device with an automatic infusion device, the sauna experience can be greatly enhanced, especially for individual users, since a complete infusion ceremony, including air manipulation after moistening the stone bed, can be carried out without manual intervention.

[0023] The sauna heater preferably includes a voice control system that can be used to control the pump. This allows the infusion to be conveniently started from the sauna user's seated position. Preferably, the amount of liquid dispensed can be adjusted using the voice control system, and further preferably, the device can also be controlled via the voice control system. This allows the sauna heater to offer a personalized sauna experience.

[0024] In a particularly preferred embodiment, the voice control is configured such that various programs can be selected, including different amounts of dispensed liquid and device settings. This makes the voice control easy to use.

[0025] The sauna heater preferably also includes a control unit with a manual control interface, preferably with buttons, through which the sauna heater can be started. The automatic infusion device and the device can preferably be controlled and adjusted via the control interface.

[0026] In addition, the present invention relates to a sauna heater, preferably according to one of claims 9 to 11, for a sauna room with a housing containing a heating device and having an outlet opening from which the air heated by the heating device exits due to convection, wherein the sauna heater has a stone bed arranged in the outlet opening and an automatic infusion device having a reservoir, a pump and a liquid distribution device which are arranged such that, by means of the pump and the liquid distribution device, liquid is distributed from the reservoir onto the stone bed, wherein the liquid distribution device consists of a spray plate and a liquid opening, wherein the liquid opening is arranged below the spray plate surrounded by the stone bed such that liquid from the liquid opening can be sprayed against the splash plate from below,The liquid opening is preferably oriented such that the liquid flows vertically upwards. By using this liquid distribution device, the liquid can be distributed over a large area on the stone bed, and the automatic infusion device is also particularly low-maintenance, since the arrangement according to the invention eliminates the need for nozzles that are easily prone to calcification, and the water-conducting cross-sections are larger and can be better insulated.

[0027] In a preferred embodiment, the pump and reservoir are arranged separately from the heating elements, and a line runs from the pump through the stone bed to the liquid opening. The reservoir, pump, and line are preferably thermally insulated from the heating elements and the stone bed. This prevents the pump and reservoir from being exposed to excessively high temperatures, allowing for a wider range of possible components. The insulation reduces or eliminates the evaporation of water in the reservoir, pump, and line, resulting in less limescale buildup and less maintenance for the automatic infusion device.

[0028] According to a further preferred embodiment, an underside of the splash plate is curved downwards such that the liquid that emerges is distributed over at least 30%, preferably at least 50%, of the stone bed. The underside of the splash plate preferably has a honeycomb structure and / or spikes that cause the liquid to drip from the underside of the splash plate at predetermined positions above the stone bed. This allows the water to be distributed as comprehensively and precisely as possible over the stone bed, and there is little risk of water being sprayed outwards or not onto the stone bed. In addition, the curvature prevents the infusion liquid from splashing sideways onto people in the sauna cabin.

[0029] In a further preferred embodiment, the pump has a discharge head of at least 15 cm and a maximum of 45 cm, and the spout plate is spaced between 0.5 cm and 4 cm from the fluid opening. This allows the water to be distributed across the spout plate with sufficient velocity and spread over a large area of the stone bed.

[0030] In a preferred embodiment, the reservoir has a volume of 0.5 to 2 l. This ensures that at least enough liquid can be provided for infusions during a sauna session, while the structure of the sauna heater can still be designed compactly.

[0031] In a further preferred embodiment, the reservoir is located in a flap in a second outer wall of the housing such that the reservoir can be filled with the flap open. This makes handling the reservoir easy for the user.

[0032] In another preferred embodiment, the reservoir is located in a removable infusion tank, which is located in a second outer wall of the housing and can be pulled out from there. This further simplifies filling the reservoir for the user.

[0033] According to another embodiment, the infusion heater has an evaporator unit. This further expands the sauna heater's possible uses.

[0034] An embodiment of the present invention is explained in more detail below with reference to drawings.

[0035] The drawings show: Figure 1: an oblique view from above of an embodiment of a sauna heater with a device and an automatic infusion device and without the representation of the stone bed, Figure 2: a side view of the embodiment, Figure 3: an oblique view from above of the device of the embodiment, Figure 4: a sectional view of the side view of an upper end of the device of the embodiment, Figure 5: a detailed oblique view from above of the embodiment, Figure 6: a schematic detailed oblique view from above of the embodiment with a stone bed, Figure 7: a sectional view of the side view of the outlet opening and the automatic infusion device of the embodiment without a stone bed.

The flow alignment components 8 each have two horizontal slats 9 arranged parallel one above the other, which are fixed to one another at a fixed distance from one another and which are mounted so as to be rotatable about a horizontal axis 10 in the respective outlet opening 7. The mounting is designed such that the entire air flow which is guided through the air duct 5 is guided between the two horizontal slats 9, with the air duct 5 being designed upstream of this transition such that the air flow is as laminar as possible when the direction of movement changes. By mounting the horizontal slats 9 around the horizontal axis 10, the flow direction of the air from the outlet openings can be adjusted in the vertical direction, with the vertical adjustment being limited by the further course of the outlet openings 7.

[0040] Four vertical slats 11 are arranged between the horizontal slats 9, each of which can pivot about an axis that lies parallel to a normal on the two horizontal slats 9. The vertical slats 11 are connected to one another in such a way that they are always aligned parallel to one another. By pivoting the vertical slats 11, the horizontal component of the flow direction of the air from the outlet openings 7 can be adjusted. For each flow alignment component 8, one vertical slat 11 has a plastic clip 12 that can be grasped by hand to align both the vertical and horizontal flow direction of the air from the outlet openings 7 by adjusting the flow alignment component 8.

[0041] In addition to the housing 3 and the device 2, the exemplary embodiment of the sauna heater 1 shown in the figures comprises an automatic infusion device 13, which has a splash plate 14, a reservoir for infusion liquid, a pump, and a line 15 with a liquid opening. The reservoir is arranged in a removable infusion tank 16, which is easily accessible and located on a front side of the housing 3. The pump, which is arranged with the reservoir spaced apart and insulated from the heating device of the special heater, pumps infusion liquid from the reservoir through the line 15, which leads through the stone bed 17, to the liquid opening, which is arranged below the splash plate 14 in such a way that the infusion liquid is directed vertically from the liquid opening against the splash plate 14.

[0042] The spray plate 14 is curved downwards in such a way that it is particularly Figure 7It can be seen that the liquid can flow along this curvature and from there cover a large area of the stone bed 17. The curved underside of the splash plate 14 can have additional elements that cause the infusion liquid to drip from the splash plate 14 at predetermined positions above the stone bed 17.

[0043] The embodiment of the sauna heater 1 according to the invention has a control interface with buttons and, in addition, a voice control, which are configured such that a user of the sauna heater 1 can select from various programs that may include an infusion by means of the automatic infusion device with selectable intensity and / or the use of the device 2, also with intensity selectable by the air flow from the outlet openings 7.
